MediaTek published at the end of 2015, GitHub, the source code (kernel and baseband) SoC MediaTek MT6795 better known as Helio X10, top of the range processor chip maker.
Xiaomi has used the code for the MIUI 7, which has forced MediaTek to publish everything. This means that from now but developers can produce custom ROMs for many terminals that use the X10 Helio such as the redmi Note 2, the Sony Xperia HTC One M5 or ME.
If you want to start studying the code of Helio X10 is sufficient follow the links attached below, as if the hands have a phone that makes use of this SoC good news is that soon will be published new custom ROMs.

Xolo has released kernel source code for its mid-range Q1100 Android smartphone. The source code has been posted on SourceForge by the company's developers.
Notably, this may just be the first time when an Indian handset maker has released source code for its smartphone. For those unaware, the kernel source code enables developers to create better custom ROMs for smartphone, and is of little direct use to consumers until such a time.
The Q1100 smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution, translating to a pixel density of 294ppi, and boasts One Glass Solution (OGS). A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM 8228) processor powers the device, clocked at 1.4GHz, along with an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Great device with powerful CPU and ram but stuck on Android 8.0 OS no update from Alldocube. This tablet is software locked impossible to root and not supported by TWRP and Lineage OS so I recommend you avoid it and get a tablet from a more popular company like Samsung etc.
TWRP, Root and much more get ready)

ARMv8 is 64-bit CPU. It's also called ARM64.
Take note that a Android GSI can only be run on Project Treble enabled devices.
Also look inside here:

Thank for your reply!
I tested my phone for treble support few weeks ago, I got positive result.
I still have some questions.
Are you sure it's x64?
Also, will GSI be buggy? I read somewhere it always will be buggy, hut that was few years ago
Here in Malaysia there is a brand called LongTV that runs Hi3798MV200 chipset as per https://www.hisilicon.com/en/products/smart-media/STB/Hi3798MV200. We also have a massive problem here with clones and bootlegs of everything so even this unit that runs really nicely has been cloned and runs a crappy version of android that doesn't allow you to a lot of basic tasks like updating Google play services. I got ripped off and sold a clone when I was trying to buy the real thing. I want to install a clean version of android (or any version that allows me to update and control the way I should) but I don't know which version I should be running.
Can anyone offer any help on how to free this box up and make it more user friendly? The original works great. The clone is useable but painful.
Here are the specs from CPU Z
4 core Arm A53 @ 2.0GHz
GPU Renderer - Mali-450MP
