Hold down on an empty part of your home screen until you get the screen to change wallpaper and home screen tiles. Then select themes tab at bottom. This will show what themes you have currently to apply, there will an option which says more themes here, when you select that it will take you to the theme store.

If i want to choose a custom wallpaper that i've downloaded from te internet and i choose the pic as background, it doesnt show the background that i choose but its a black background. It only shows the wallpaper that are stock installed.
How can i fix this?

Well:
- long press home screen
- select wallpapers
- far left icon select pick image
- select image from where you saved it
That doesn't work. I've run into this problem were I can't set a wallpaper. Neither going to photos or gallery and selecting it, or long pressing the home screen doesn't work. It just stays black.
I fixed it, I think, by going into the theme engine and choosing another theme, and making sure that the wallpaper box is checked. That got it working for me.

As everyone knows Samsung Theme store has so many good looking themes but u people may hate the icons ....Here is simple way apply any themes with to make Stock icons No root required.... Just need to install free app from play store 100% working.
1. First install the app "Super Back up" attached is the app screenshot
2. Install any theme from theme store Ex:- I installed chalk .ui theme
Go open the app super back up click on apps scroll down and search installed app called " binodray.chalkui.com.appicon" and long press on the pop-up will open with options select uninstall Same way for all apps with ending. .Appicon then restart your device apply working for theme free and paid theme both will work

The theme I'm using doesn't have anything related to icons to uninstall but thanks for the post, I'm sure it'll be handy next time I switch themes
If I apply theme with no stock icons then i go to theme apps, "icons" and tap apply stock icons. That's all and i have new theme with stock icons unless I don't understand something.
I have a Samsung galaxy S6 with nougat official rom installed, rooted. and i have installed this theme called Gear from the Samsung Theme store and in the notifications section the quick setting buttons are not applying. Can some one please install this theme and let me know if you can get it to work. to apply this theme go to Samsung themes then go to the themes section then if you dont scroll you will see the options called "top" if you scroll down the options goes away, after you click on "top" select Paid and then you will see a theme called Gear (Premium Live) select that theme and choose trial and then apply it and see if your quick setting changes.

nvm i spoke with the people who made the theme they said Samsung have removed the option to modify those buttons in the new versions

Hi guys so I've searched for themes online which enable you to have round stock icons. I haven't found anything of good quality so I decided to give it a go and edit one of the built in themes on Honor Play. With luck not only was I able to change every icon to round (Photos Above, only on big Icons!) using only the stock icons but accidently managed to make a theme that adds another feature, which is to make any other icon which is not round into a round icon (almost) and makes your icons look so much better! I kept everything else stock I hope you like the theme! All the adaptive Icons for calendar and weather have also been changed while still fully fictional. The only icons I did not keep stock were the Music, Themes, and the Audio icon as I found better looking ones. The lock screen has no wallpaper set as I have left it on Magazine unlock to make it easy for those of you who like to use that feature. I do apologize if I have made any mistakes during this post this is quite literally my first ever post.
The link to the .hwt file is below. This theme will work on any Honor or Huawei phone but was initially created for Honor Play EMUI 9.
The instructions to install once downloaded are Copy File into Internal Storage > Huawei > Themes > and paste into this folder > Restart Phone > Open the themes app > Me > My Themes > You should see the theme for selection so like any other theme Apply and enjoy!

Only on big Icons theme will all the non round icons be forced to be round. Try it and let me know! Check my screenshot below!

Yes I know! Read what I have said if you want adaptive round icons you need to use the big Icons. I showed you Microsoft app icons because they don't support round icons yet in my theme they are round. On small Icons theme only the main apps will be round! So download the big Icons you will see every single app in your drawer will be round including your apps mentioned above.

Is there a place to download themes for the oppo?
ones that include change in the background of the notification bar etc?
I can see a theme section in settings and it says downloaded themes. Though not where to download them from

I put some themes (that found on the Oppo Find X section) manually in the "Themes" folder on the internal memory but no success, they didn't appears on the themes settings in the phone. It looks like there's no official Theme Store like for the previous Oppo Phones.... don't know why they removed it
There was definitely a theme store for the Australian versions of the phone it's called mytap theme store it also has a magazine lock with different wallpapers on the lock screen but since downloading euro firmware that all disappeared which is weird.

was that just wallpapers and icons? or did it change the Notification bar background etc?
It's strange that the Settings background is a nice flat black. Though the notification background is an ugly grey.

Yeah it was just icons and wallpapers. You can't change the notification panel.
It's not that bad though
