I prefer a very minimalist lock screen, and the stock S6's lock screen clock ruins that. Is there anyway to hide/remove/make the clock invisible?
My S6 is rooted with xposed framework, so whether it is by editing files such as the system.ui (I'd need instructions) or another way (eg. app or xposed module) I'd be open to any suggestions.
Before it is suggested, the "[APP][Xposed][L-M] Lock screen clock mods [20/Feb/2016]" xposed module does not work with Samsungs.
Research has been done, and no viable options have been found yet.

You can remove it if you use Good Lock. With the stock System UI however, I'm not sure.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to have the Dashclock widget (or something similar) on the lockscreen with details visible while still having the unlock icon ready to unlock the device. I'll elaborate a little just in case the previous doesn't make much sense...
So I'm currently running CM 11 on my N5 and under Settings>Lock screen there's an option called "Maximize widgets" which expands your lockscreen widgets but minimizes your unlock icon. Since the icon is minimized, you need to tap on it to bring it back up (while simultaneously minimizing Dashclock for example), then tap again and drag to unlock your phone. Is there any ROM, application, or maybe Xposed Installer module that allows lockscreen widgets to remain maximized while keeping the unlock icon from requiring two steps?
note: I'm currently using the quick launch shortcuts with one of them set as my Google Now Launcher but that returns me to my home screen every time I unlock my phone..
Check out lockerpro or sliderlock app... Same Dev... Or a ROM that has built in lock screen notifications (which almost do)... Another alternative would be active display within Roms or maybe acdisplay app

Hi all, I have a specific widget that I would like to have on my lockscreen. Unfortunately the developer has not made it to work on lockscreens. I have seen some custom roms allow the use of any widget on the lockscreen so I believe it is possible. I'm currently running VRUCML1_Stock_Root_Deodex_Aroma by old& slow
Also running the Samsung multiple widgets xposed module. Any ideas, other xposed modules, apps that will let me add the widget?

Two different widgets on one panel without having to scroll to the next one? No, not for stock lock screen. Not sure about Xposed, but I'm pretty sure there's not. Not unless Gravity Box maybe, but I don't use it so I can't say for sure. You could always try downloading an alternate lock screen app from play store.
Currently there's nothing like this for the stock lock screen. But you can use 3rd party apps like widget locker to get it.
I tried both GravityBox lockscreen mod and the Lockscreen Mod xposed modules and neither of them work or display the 6 additional shortcuts, has anybody gotten this to work on our Stylo, or are there any other lockscreen mods I don't know about? I want the six extra shortcuts.
I enabled it added the desired shortcuts but don't see it taking affect yet. Just wanna spice up my lockscreen, without installing a new lockscreen.
Yeah the lock screen on this phone seems to be LG proprietary not AOSP, same with power menu. You aren't gonna get those AOSP mods to work. I use CM Locker along with CM Launcher. They have very small footprints (less RAM than the default home & lockscreen even) and have better features I think.

I'll pass on Cheetah Mobile a Chinese/Asian developer who is infamously known for sniffing out and leaking Asia's users personal info, sure it's not happening or reported here in America but who is to say they aren't doing the same dirty business with those users info.
So I can't seem to find anywhere if there's a way to put custom notifications on the lockscreen. I just switched from S5 on KitKat to the S7 Edge on MM and I'm trying to set it up to my liking, but it seems like so many things are missing from it.
I don't like the Good Lock app it looks bad to me. I had Chronus widgets setup on my lockscreen and I like to scroll to access more widgets as well. I think there was a tweak from Xposed to enable that on the S5 and then the setting was available in the Lockscreen settings, however now I can't find a way.
Is MM that locked down? Is there any way to get custom widgets on the Lockscreen at all??
You are going to try some 3rd party lockscreen apps. For example C Locker or WidgetLocker.
