Hi,
Recently, i started getting wired alerts on my Samsung Gear2.
When I look at my watch, it says that there is a new sms with Unknown sender and when I choose show in phone, it says Failed!
It keeps alerting me with unknown sms and I do not know what is the source of these alerts.

Hi all...
I was wondering if people more experienced could help me with a strange problem.
I can't seem to send or receive sms'es. When I send an sms, nothing happens, and the message just sits there in the "Outbox".
When I send an sms to myself (from another phone), the phone WAKES UP, but no message shows up. So obviously the phone is receiving the message but it's not showing up? Maybe it's being blocked somewhere?
I've checked my settings, sms is set to send via GSM and the service center number is correct.
Also to confirm - I've tried hard-reset and the phone received sms'es fine.
But as soon as I reload my backup, it no longer receives/shows the sms'es being received. So something is block the sms from showing up. What program/setting would it be?
After installing slick, palringo, taptapsms, incoming sms not stored
I noticed the day after installing IM client, named slick, palringo and opening tapsms, i cant see my incoming sms after it comes..
it shows the notification 1 message unread, after i open it, i just see the history of sms of the same sender got bold, but only with old message, theres no new sms.. ( cant find the new received sms )
I've reset the phone, unplug the battery, its still the same..
anyone have a clue ?
I used WM 6.1 on my XDA IIs
Thanks.
Does any one have an Idea, as too, why all my incoming SMS are Unknown Sender, when in fact they are not unknown, they are in my contact list. Please note if I click on where is says "Unknown sender" which is a link by the way, I can then see who is sending the message. But the message comes in as Unknown Sender always.
Please help, I would like to correct this on my Phone Palm Treo Pro.
Please comment if you also have the same problem or if you think you have a solution to this problem. Thanks
UPDATE: I notice today, that the real problem is that my outgoing SMS (Text Messages ) are being register as Incoming ( they stay in my INBOX ) and incoming enters as Unknown Sender.
I think, if some one knows how to work with Registries, you can help me, or if you can recommend a full Option program for SMS/MMS.
I recently just received a text message from an unknown sender. The message says:

2I am unable to respond back to this message. I am using Go SMS on Xperia Play with Verizon Network with Android version 2.3.4.
Anyone have any idea what this is?

I have noticed that after I had uninstalled Civil Alerts, that I started to get these messages. Once I re-installed the program, the messages disappeared, but now I'm stuck with hearing that dumb alarm.
Oh well...
For SMS, can you get rid of "Unable to receive messages on the gear. Change the..."
I use Textra and when I go to Messages on the watch, I get the common message of, "Unable to receive messages on the gear. Change the messaging app to Messages". If I click "X", most of my message are there. Is there a way to stop getting that message from popping up without switching to "Messages" on my phone?
or, is there another app besides "Messages" that integrates with the watch? I just don't like Samsung Messages.
Thanks everyone. Also, I have googled this topic, just want to get people opinions on this great forum.
I would also like to know how to get rid of this message.
Also, I use Google messenger as my default messaging app. On my s2 watch, I only see my own outgoing messages. It doesn't show any incoming messages. How do I see both sides of the conversation?
I recently received a Gear S2 (paired to an LG Nexus 5X) and I have been unable to text people via S Voice (I receive a message stating that SMS Service is unavailable) or respond via notifications. However, I am able to text people through the "Buddy" and "Phone" applications that were pre-loaded on the watch.
Is this a compatibility issue with the phone I'm using or something else?
Thanks!
