Is the original Nexus 5 Bumper Case in the Google Store worth the steep price tag? Alternately I am looking at ordering a Spigen, either the Air Cushion one or the Metal Slate one. I've read some of the reviews for both the Spigens, and while most reviews are favorable, I am a bit concerned that some people report a 'loose' fit.

Personally I enjoy the OEM bumper case, but I do agree it's overpriced (pretty much all OEM accessories, especially Google ones, are); I also have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, and in my opinion, there's a huge difference in quality. I really didn't care for the Ultra Hybrid case, nor for the Neo Hybrid which I ended up returning (made phone way too bulky and buttons too easily pressed). However, I wouldn't say that the OEM bumper is the best case out there. I also tried out the Ringke Fusion case that's very similar to the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, but is less bulky and works better (I think its $9.99). Hope that helps. I buy a lot of cases lol so I've checked out a lot of them already. My favorites are the Bumper Case and the LG Quickcover case (also absurdly overpriced, but a very good case). I used to really enjoy Spigen's cases, but their quality has begun to slip in my opinion
I cant speak for the oem case from the play store, I use a Spigeon Slim armor case and love it.
FYI for anyone with the same question whether the case is worth it.
The case is a total joke. 35USD for a piece of hard plastic that offers little to no protection and makes the buttons hard to press while adding a lot of bulk/ It's on overpriced piece of junk.

Yeah, I have loved the UAG cases. But wondering if I should stick with them or try something better....
I'm using the Otterbox Commuter right now,only because it came free with my phone. I'm ordering the GN4 Sup case with holster, $19.99 US, from Amazon. It seems like a nice case.

Try Amazon. They have them for about $22.
I've been a UAG fan for a couple of years. I have a UAG on my Note 4. However, I decided to try a Samsung Protective Cover because of many positive reviews and because it is a bit less bulky than the UAG. I am liking it. It may not provide the same degree of protection as the UAG, but it appears to be solid and much less bulky because it conforms to the Note shape. I think it will be able to handle a moderate degree of abuse.
Definitely UAG is still one of the best. Best price on Amazon, unless you want free international shipping.
They also have a new wallet case, but not a big fan of it
Love mine! I had one on my S4, now I have one on my Note 4.
Accessory makers are now setting up pre-orders for M9 case, cool and best cases are now showing up in tech shopping sites ItsSkins, Spigen RooCase and other companies already started to offer cases.

The link doesn't go anywhere yet but it pretty much confirms that they'll be making screen protectors for it. I'm planning on getting the 0.15mm Feather Glass screen protector. (I'm hoping it will be the Feather+ Glass with rounded edges that they have for iPhone 6)
I'm not sure yet. I might start with one of the official cases and get a Spiegen on discount.
It's so hard to tell for screen protectors until there are some reviews.... Like with the iphone 6, like NONE of the companies had a good screen protector for my daughter's phone for about a month after the phone came out

I will buy ivoler case,I once bought the iVoler dot view case for my M8, I absolutely love it. I work for Sprint and I use my phone all day everyday between work and at home. I have to say it has the "wow" factor as well as very usable gestures. I have used several flip case's like this in the past and have had up and down thoughts about them, however this is the best out of all that I have used. Some reviews say that it makes the phone awkward to use with the flap open, however in all honesty anytime you use a case like this its not the same as a naked phone or regular case. The rubber that makes up the front is very soft and is easy to manipulate while folded back, and I have had no problems with it staying flat on the screen. I have carried the phone in levi's as well as slacks and the rubber surprisingly doesn't grab or make it hard to go in and out of the pocket. I did receive the gray case not the black, however I believe the warm black was intended to be this color. I would highly recommend this case to anybody, you will not be dissatisfied unless you have never used a flip style case and at that point you may not like it. Well worth the try and the money!!!
Came across this video on YouTube, features quite a few cool cases. You might want to pause the video to read up on the pros and cons as it goes a little too quick.
I'm hoping for the dot view to come out soon, if not I'll go for a fusion, love that it shows off the back of the phone.

What about Seidio cases, I've always used this maker of phone case on all the phones that I have ever purchased. I think one of the best out. Now they are making waterproof cases as well.
Don't own a Seidio case but they are well regarded. Signed up for the mailing list.

Ordered the HTC One M9 Spigen Case Thin Fit.
Looks nice and i like it thin just to protect the rear from scratches and such.
On the screen i will place a glass protector. My GF has it on her S5 and it is very smooth and strong.

Not sure I'm a huge fan of all that bulk...
IMO Incipio and Spigen make the best cases out of any manufacturer. Sure Otterbox and a few others make cases that provide more protection, but when it comes to quality & style Spigen and Incipio are King.

im looking to buy this case for note 4.. i have a normal tpu so far and it scratched my phone all over the metal
do you recommend this case? i dont want to damage my phone more.. is it metallic in the inside? because if it is it will scratch it i think
There's a few times in the past where I have used different cases that I really liked with a holster since there was not a matching holster with the case.
Looks like I'm going to run in the same situation here and was wondering if anybody had a good line of holster vertical or horizontal that they would recommend.
I'd prefer something with a rotating belt clip on it.

Thanks, I've sworn off of Seidio though. Cheap holsters that the clips break off of all the time, horrible customer service, and other issues I've had with them. I've found some excellent cases for the 6P, just need a holster to put it in. The TUDIA OMNIX is the one I'm trying to find a holster to fit right now.

Not sure on the quality, but I do highly recommend Seidio products though.

That looks very interesting. I did buy the Seidio one similar to that one for my Nexus 6P though . I bought the one for the iPhone 6 Plus. The fit wasn't perfect but very close. I stopped using it after my phone popped out once. The clip also cracked the top of my IntelliArmor TGSP.

That's interesting. I've been using the Seidio surface holster made for the iCrap 6+ with the Nillkin Nature case without any issues or the device popping out. The clip is flat on top of the device and not at an angle suggesting the device is too tall for the holster.

I'd never use Seidio products again. Terrible customer service/support, and the clips for the holsters break like candy.

I broke the holster to my case when it got caught on a chair and broke the left side support. The holster is the type where the phone slides in vertically bottom to top. I don't like the type where the phone snaps into the holster or leather pouches.
Does anyone know if you can buy the holster ONLY - NO CASE for the nexus 6p?
I need a holster cover with swivel clip. I don’t care if it is made by same manufacturer as my current generic soft lining and hard plastic shell case. I have searched ebay, amazon and other sites in google but could only find replacement holsters if I buy another case. I have four different cases already so I am sure I can find one to fit the holster.
I have checked out options in this thread but checking if there are other ideas.

Using the Seidio surface case holster.
Ditto on Seidio holsters breaking. I had theirs for my previous phone and wouldn't recommend it. Their design is flawed. I had an encased holster for my S6 and it worked really well. Design was probably one of the better.
Bump. I'm looking for something similar. Problem is that most of the pouches I find online are cheap and will eventually tear or break somehow.
