Deep Sleep issues after rooting with PingPong

Hi all guys!
New phone, first post in the new community!
I just grabbed a SGS6 on 5.0.2 stock Samsung rom which i rooted with PingPong root method to avoid tripping my knox.
Everything works flawlessly but the phone seems to be unable to enter in deep sleep mode. I have already cleaned my cache from stock recovery without success.
Any clues? I have made some research but it seems that i cant manage to find a solution for this particular situation. Thanks yall for the help as always!

Flash back to stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin to solve your problem.

SM-N920p Keeps rebooting after root on marshmallow . Have i bricked my phone?

Hello all. I am from the UK and recently purchased a sprint model phone. I wanted to remove handsfree activation. In order to do that i need a root. I rooted 5.1.1 with kernel SpaceX-Kernel-v0.1_N920P(official).tar and all seemed ok. Then i noticed that you could root marshmallow. I followed a tutorial on youtube and flashed two files through twrp no-verify-opt-encrypt.zip and SuperSU zip. I rebooted the phone and now i have a persistent problem. After around 15-30 seconds my phone shuts off and reboots itself. I have tried reflashing stock roms and the problem still persists. I have no idea if i have broken the phone as its usable until it shuts off . I went into the about phone section and it tells me the baseband and software versions are unknown aswell. Is there anyway to recover this?
Known issue. Drain battery until it is dead and charge again.

Thank you very much for responding. That has solved the issue completely! Using MOAR rom on 6.0.1 with no issues. Thanks once again!

[Completed] My Note 5 Extreme Battery Drain on Marshmallow and Can't Downgrade to Lollipop

I been having an awful battery life....my android OS is usually 30-50 when idle and android OS 100% when fully charged.
I didn't do anything with the phone for 3 hours and yet it drained 30% battery. I try downgrade back to lollipop but it turns out that the new software update restricted me from downgrading the software. The reasons are unknown to me. Having VoLTE on doesn't do much battery drain on my other xiome phone.
I disabled most bloatware using PRO DISABLER TOOL and disable location and location history. My display is set to 50% all day without turning on the auto brightness but still battery lost when idle.
When i try to downgrade to lollipop, odin failed and the error was hidden.img. I search for solution on the web. Using method of extracting and deleting the hidden.img before i flash again but still failed. I'm in a loop right now dealing with this software issue.
I'm using a Malaysia Carrier XME built. Galaxy Note 5 Duos (SM-N9208)
I really need help in :
1) can I downgrade back to lollipop and if can, HOW ?
2) if i can't downgrade back, can you guys help me in dealing my battery problem.
Thank for helping me and other people who has the same problem as me...TQ XDA

Greetings and welcome to assist. The error message from odin is because you are trying to install a firmware from a different carrier, the csc file is probably too big which means eithet use a fitmware with a pit file included or try and find a firmware for the carrier the phone was shipped with.
Too fix the battery drain I would first try wiping cache and davlik/art cache and if that didnt work factory reset. You could also install better battery stats and see what is causing the drain, why not create an account and ask here

Proximity sensor stops working

Hello guys,
I've got a problem with my Nexus 5 - after few hours of being powered on and idle, the proximity and light sensor stops reporting anything and reboot is needed to restore them (eventually, the problem returns and another reboot needs to be done in order to make them work again).
At the moment I'm at Marshmallow, build MTC20F, kernel ElementalX-6.27.
I tried to change baseband and bootloader, but it didn't help.
Is it possible to get rid of this without downgrading system to KitKat?
Thanks in advance.
Does the same problem happen on stock MM? If not, I would conclude that the custom ROM is not fully compatible with the phone.

Really need help with possible kernel, last time tried TWRP caused bootloop :(

Hey Guys,
Long story short, I had my Sprint Note 5 rooted a while ago! due to some apps screwing me over and not allowing to use them due to being rooted I unrooted (via supersu)
Realized ever since I rooted my battery was totally crap and figured after I unroot it would help (it didn't) read about how it trips the Knox and it affects the deep sleep of the phone (thus **** battery life)
I read on here to just load a kernel in order to fix the deep sleep issue. I've rooted and loaded kernels before on other phones (no issues everrrrr).
When I looked up the TWRP version to use and flash via Odin it said successful. Phone restarted and it never came back up again. I downloaded literally all of the TWRP versions they had on their site, flashed all of them via odin and none of them would get me out of the boot loop. I got completely screwed and had to load a stock firmware from that sam site to get my phone working again. Everything was completely lost on my phone. pics that were never backed up
Due to that, I have been totally hesitant to try this again as that was the only way to fix my phone. I am willing to try again but really want to go into this prepared and have it be a smooth process ( I already backed up ALL of my files on my computer) I don't really care for TWRP or Kernels but I just want to fix the stupid deep sleep issue. I read somewhere on here that people having bootloops from twrp on note 5s was due to not being rooted first? I've also seen (as I did this almost 8 months ago) there are new TWRP versions since then, but afraid to even do those.
Is there a solution I can do to just fix the damn deep sleep issue? phone literally last 2-3 hours idle. Willing to donate via paypal to someone to help walk through it. This is a sprint variant note 5
thanks in advance
