Hi guys, i was using a stock samsung galaxy S2 android and moved into something brilliant and way better ( Pure ICS ROM)
there is only 1 thing i miss from the touchwiz Galaxy s2, and it is the notification icon that you get when an SMS is received or when a phone call is received and you miss it.
I am talking about the red circle that popups on the lockscreen on stock samsung galaxy S2 for unread SMS and missed calls.
I would like to know if there is an app or apk that could bring that SMS/phone notification icon on the lockscreen once again. That was way nice to see if i missed a call clicking just 1 button.
The only thing that came close to that is an app called notifier pro plus, that creates a banner on the lockscreen, but it has some flaws, because sometimes you are using web browser and doing other things and the banner popups not only on the lockscreen but everywhere

In ICS, the notification bar can be pulled down on the lockscreen, so you don't need them to show on the lockscreen. Just pull down your notifications.

I have been searching around for a solution of the above question myself, and found that everyone keeps saying to use the notification bar etc - not really helpful, and doesn't answer the question
I found a free lock screen app called 91Locker which will display a notification for unread messages and missed calls on the lock screen, plus a few other nifty features
Hope this helps anyone else that comes this issue

Been using s2 for 2 weeks. Loving it and it's all good until recently..
My whatsapp notifications on the watch changed.
Previously u can see whatsapp sender photo as background. And there are options to reply.. But now all I see is a dark whatsapp logo as background with the received msg and there are No reply options anymore..only have *show on phone* block* clear all*
Anybosy experienced this. I suspect it could be the recent whatsapp update BECAUSE LINE seems to work perfectly.

As the title says, I'm unable to get previews to messages on my Gear 2 anymore. I used to have a Note 3 which worked perfectly with it, all apps displayed a brief preview when the notification pops up on screen of who messaged me / what was said. Since I've upgraded to the Note 5, I was initially only able to get the previews on things like Instagram posts and Facebook notifications / messages, and only on the stock messaging app. In the last couple of days I've had nothing but the stock messaging app work with previews - everything else is just an empty notification.
I've tried resetting the Gear, uninstalling and reinstalling the Gear Manager app, leaving all settings as default, removing phone lock, enabling and disabling preview settings on both phone and watch... nothing has worked.
Has anybody else had issues similar to this? Could it have something to do with upgrading to Lollipop? Any help would be greatly appreciated

After 7 years of using iPhone I've decided to switch to android. I'm really missing one function:
On the iphone when I reject a call (when I'm working) I get notification at the lock screen and icon badge which was really useful. Is there a chance to make Galaxy S6 showing rejected calls the same way?

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus, S21 ultra, Note 20 ultra, A51 some of the devices my family own have problem with missed calls notifications....
When you have a missed call sometimes (not always about 4 to 10 times) there isn't any notification on locksceen or AOD.... You must unlock the device to see notification
This start with ONE UI 3.0 and continues to ONE UI 3.1 to all the devices above with diferent set up without any "anti-virus", cleaner or led notification 3rd party apps...
All permissions and notifications are enable to all samsung stock apps refer to phone apk.....
I have same problem as you....dont have any solution 'till today.
