Volte patch required- reliance jio problem after marshmallow update
The problem started to happen AFTER update 6 AND 7 . Phone is workings perfectly fine with voLTE sim
but call cracking net speed up and down and signal goes and come infrequently
but after every 30 min the signal goes and we need to switch off and switch on the sim tab to get the signal again. The problem is only only with volte sim
AND IT CONFIRMED FROM JIO TECHNICAL TEAM
SOLUTION IS FOTA PATCH UPDATE AND IT IS NOT READY IN MOTOROLA SO NEW ANDROID VERSION IS DELAYED ON OTA
SO WAIT TILL FOR FOTA UPDATE THEN WE GET NEXT ANDROIED 7 OR 7.1 UPDATE

Try wiping the device from recovery.
I have Xperia Z1 Compact and I can't make any call and can't receive incoming call with Jio sim. I have also contacted Jio care they tell me to update FOTA software, but I don't think there is nothing to update when my device is shows up to date and not any other update released in our country. Jio care misleading us.

Download the jio phone app maybe ? Also Sony is to be blamed for this. They have a rep for abandoning phones as it is

Is VoLTE not available in BLN-21C185B361? this is the Middle Eastern regional firmware and the latest available (Since I purchased from UAE), I really need help because the Jio Help Service keeps asking me to enable VoLTE Calls option in Mobile Network>VoLTE Calls, when I just don't have it available! This is terrible because I also can't make any calls.

Jio will most probably support on Indian variant and not others. Seems they have different bands in UAE and may not be supporting the jio volte

I think you will need to rebrand to the Indian variant.

You can debrand it to Indian version to have Jio fully supported but it may not be fully functional as it will be international roaming then as Jio will latch to the local network there.

Only way to get jio volte working is via rebranding. But for that you need unlock code which you may not have and need to pay and try. Debranding guide is given in my signature

If you do not have the code, you may be out of luck or else can try getting it from paid services like dc unlocker, hcu client or Chimera tool.
Just received March security update last night. It brought the current version to PPW29.69-39-1. This was for XT1900-1 Android One on Google Fi.

Did you do something extra, for me Airtel VoLTE is not working in Moto X4, Jio VoLTE is working, but with the same sim, Airtel VoLTE is working in other mobiles? I tried contacting both Motorola as well as Airtel Customer care with no solution.

I don't know about stock but we managed to bring volte on custom rom
Whee, yet another OTA that won't take. That's 2 of the last 3 for me (the ~5 before that were all perfect). Guess I get to sideload again when it's available.

VoLTE does not work only in roaming. It works when the network is not roaming.

Will side loading an OTA keep all the partitions data intact? I'm still running the January update and avoiding the notification like the plauge lol

I have enabled wifi calling option on my Op7 which is running on latest version 10.3.2 .
I am from India and using an airtel sim.
When i connect to the wifi, vowifi icon is not appearing in the status bar and wifi calling feature is not working at all.
Is there anyone facing the same problem?
Is there anything i have to do to make this feature work?

If you have Installed it correctly and you're running the latest OxygenOS but it doesn't work,make sure your Network carrier supports it ....you can contact and ask them
(yes,many users have the same problem in different countries)

Yea i have a carrier which supports vowifi(JIO 4G) as well as the latest updates installed but i still cant manage to get vowifi working. I tried changing the dns of my router and several other teoubleshooting but none of them seems to work. Some people say port forwarding might make it work but i havent tried it yet.
My carrier supports volte and vowifi but not for our device (OnePlus 7) but with this guide i have both volte and vowifi working

But when i connect to a wif hotspot of another phone, the vowifi icon appears on the status bar. The problem might be with the wifi settings of the router or the ISP not necessarily the phone.
