Hi guys,
I'm trying to mod my "home.apk" and for that I read that I need to install framework in order to properly decompile.. And I cannot install my phones framework properly, I keep getting the error message(look at screens) Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
First of all hi guys....
I have a xperia mini 4.0.4 rooted whit xposed app..
I have many modules for it too
It was working fine until then i updated xposed from 2.4.1 to 2.5
It said xposed module not active...so i rebooted my phone...but it said it still so i tried to install/update it from the main app(i downloaded the update from in of it too)but it errors...
I tried all modes(classic...recovery auto...recovery mamual)but all of them faults...
This is the error message it shows me when i try classic mode..other modes are similar to this:
Copying xposed-disabler-recovery.zip...
Mountimg/system writable...
Segment fault
Could not mount/system writable
Trying to continue anyway...
Backup already exists at/system/bin/app_process...
Copying app_process...
Segmemt fault
Could not copy app_process to/system/bin
I dont know why this happening...it started when i updated...
I have stock rom and kernel
I only could update the xposed_bridge.jar throgh the recovery mamual(third method) but i cant fully
Update it to bundled version...
Hopefully the modules still work...the changes will happen but this annoying message bothers me...
How can i fix this???any idea whats happening guyz?
A segfault on the recovery means that the recovery partition / software is faulty. I recommend reflashing the kernel, just like you did to get the recovery partition.
Hello
So I have been attempting to download and install an app (Xstana Module) ever since I installed Lollipop. Its an xposed module, and even when I knew xposed was not available for Lollipop I still attempted to keep this app updated like the rest. However. I continue to get a -504 play store error (which I have followed the steps to fix, with no avail.)
I've attempted to install it manually through the xposed app, and even downloaded the app and attempted to install it and each try results in "App not installed." I'm kind of at a loss here. The only thing I have not tried is to sideload the app and thats because I haven't had the resources available to me yet.
Anyone have any idea?
I'm running on an HTC One M8 : Android Revolution HD 34.0 with H/k, Project Era, and Lyapotas Mod Pack.
Edit: Currently attempting to place in system/app
Edit2: That soft bricked my device.
Edit3: Fixed the soft brick, still no luck on the app.
Can a moderator please close this thread. I contacted the app developer.
Thread closed, thank you.
Hello Everyone,
I got a Navon/DPS IQ7 (4.4.2) tablet to remove the minimum 50 stock trojans. I removed several fake systemapp what AVG detected except the SystemUI. I did not now what to do with it, until a friend told me I can change it to an other same version android SystemUi. Before I pushed with adb, I backed up the original with NoBloat. The problem is the SystemUi did not start, so I tried to restore with NoBloat and manually but it still does not start. What I only know the SytemUi does not exist in Installed packages, I tried to delete user cache, to factory reset and to install (with lumberjack mechanics) the SystemUI.apk as package but I got INVALID_URI error, so I am completely in puzzlement. Maybe I fail something with the permissions but I tried all of the variations what I found.
So I appreciate if someone could help me.
PS: the build number is iQ7_4GB-eng 4.4.2 KVT49L 20151021 test-keys

so recently I accidentally wiped everything on my phone except TWRP. Then I managed to boot up the phone with liquid remix installed with android 9.0 and now my phone is missing the Samsung apps (which I want on my phone) how can I get them back is there a flashable file or any installable pack I really want them back
so if someone can help please tell me what to do I will really appreciate it
Aosp based roms and Samsung apps usually don't mix very well.
You could backup your Samsung apps using Titanium backup, then try to install them one by one in your android 9.
You could also Google for a site that has Samsung apps apk's.
Don't expect much success ?

I have the APK s I just can't download them to my device if you know how to install them can you help me or redirect me to someone else that knows what to do
I suppose you've enabled install apps from unknown sources in settings.
Try to install as you would any apk, i.e. open in file explorer.
As mentioned before, don't expect them to install anyway (maybe 1 out of 20??); most are not compatible with aosp roms.
For your aosp custom rom - look for similar gapps or apps from the app store or XDA.
