I'm currently doing some research related to embedded sensors in mobile devices. In the research, I utilize data collected from the accelerometer, gyroscope, and touchscreen of the device. My motivation behind using these sensors in particular is that they are available almost universally on smartphones and tablet.
However, because this is research, I need to back up the claim that they are available everywhere with numbers or results. I am having a hard time finding a source that shows the percentage of mobile devices with a given sensor. For example, a list like this would be ideal:
Code:
Accelerometer: 96.7%
Gyroscope: 83.2%
Touchscreen: 99.5%
Front-Facing Camera: 69.3%
Rear-Facing Camera: 79.5%
Any help from the wizard developers here is much appreciated.
TLR - How many devices on the market have a certain sensor?
There's some weird problem is in my Huawei Nova lite or p8 lite or gr3 2017 (IDK why th they name so many model names for one device).
Its 360 vr functionality is not working properly. When i test the gyroscope, rotation vectors, gravity sensor, compass etc all gives the perfect value but when i run 360 video on youtube (not in vr mode), street view or any kind of 360 related game, screen doesn't move the way it supposed to do. Like if i turn my mobile from left to right it moves but it lags behind and the screen shows like it is losing frames.
But in few sectors like vr mode in youtube or cardboard demo mode the videos are smooth. I don't understand where is the problem. The app is ok. sensors are ok but I guess the firmware is responsible for this because some says when they upgrade to emui 5 they have similar issues. So I don't know what to do now.
Hello people
If you have a device like a Kindle Fire or some other device without ambient light sensor, or just may broke.
If it does, I've made this application that use the frontal camera as sensor.
NO ROOT REQUIRED
Requires frontal camera working
Amazon AppStore
Aptoide
Feedback or suggestions are welcome.
Hi!
is thewre any smartphone brands that their devices having perfect compaboility with Gcam versions?
I mean cameras working, OIS, Stabilization when recording video etc.?
I tried gcam on other realme bydget device and photos were perfect although nightmode strufled because there was not OIS and the video stabilization didnt worked. So i came to theconclution that better to take a pixel than searching and trying Gcams .
So i got a pixel and then an other (4a) and sadly i lost it . And because availibility problem exist in my country too (no google store) the price is just too much for a device. So i searvh an other brand because i feel like trapped to a Brand that doesnt want to shell their phones .
Do you have any suggestions ? (except xiaomi and samsung phones)
GCam - developed and copyrighted by Google - is only available for / applyable to Google devices.
You have to search for a ported ( cloned / modded ) GCam what is suitable to device you have in mind ...
There is native option in camera to scan 3d objects?
I know some phones have an option to natively scan objects with tofu sensor.
Thor is some option like this in moto g100?
I'm searching phones with this option
Short aswer is NO.
G100 haven't any app to use ToF3D as 3D scanner, and I didn't any app that can use it... I think that Samsung have an native app to do this in their phones with ToF3D. But Samsung app doesn't work for non Samsung phones.
There is a 3D Live scanner in the Google Play, that somehow utilises the ToF to scan objects, but it is not perfect.
Sadly Motorola is not up to any apps for ToF sensor (they ditched the ToF in other Moto phones).
