*** What is the main concept of “Facetimes emotions” ?
“Facetimes emotions” is used for looking back the history on facebook. However, it is not just that.
- When you happen to realize that you have just forgotten something that are very important you can use “Facetimes emotions” to get them back.
- When you feel empty or depressed about the future you may get your strength from looking back what you achieved or did in the past
- One day, you randomly flip through different date, you are surely filled with nostalgia for all the things that you and your friends did together on old days. Especially, if you are currently out of touch with your friends because of busy working life , this maybe a good chance for you to come together.
- If you want to understand someone more that you especially care about, knowing what they did in the past would be a good idea.
*** What are differences between facebook history and the activity log of facebook ?
- Facetimes emotions brings you back to the exact date that you want. It shows clearly the total number of activities or posts you have on that day and lists out all of them. You are no longer have to slide up and down to looking for the date you want on the activity log facebook.
- You have two ways to choose the date. The first is using calendar and the second is enter the exact date.

It’s very simple. The only thing you have to do is choosing the date and then wait to see the results.

Alot of what they are trying to accomplish has been done already via WAD and Mortscript.
Do not get your hopes up.
- You can not register in the forums since no activation mails are being sent out.
- If you report this to the only e-mail address I have found on the page you will get no reply.
- If you try to get in contact with the persons behind the project and the homepage you will get no reply
- No one is answering the comments made on the page
- No betaversions has been published as far as I understand it, only screenshots
This does not mean that I think that the whole thing is a scam or anything like that - just that for a project that is actively seeking betatesters they for sure are making it hard (impossible) for people to actually getting involved. Not to mention the fact how they handle bugreports for their own homepage.
I had no problems registering in the forums there, and the creators answered some technical questions yesterday. This project is very young, looks like it was only started this month. Give it some time, and if they decide to check this site out, I hope it can lead to a good thing and not have them be put off by scorn and doubt.
i had no problems registering either; i do not beleive it is a scam, they did not say they are going to charge people for the software/application.
Congrats! Inform the ones running the show then that many visitors have not been able to register since they do not reply to any e-mail or provide with any information as on why things are not working. And no, this is not just me - check the comments - there are a large number of people not being able to register.
And in my book - any project that does not respond to bugreports is in trouble.

I just discovered this app today, and I'm glad I did. It seems to be the only one that quickly and easily syncs with my Google calendar.
One question: if I install the app on two different devices that are linked to the same Google account, and set both apps to sync with my calendar, would I get double entries on my calendar if I have the same show list on both devices?
Suggestions/errors
It would be nice to be able to mark what episodes I have already watched.
The month is wrong. On the details screen for a show it shows 15/0/2012 instead of 15/1/2012.
The dates should be shown in the local date format.
Would be nice on the calendar page to be able to go back in time, to see which shows were missed.
Onthe "On Air" page, the text doesn't always show completely when there are more than 2 lines. However, it's not consistent. Some shows with 2 or 3 lines fully readable, whereas some only have 1 1/2 line??
An option to only search either US or UK shows?
In the filter option, it should be possible to filter based on words within a title. That way you won't have to remember if there is a "The" as the first word.
It's a good start, and it looks nice.

Some background info:
The backend is done with Google AppEngine + Jersey (RESTful webservice).
All the quotes are saved in the AppEngine datastore.
The app aggregates the view counts of all views in the internal SQLite database and submits those aggregated values once every day (to prevent massive write operations on the AppEngine datastore).
Ratings are submitted instantly.
The app has an auto update feature which will be executed once every day by default (interval configurable and you can also turn it off completely). This update process retrieves only those quotes that have been changed since the last update. They are transmitted with a GZIP compression to save your bandwidth!

yes that's normal on first launch. it downloads all the data. You can configure the interval of auto updates in the settings (or disable it if you prefer manually updating the data).

I have a website and quite a few members have suggested that adding a chat room would be a great idea.
I'm searching for something I might be able to integrate well into my site.
Has anyone tried RumbleTalk or C-box?
I made a lot of research in
finding a chatroom for my website. I used envolve for a
while till they closed up, pitty. I tried IRC but I truly did not like
the look and feel and the “mess” of text in there.
I had several points which are important to me.
1
– First I needed a chat that can be seen in mobile (all versions) so I
narrowed down the search for html5 chat room that look good on both
mobile and pc.
2 – I needed a custom design, I needed my background to be black or transparent. This was very hard to find (my site is dark).
3 – I do not like to install the chat in my server as this is high cpu and resource consumer. So I need a chat service.
4 – Lastly, I needed the ability to add youtube videos and upload files.
I have checked several chats and only 2 met my needs, RumbleTalk and Cbox.
I choose RumbleTalk finally as it can be integrated into my page and not only as toolbar.

The thing is that with Rumbletalk you can manage just about anything. Backround, text style, wight and height of the chat room, etc etc,.. That is why so many people love it. You can also use it as a floating chat or as a window chat.
