[Completed] Accidentally replace Build.prop without grant access - XDA Assist

Edit Build. Prop to Change Default orientation Of My tablet (Dark evopad r9730. Another visture 5 hd copy). But after replacing the Build. Prop I Forgot to do chmod 644. Now tablet won't start. Rkbatchtool doesnt See the device So I cant Flash ROM again via Batch Tool. Tried to Change privileges With adb shell but it gives an Error as "no such file or directory". Then I try Flash rom using Recovery mod's Update With adb and Update with external storage but both solutions end up with "installation aborted" when verifying Update in progress. I tried both stock rom and Custom rom from arctablet (that previously installed on the device). I ran out from ideas and Solutions. Thanks in Advance for your help.

[Completed] Cannot see tablet via adb?

Asus Iconia B1. I went to modify a file in system and set the mount option on Es File explorer. Modified the file and forgot to do the mount bit again. Booted and it locks on boot 'Iconia' screen.
I can boot into recovery and see the 3 menu options for Clean boot etc, but none of these have resulted in anything. Unfortunately I do not have a rom on the tablet either to try and install anything else?
I have tried via windows 7 to connect via adb, but the tablet can't be seen? I'm sure the correct drivers should be on, but nothing? kill-server, start-server, devices always brings up nothing?
Can anyone please help?

[Completed] LG Tribute successfully rooted and running cm 12, suddenly cut off from root access.

I actually have several errors here that I need help with.
1. Superuser is telling me to update the binary and giving me two options. Cancel and Recovery Install. The first does what it says but the second brings up an error message, which says,
"There was an error installing Superuser. Please send a log of the error to the developer. "
I click OK and check the log file, but its empty.
2. The file manager tells me that I cant extract the UPDATE-supersU-.zip that I pushed from my computer because I don't have root access.
3. The app Device Control doesn't register that my device is rooted and thus will not function at all.
4. The screen will turn on immediately after timing out. The phone isn't set to be always on.
5. The only way I can boot into twrp recovery is through the app Flashify.
If someone out there helps me it would be much appreciated because my tribute is my only phone and I need it to function

[Completed] Zenfone 2[551ML] 2.20.40.59 update not working.

Hello
My device is running on 2.19.40.22 & it is rooted.
I am trying to update the firmware to latest update which is 2.20.40.59.
I tried 2 methods, viz:
1. Copying update file in internal memory & restarting the device.
2. Using ADB sideload.
Result
While trying to update from internal memory, it shows installing system update for some time & than shows "Error" with a dead android bot(same which is displayed when entering recovery mode).
While updating using sideload method, it transfers the file successfully to the device & when it tries to install, it says file is not proper.
Please help someone.
Thanx

[Completed] TCL M2U problems trying to flash.

Hi, not sure if I am posting this in the correct place but am having problems with a TCL M2U ( which appears to be riddled with viruses and is next to unusable). I was planning on attempting to flash it but can't get it to connect to the PC (any PC), and even the option for connecting via USB in storage settings is 'greyed out' and cannot be selected.
Is it possible to flash it from the SD card maybe, I can access a (Chinese) menu by pressing the power up button while powering on, but my reading of Chinese is somewhat lacking unfortunately.
Managed to get a recovery working on the phone, ( from here http://www.needrom.com/category/tcl/m2u/ ) but when I try to flash the Amigo rom from there it fails.
Managed to flash the Lewa rom though, so have phone back in action (to a certain extent), but would prefer a different rom.
Was getting ERROR 7 using CWM to install the amigo rom, but was reading here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762 ) how to fix it, but when I open the 'updater-script' file in notepad, it does not appear to have any of the 'assert' lines referred to in the fix.

[Completed] The operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way .

I can't check for updates or update my OS (My device is a Tab S) .
I remember using a program that needed usb debugging to recover deleted files from android and it said it would make a one-click root then remove the root after it's finished but the program never worked and got stuck so I unplugged my tab and I suppose it changed something in the system files trying to recover the deleted files or didn't remove the one-click root , I tried removing my sd card then wiping my cache partition but this didn't work . The device was never rootes or modified in anyway , any ideas ? The device works fine except for this .
I would appreciate any ideas .
