This PicPac app enables EVERYONE to make their own Lego Movie, plus many possibilities.

Stop motion, time lapse, photo slideshow - To put it simply, it is an Android app which creates timelapse video, stop motion video and photo slideshow very easily. It uses your gallery photos, gallery videos (broken down to pictures) or Instagram photos, or captures time-lapse photos.
Build a community - It also builds a community with people who love timelapse and stop motion. I am very surprised that there is no such online community exist, though there are so many such-kind-of videos on Youtube and Vimeo.

How to use this app?

Finally, some notes on my app development.
After about three months of app design and development, website frontend and backend setup, blog setup and social website setup,
this PicPac app is live for public beta testing. I am an independent Android developer and a PhD student, so I do not have much money to play with for graphic

My son has been looking for an app like this forever! Brilliant, purchased two copies!

App is really cool but cannot download music from SoundCloud, the download stops after a few seconds saying unsuccessful. Any ideas?

i used to love making stop motion type videos but transferring tons of pictures to the computer from a camera was a pain. good looks on this

apparently soundcloud was having a few problems earlier today, idk though i didnt actually check. try the actual soundcloud app itself just to see if thats all good, is it working fine?

Thank you for the logcat. I also got a few from the Google Play Console.
That was probably because I forgot to encode the query string to a good format, so for example if it contains space, it crash...
I have updated the code to fix a few other bugs, and will push it to Google Play in a few hours.
You will get the app auto updated in roughly 12 hours.

Not sure exactly why, but many of SoundCloud music are from free users, and their song can only be download for a limited times (maybe 1000).
Try a different song, and a smaller sized one?

Just 1 suggestion: is it possible to add an option to add image from Gallery which would launch the default gallery app..? Or like add pic from album so that it is easy to add pics to a project..
The current pic selector takes a lot of time to load each picture.. And its quite hard to find some specific pic out of a bunch of 1000+ pics..

You have SOOOO many pictures in your phone! My dev phone (Nexus 5) only have 200+, and I clean it regularly so it runs ok ^_^
Currently the only solution is to create another project with your new pics, then combine (i.e. Pro feature) your two or more projects into one.
The problem of the default gallery app is that it only support selecting one picture a time, so if you want to add multiple pictures, you need to do it multiple times.
I will definitely consider your suggestion, and support adding pics into existing project soon

Lol.. Actually i like to have all my photos with me all the time..
If gallery only allows us to add 1 pic at a time then that would be a bigger problem..
See im no developer so i dont know what is possible and what is not..
But i have a few (stupid) ideas:
1) There could be a way to make ur app to read pictures in different folders.. Like you see when u send pics on Whatsapp..
2) Instead of launching gallery you could launch a file Explorer.. That would allows us to add few pics at once..
3) I think this could be possible.. When we add pic there r options on top to select today, last 7days and all.. If you could make that bar scrool horizontally and add options like last month or 6 month..
These r just vague ideas.. I have no intention of dumping them on you..
The app is great anyway..

Thanks! So far it's been rather fantastic. So there's mention of a paid for app in there and every time I click it it sends me to a blank page.

Pressing menu on nav-bar causes app to stretch under the nav-bar.
Though this needs confirmations, could be Venom ROM related.
I think I had similar issues(all apps ignoring the nav boundaries) when configuring the nav-bar buttons.
PS: The cover art stretching should probably be fixed at some point. Also the whole now playing view gets really stretched in landscape.
I'll be following the development. Seems really promising app for me, as I like having options to make UI work most efficiently for me.

yup the navigation is a ROM related issue becoz i dont use the translucent navigationbar flag.
can u please explain the cover art strecthing did u try the crop album art option in setting, and do u want album art to strech or crop??

yup i am aware of it , it will be fixed in the next 1 or 2 release, also i am thinking to modify search view totally. i am changing the my app logic so it will be fixed with that.

