Headset and power adapter - Honor 8 Accessories

Hi guys.
I was a bit surprised that this awesome phone didnt ship with a headset. Have anyone found out why?
And is it possible to buy another power adapter? I read somewhere that only Huawei's official adapter supports fast charging. Is this true or can i buy like a Tronsmart 2.0?

my european version from Amazon came with a headset.... and yes its true only the power brick shipped with the Honor 8 supports fast charging

I have a Tronsmart W3PTA and it´s very good. It fast charges Honor 7 (in ROMs that support it) so I guess it would do the same for Honor 8.

Ok thats a bit weird. I bought mine in a Tele2 store in Sweden. Was the headset inside that big rectangular box together with the phone?

I understand the Nexus 4 uses this chip, and the datasheet is here.
So, the receiver is about 90% efficient when charging. I am not sure, but as this is a charge controller too I think that quoted efficiency from page 12 is for the DC provided to the battery. This is quite good as obviously a non-wireless charge controller phone would have some losses when charging a battery.
I presume that by AC they mean from the wireless antenna rather than mains, so you would have to include the waste in the plug/transmitter too.
Edit: It looks like most of the losses are in the transmission, as the efficiency there is much lower. In that datasheet it suggests more like 72-74% maximum, which is about right if the manufacturers quote 70%.
Check this one out guys. Looks quite nice and seems to have a rubbery surface to prevent the phone from slipping.
http://www.philips.co.uk/c/cell-phone-accessories/dlp7210b_10/prd/
They sell it on amazon.de but don't seem to ship to Denmark
Found it on ebay for £37 here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Philips-D...degeräte_Dockingstationen&hash=item27cce3049d

Hey, I have received an Energizer mat and can confirm that it does indeed work with no hiccups. Only problem is that the glass back makes the phone very slippery on the matte-like finish on the Mat. Until I figure out a way to make it stay it's pretty much a nuisance and not usable.

It would be interesting to see if this can be used with the wall charger though (as opposed to a PC), and if that will bring a faster charge time.

Don't know if you all noticed, but at the bottom of the page: http://www.myqimini.com/files/Qimini-FactSheet.pdf
It mentions a travel charger, so *hopefully* that means that it has an AC charger that pushes the juice a bit faster than a standard USB (2) port.
They do list the output current as 1A, which is good.
If its real and not real expensive then I would have one. It would be nice when I travel just to set that up on the night stand and leave it there as I go out and about when traveling.

I downloaded an app called "NFC
Tools" that's supposed to erase tags and write them, etc but of course Nokia locked the NFC tag specifically for the use with Nokia phones. I'm pretty sure it can somehow be hacked to work with the N5. I just don't know how.

First make sure that NFC is turned on, on your phone in settings. Once NFC is turned on then touch the tip of your phone to the base of the Nokia DT-910 similar to the sample picture of the yellow Lumia below.

It adds a "power" tag (plugged or unplugged) and this is triggered by plug or unplug a charger ... no matter if this is a normal charger or a Qi charger ...Have a look at the additional triggers ... you could have a lot of fun with the wifi or bluetooth triggers as well

Where did you buy the phone? Mine just says OnePlus. I've never seen a phone that has the IMEI printed on the case.
Update: Found someone else saying their T-Mobile variant has IMEI printed on the back. LoL

My T-Mobe. Purchased Mirror Grey GM1915 does not have the IMEI number on the back of it.
I can confirm my mirror gray TMobile variant has it on the back as well. I just put a skin on it so it is not visible.

It's actually on a sticker with a bar code on it.

Yes, but I removed that when I got mine. The sticker is a white sticker that comes off easily enough. The sticker is not meant to be left on the device.

That was my thought as well. What is pictured does not look removable, which is not how mine came.
Kind of odd that some have and some don't. I always thought that it was not good to share that number
