Google launches Music Store today!

Got this in the email today:
Dear Music Beta user,
We're excited to announce that Music Beta by Google is officially graduating from beta today! Google Music will remain a free service, and you can continue to store up to 20,000 songs in your personal music library. Please see the revised Terms of Service for this product update.
Google Music also comes with a number of new features. We've launched a new music store on Android Market that works seamlessly with Google Music. Shop on the web or your Android device for millions of tracks and hundreds of free songs for your music library. All of your purchases are automatically stored on Google Music for free (and don't count toward your 20,000 song limit). You can even share a free full play of any purchase with your friends on Google+.
For Google Music users with Android phones and tablets running version 2.2+, you will automatically receive an updated version of Android Market with the music store over the next few days. You should also receive a system notification with the Music app update sometime today, but you can always download it immediately.

So I checked it out, and they are offering a free single everyday, better than the iTMS! Your Market app should update within the next few days with this new store. In the meantime:

That's awesome news. I've been waiting for this for a while. I wonder if it will ever be as popular as iTunes.

I live in Australia and I can't find Google music App on the market.

Perhaps someone could tell me how you initially upload your songs? Presumably you can do it from the PC?

That's how it worked in Beta. You choose which folders to upload and you're good to go. The application on the pc checked those folders for new additions and uploaded those as needed

You are using it now? how does it compare with itunes? More songs? Easier to use?

I don't like how the music app does not let me download cloud music to my internal storage. There is absolutely no option to set the download folder or tell it which SD card to use.
However I will still use it since Zune just stole $10 from me duebto the lack of a cloud component like Amazon and Google. No more Zune and No more iTunes. If you wanna sell to me you better putnit in a music locker where I can download it infinite tines or stream it from anywhere.

What about PVStar? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.asbit.pvstar
I guess the advantage with this is it uses the official YouTube app.
PVStar is able to stream just audio in the background though.

Is it okay to disable Google Pay Apps such as Google Pay Books, Google Pay Magazines, Google Play Movies and TV and Google Pay Music. I do not use any of these apps but I see them running processes in the background. Always...
Also if I disabled Talk and Music Hub?

Well it is fine to disable the Google Play apps and so is disabling talk but I am not sure about music hub.

hi,
i want to ask 2 questions
1.The problem with google play beta program solve now abd can get link plz?
2.its write to me "the app doesnt buy on google play" some eror message that i dont know about hear and i can't use on it,he think that i dont buy It from google play.

I can't understand.
Are you facing the issues in purchasing the app from play store?
Either Google play payment may not be available in your country or a ususal download error on playstore.
If google play payment is not supported in your location you can buy it from official website.( https://sites.google.com/site/mxvpen/buy)
If still have difficulties try to purchase/install from website (http://play.google.com).

Until now i download the app from google group or the beta website(the reaguler and the pro versions),from last version i was doenload it and when i try to use on the app,i dont sucseas,i get the eror nessage that i wrote before.
Also i want to know if can use for beta on google play program to beta apps-like use on facebook,facebook messenger,etc.

Until now the paid version was downlod free on google site,so its the reason for that i get eror when i try to downoload the paid version on free from google site?

1. You cannot download MX Player Pro "free" from Google Play store unless you bought one before.
2. If you bought one from Google Play store, you should be able to use MX Player Pro Beta also.
To ensure your problem, would you send me your purchase record from Google Play store?
If you concern about security, send a message using "Contact developer" link from Google Wallet -> Transactions -> MX Player Pro.

New, Google Play Music broke the ability to...

The recent update to google play music has broken the ability for 3rd party apps to 'play tracks' via Google play music.
I use the smartconnect app to play tracks through Google play music when it detects my car's Bluetooth, but with recent update to the play music app this no longer works.
I've gone into apps and uninstalled the recent update but the same issue persists.
Anybody else running into this issue?

I realize this is a very obscure error, but any help would be greatly appreciated...
What directory is the google play music app installed in? Maybe I can start looking for something in there.
I got google play music all access for the seamless integration. And now it's not working....
I submitted a bug report through the feedback option, but google never responds to that.

So I tested this with an older device I reset it to factory and the play tracks (which launches google play music at stays playing music) works.
Can somebody tell me how can I know what files the update installed?