You can see the stretching happen in that earlier picture, people and faces become thinner. Ticking the crop option didn't seem to change it. I'd prefer it cropping or scaling down instead of stretching.
Also here's how it stretches with me in landscape.

I checked this out I saw many apps pretty much same and same features I'm guessing it's made from an open sourced music player but My player is still one of the best

I like the player so far, nice UI and I especially like the way you have implemented the album art in the notification.
So is it possible to decrease the size of the buttons in the notification so they're not so large, or at least refine them to give them a cleaner look. And I would like to see the ability to swipe the album art to the next track.
I tried using this app with my headset and it does not recognize button presses. So for now that's all I can think of, I'll post more if I think of something.

Yes button from headset are not recognized, this is the only great issue.
Secondary album art are not recognized, if your song use is own album art cover pulse only use a random cover it find on the same album. Example: Various Artist album every song with is proper cover, Pulse only show the first cover it match from the album, and use it for every song inside it.

I don't have a headset with buttons to test this issue but I do have a setting on my device that can simulate headset button presses and it works for me, are you talking about the next, play pause and previous buttons? I'll have to look into this one.

Gestures for switching tracks is on the to do list and should be coming soon.
I think you're right about the size of the buttons on the notification and widgets I'll reduce them slightly.

Pulse uses Androids MediaStore database to find album art so it will use the album art assigned to the album of the song you are currently playing. There is a setting you turn on to use embedded art, if you go to Settings > Artwork > Use Embedded Album Art. This will display the album art that is embedded in the file currently being played.

My bad, I don't look inside setting too much, but yes we talk about the headset control, basically music app use a double tap on pause button for next track and a 3 tap for previous track. I prefer long press on volume up to go next but I think Android can't manage it good because only using Xposed Framework + Gravity Box long press to skip is working with many music apps.
Using headset buttons instead of screen also reduce battery consuption not only buceause dispaly is off but because with screen on music apps generally use max cpu freq.
I don't know why now reproduce music need this power when in the past with dualcore it was not, I hope you can focus your promising app with a light cpu and ram usage in mind, this will be great

By far the best music player with crossfade I've used. Most music apps have problems with crossfade and trickles the electricity or whatever when switching to new tracks. If you're using headphones and have sensitive ears like mine you'll hear a "tick" or "crackle" in other music apps. Your app doesn't do this, it's seamless and very fluid when switching.
It be nice to have a feature to swipe left and right on album art swiftly to switch songs; previous & next in now playing screen.

I saw a new update from Pulse Audio
A little bug concerning album art:
Now everithyng ok Pulse can use album artowork from the file if present and it is showed on PlayNow tab.
The issue is the album art dispalyed on blockscreen that is only the first album art it find in the same album.
I have album with various artist inside and every song use is own album artwork, so I can see that lockscreen does not match with cover art displayed in Now Playing

1. In folders, it would be better if it shows only the ones with music files, rather than showing all folders like a file explorer.
2. A sleep timer would be really good.

Impossible to see notification area controls

I've got an android hauwei p8 lite and have mx player set to play in the background.
The big problem is that the very dark controls of the player controls when viewed in the drop down notification area can't be seen as the notification area itself is very dark by default.
I have tried various settings in the player and inversed some colors but nothing so far is changing those controls which really can't be seen.. Has anyone got any ideas what I can change and I've attached a screen shot showing what I'm talking about.

Brand new SLR app for Oculus Rift with local files playback

Happy to share the news that we have a new update of our Mod Edit: Commercial links removed .
- We have added a ton of video adjustment options including: Zoom Tilt IPD Adjustment Height Brightness Contrast Saturation Force Monoscopic
- We've also added some global settings like anti-aliasing options and supersampling.
- Our video player UI has been significantly updated
- now it is real to play local files from the app as well as stream.
We are working on getting more full length videos s and will soon have an option to subscribe to studios and stream full length videos directly from the app.
