As many of the other posts here on it already , latest is KitKat. You have to ota update to get any higher than that. If it was available there would already be links. There will most likely never be anything higher than KitKat that's stock firmware flashable

I need to update my g3 d850 to official lollipop and unable to find .kdz anywhere. Can anyone help me how to update the g3 to official lollipop with detail steps and links? Even lg support tool is showing that it is up to date. I am currently running on 4.4.2.

The AT&T D850 is TOT method only that's why there's no kdz at all. Only official lollipop you can get is to insert an AT&T sim.

You cannot update it with a tot file. As there's only KitKat. Your only way is to have an AT&T sim or root / custom rom. Or it might be possible to root and load the update file. Never done the img update file before but if it can be done it would be in the general section.

How to install twrp recovery?
Even in future if any updates were released then i need to install either with sim card or flashing custom roms for my at&t model?
if you're going to go through the effort of rooting your phone you might as well install twrp which instructions you can find on these forums or even on twrp website I believe. the link clearly states that it is a stock rom. furthermore the guy was even nice enough to include his own instructions! what more could you ask for.
a little reading goes a long way. personally, I would vote to stick with a stock rom like the one linked above as it will be most stable and support all the features of the phone out of the box.
once a 6.0 rom is released for the d850 it will be real easy for you to wipe and flash that to upgrade again.
Where is the offical M rom for D850 ? Some people says released but I can not find it anywhere.

The firmware update itself is released. But there is no flashable firmware. And most likely they won't be one.

The update was released via OTA so for now the only two ways to have the official update would be to be in the USA with an AT&T sim card and unrooted device, the other way is that someone that already got the update pull the system, boot, cust... partitions from their updated phones and upload them so somebody can make a flashable zip and have the ability to root the stock marshamallow for the D850...

Due to it will be a TOT file. The last Official flashable firmware for the D850 was Kitkat I believe. As well as like the G4 it took 6 months to get a TOT file, and that was only got due to someone from the inside.

But someone created a flash-able stock bump'd lollipop rom for D850. Is it not possible to get a flashable zip of stock MM rom of att and install it through TWRP..

Why there is no hope for a KDZ file for D850. Is it not possible for d850 to get firmware installed through KDZ file..

There is NEVER a kdz only tot files and tot method. If AT&T released kdz files that would put a end to the problem. But they do not. Every single LG device from AT&T and sprint is a tot file.
Modem + OS File from TWRP .. like we use to do for Lollipop ?

Dude just flash Fulmics in the LG-G3 thread runs nice on my D850. Its full stock MM with extras.

I'm on fulmics and I love it... but it would be great if we can get the official MM kernel for the D850 (it would mean faster boot time since it is not ported from the D855) and maybe the modem if it doesn't have conflicts with the bootloader of lollipop...
Can any one tell me how to update my lg g3 d850 to 6.0 marshmallow in Pakistan ???
Well you can update on different sorts of ways. If you didn't receive official update, find the ported Marshmallow from D850, or even install Fulmics rom, or some version of Cyanogenmod. Of course, you'd have to have a rooted G3 and a recovery.
I want official marshmallow not a custom roms. If anyone knows that how to update than please tell me....

Wait for the flashable tot file. Or simply temporarily install fulmics. It's awesome.
We must wait to a gentle soul to dump aotck firmware and make a flashable zip for stock mm uptade

I would suggest not to update Nougat.. the build which is floating around is not as good as stock MM. Have some patience and wait for official ota. I am using the Nougat soak build and telling it from my personal experience.

I know this. But their is some issue . when I flashed 139.23 my baseband claim unknown. So that's why I am personally requesting to put same model firmware/ota in one place

Already upgraded then downgraded .. The nougat has some major bugs

This isn't the same OTA file ! The link you have provided is a series of soak updates ! The one posted here is the final OTA that was distributed by motorola.

I respectfully disagree ! The outcomes of both the threads is completely different ! SOmeone looking for the official OTA file that Moto seeded will never find it in that thread. Because i searched all threads and never found the final captured OTA anywhere ! People can easily find it here !
The title on the other thread is rather misleading. I think this thread is for the OTA you receive if you are on Indian firmware latest MM version to update to stock Nougat. The other one is for Soak Test Nougat version. You need to apply each of the Soak Test update incrementally to reach the final Soak Test Nougat. And. The final soak test nougat is not the same as the final Stock Nougat.
