Multiuser issue on android TV (rooted) - XDA Assist

Hi, i have been trying to deal with an issue I've been having on my new A95x android tv, i tried fixing this myself but have been unsuccessful and decided to turn to the wizerds of XDA.
The device I'm having this issue with is my android A95x TV box, the second generation with 2GB of RAM and 8GB eemc running marshmallow (6.0.1).
The device is rooted right out of the box.
The device is also using it's latest factory rom and firmware.
The issue:
I'm unable to access developer options due to an error saying "No developer options for this user"
To make things even harder when i spam click the build number option under about TV, nothing happens. No error, no message, nothing.
I've tried:
- Factory resetting data from recovery
- Wiping the cache partition in recovery
Can anyone help me fix this issue?
Thanks!

led telechips 8902 (arm11) android ss

Hi ya
I'm new to this and need a little help. I've been given a non-branded android tablet, when i connect it to my pc it is showing up as a android eclair, and within the settings of the android it's is listed as a android s22... The issue i'm having is that i want to factory restore the device but this keeps failing when i try via the privacy option, i choose the factory restore and erase everything and as soon as i select this the device shuts itself off ... and when i restart it, it just loads up as normal with the settings still in place... the firmware version is 2.2 , kernel version is 2.632.9#344 and the build number is ver2.20128.20101213-162053 ...
So i would really appreciate any advice on how I can factory restore this device....

'Type password to decrypt storage' PROBLEM! (Moto G XT1032)

Hello everyone,
Today I (tried to) flash a new custom ROM on my falcon.
This wasn't the first time I flashed a custom ROM, but this time it went wrong.
To start with, I accidently took a Android 4.4.2 custom ROM (link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2756571 v.0.3), but using a Android 5.x bootloader.
It flashed correctly and also booted just fine, until I got a message stating that I should enter a password to decrypt storage. My previous custom ROM was Paranoid Android 5.1 and I indeed encrypted my storage (something that I will never do again), but if I insert the password used in Paranoid Android it says 'try again'.
I searched xda-developers and some said to delete cache and user data, so that is what I did (using Cyanogen Recovery).
But deleting user data and clearing the cache didn't work. I now no longer have USB-debugging enabled and my laptop is not recognizing my phone.
I also tried ADB, but it isn't recognizing it etc.
After like 4 hours of trying and looking at forums, I am getting hopeless.
Anyone encountered this problem too (and solved it perhaps)?
I would be really greatful to get my phone working again, I have downloaded the previous ROM I had on my laptop, so I can flash it on phone once I have a solution.
For now, texting on a stone-age Samsung phone without WiFi or touch So I need help ASAP
Thanks!
Feronium
Does the pc recognize the device while in fastboot?

[Completed] Help Fixing Bricked Rockchip Tablet

I have a Proscan PLT7650G tablet it came installed with Android 5.1.1. It is running a RK3126 SoC. I had rooted it with Kingroot and then switched to SuperSU. I then tried to install Xposed framework for Lollipop using the Flashify app. The tablet rebooted and when I got to the login screen it had a message box "Stresstest for 5.0 has stopped running". When I hit OK another comes up that says "The process com.android.phone has stopped running". I hit OK and the previous message box comes up. This continues for as long as I keep pressing OK. Sometimes it also says that the System UI has stopped running. I cannot access any of the OS. I eventually tried to run the factory reset from recovery, and the same issue persisted. I assume this is because of the system partition being modified. I have backups of all the partitions made using the Rockchip Android tool. I tried to flash the tablet with the tool and it says Test device fail, or download fail. I have also tried to flash with Rockchip batch tool with firmware I thought may be compatible, and it gave me a similar message.
I didn't install custom recovery, but I can still access stock recovery, and can still get to the error messages after boot. I don't have USB development enabled, and fastboot doesn't recognize my bootloader.
Any help you can recommend will be extremely appreciated. I have spent the past week trying to get this thing running. I am very sorry if there is a similar thread posted somewhere or if it is a stupidly easy fix. I also apologize if this is posted in the wrong spot. I am new to forums in general.
I have very limited internet access, so it may take me several days to respond to any posts.
A HUGE thanks to anyone who can help me.

[Completed] CM Omega HD 2.0 Encryption Unsuccessful

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
My device is Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 (MT6589)
So here's my story:
I was texting while a message saying "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped". I rebooted my device and what greeted me is a long message about Encryption Unsuccessful and a button for resetting my phone. I've never enabled encryption on my device. I tried tapping the button but nothing happens. I booted into recovery mode to factory reset but when I try, an error saying "Mount /data error" is all I get.
I tried searching online for a possible fix but I couldn't find anything! I'm trying to flash the stock rom on my device (I was running on stock rom when this happened. Yes, I'm rooted) but the pc doesn't seem to recognize my phone. I have a preload driver but it still won't recognize my device!
It still boots up until the encryption unsuccessful message and it still charges.
At this point, I'm already pretty desperate. :crying: I hope anyone could help or give suggestions! Oh, and if anyone could give me an idea on how could this have had happen to my device it would be very helpful. (I might have deleted some files on the internal storage and might be the cause but I did that maybe 3-4 days after this happened.)
Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for using XDA assist.
It looks like there is no dedicated forum for your device, however
There is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can try to ask to get expert's help.
Good luck

Help needed with bootloop

Hello there !
Friend of mine gave me a tablet, which freezes on a MEDIATEK logo.
There is no information about model, the owner sends me via viber some images of a web site with useless information, i don't know if it is true.
The info is: CPU MTK 6796 10 Core, ram 6 gb, rom 128 gb, OS:Android 8.0, res. 2560*1600 pixel, etc...
I can enter into recovery mode, it says ALPS.KK1.MP1.V2.10.
there is options apply update from ADB, sdcard, etc...
I have tried wiping and factory reset, apply update from sdcard too, but no success (adb returns error message, go to update systems and after that immediately something wrong and error message).
Can anyone help ?
Re-flash tablet's Stock ROM.
I don't have any ROM, this is why I am searching help
Request it from manufacturer if you can't find it in Internet.
This is the problem - I don't know any information about the tablet, no manufacturer, no model.
Is there any custom ROM I can use or only PRELOADER fix ?
Maybe you can get more information by getting the vendors (boot)-image and peeking inside it; if you can get inside fastboot-mode.
You can get it by "fastboot fetch vendor_boot <out.img>""
Then do the mapping (http://www.microhowto.info/howto/mount_a_partition_located_inside_a_file_or_logical_volume.html) and mounting it.
