Hi I need some help, I m using a free net which only run by an app rewrite on your-freedom, and your freedom is a one kind of vpn...so I want to share my net via wifi hotspot but when I run that app, the other device cant connect...I found pdanet which suitable for usb tethering but I want for wifi tethering...anyone know how to convert this yourfreedom vpn to normal internet?

If you have a rooted device search for "WiFi Tether for Root" this lets you to enable "access control"
Or disabling the users you do not want accessing your hotspot. + adds a lot of features for the hotspot options.

I don't have wireless, a have usually ADSL..
problem is when I have install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847002 my usb internet doesent work, I check settings/more/ tethering & portable hotspot/USB tethering... answer is : unfortunately, settings has stopped???

cm10 doesn't support native USB tethering and WiFi hotspot ..you will have to download another app..
Try to install 3rd party apps like pdanet from the play store to use them..

I am try pdanet and other program's but nothing : authentication via the proxy server was unsuccessful? what now?

Try xtether module. You need to install closed frame work then search for the module in the app

So I'm looking for an app that allows free wireless tethering for android, on iOS I used to use an app called MyWi from Cydia, everything I've looked up so far for android either requires using a pc with n app like pdanet or doesn't work, I need an app that doesn't let my carrier see that I'm tethering. The way MyWi worked on iOS was, any device that connects would use the same IP address as the phone providing the hotspot and it worked great I used to be able to tether as much as I wanted w/o my hotspot data being used up please help.
