I don't know how frequently I'll update this, it depends on the free time I have.
DUAL SIM DEVICES ARE NOT SUPPORTED FOR NOW due to some proprietary things which I don't know how to handle properly now and I don't know if I will add the support in the future.
Yes, a decent browser is missing, I'll add back the M one in the future.
From now I'll probably focus more on CM than this.
Tips
Go to SystemUI Tuner -> Other -> Show restart in global actions menu to enable "Reboot" button in the power menu (this is a port of Sony's attempt to add the Reboot button to AOSP)
Night mode and navigation bar customizations are shown by default
Working
Boots
RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
Wifi
Bluetooth
Camera
Video Playback
Not Working/Bugs
Camcorder (tip: it works on Google Camera after setting video quality to 720p)
HDR (tip: it works on Moto Camera)
Permissive SELinux
Installation
Requires Unlocked Bootloader & a custom recovery
Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD
Reboot in Bootloader Mode
Go to "Recovery" (Vol +/Vol -) and confirm (power)

Sorry :silly:
Wow, now that was kick, awesome. The only let down for me in order to install this rom, is the SElinux mode, because enforcing doesn't allow for custom Sound tweaks like Viper or Dolby Atmos.
EDIT: For some reason, Quick settings isn't working, it only draws the first bar. I'll post a SS as soon as I can.
Home button and Task Manager Button aren't working either.
@Alberto97 bon voyage for a new journey. Let's start. :fingercrossed:
Everything works, good job.
Google Play services is constantly crash. Perhaps the problem in opengapss.
I think home and recent button not working but my device is dual sim so I can't say more about that functions other like call, data.
Thank you @Alberto97.
@DigitalSJC you can install Arise sound mod which has viper4a sound mod and it doesn't need selinux permissive. For me it worked flawlessly on this rom.
I'm going to try it.
EDIT: Okay, now I have my phone working, but I didn't delete the archive because if I do it, I cant use the phone...
Congratulations @Alberto97, I'm going to use your ROM as a daily drive

Awesome! will flash as soon as I get home
@Alberto97
Do you think it's possible to activate navigation bar setting to the SystemUI Tuner?

But motog3 is a dual sim device, that means only one sim can be activated? Confused. Downloading now.

Yeah it works with LTE speed on single sim. Also @vicky thank you, Arise works flawlessly now.
I'm reinstallig the ROM with another set of gaps, I hope that fixes the notification problem.
EDIT: Flashing the set "Stock Gaps" Worked succefully, now I have it working fully, I'm amazed on how notable the change is since MM, wasn't expecting that much.

Hi All,
I've been working on a AOSP-CAF version for Falcon. This is started from kernel and device tree by CyanogenMod so thanks a lot to them for the bringup. I've just modified it to work with AOSP. This is pure AOSP and no more features will be added, so kindly Don't request it.
This version is nearly stable. DUAL SIM works .Still, Flash this at your own risk.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

*/
For now almost everything is working,
Working
Almost everything
Not working
You tell me with logcats & Ksmg.
Known bugs
Bluetooth Pairings Fixed!
Music skipping issue Fixed!
system app backups don't restore with tibu (but userdata ones restore perfectly)

How to install ?
Place ROM,Gapps and SuperSU in your SD Card/Internal Memory
Reboot into recovery mode
Wipe cache/dalvikcache/system/data
Flash ROM/SuperSU/Gapps
Reboot
If u find any issue with gapps then don't flash gapps immediately after rom. Flash ROM then reboot recovery and flash gapps

Is rom prerooted?
- Flash SuperSU v2.52 for now. Will be prerooted from next release
Can you add blah blah app or blah blah feature to the rom?
-No, not at all.

When you skip songs fast, from 3rd or 4th song onwards, they don't play automatically on skipping
But when you drag the progress bar to somewhere to the middle of the song, it plays flawlessly.
With other 3rd party music apps, that's the same issue. We are looking for fix
Awesome work @Flashhhh
I've done a video to show to my friends but I decided to share it here if someone wants to see how it is before flashing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCPpkDMdzTM
I don't make any advertising beacuse as you can see I don't plan to make a YouTube channel any soon.
Guys, If I listen to Apple Music I don't have any problem with the audio
@Flashhhh: Nice work, mate! Its always good to see one more rom. Especially aosp (i've been waiting a long time for a stable 6.0.x rom for our device - aosparadox doesn't count!).
But since this rom is caf-based, do cm custom kernels even boot?
I'm not able to use gapps... I followed the instructions of the OP: flashed rom, rebooted, then flashed gapps. But everything I get is "Unfortunately Setup Wizard has stopped" and "Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped".
EDIT: Slim gapps work fine. Open gapps don't work for me.

What is this AOSPB I keep hearing about?
AOSP is Google's vision of Android. AOSPB is a ROM developer's vision of a strong base to build upon.
I am sharing this only because it feels amazing to use something as bare as this. I'd in fact take a step further and call this as close we get to a stock Marshmallow ROM.
DO NOT MAKE ANY FEATURE REQUESTS. NOTHING ELSE IS GOING TO BE ADDED. (Except for some optimizations in the future)

There's absolutely nothing in this rom for which a screenshot will be required. It's all stock
Amazing ROM! The only thing I think could be added is a file manager, as I have been trying an experiment on seeing how feasible it is for me to go without Gapps and some people might like it, but by no means am I saying add it due to this being as pure of a MM rom as can be. I did manage to sideload one so it isn't too much of an issue Anyone with the Boost Mobile/Republic Wireless xt1031: do not download this, it will say No SIM. Not an issue for me since it's my mess around backup phone Keep up the great work!
I was wondering about something... The cellular network force close was solved a relatively long time ago in CM-based ROMS, right? So the fix does exist, or am I missing something here?

yah...
cons:
1. booting takes loooooonng.
2. FM missing, or not included.
3. SU not implemented.
4. Messaging missing, or not implemented.
5. No extra controls or useful tweaks implemented.
Pros:
1. Stable
2. Smooth, lagfree.
3. Promising, lol
liked it, but as this is alpha, it's too far for daily driver use.
thanks to @Aayushya for developing for falcon.
Clean flashed the Rom with OpenGapps and SU2.65, everything is golden except screen rotation is not working even though I have enabled it in QS and Settings->Assessibility. Anyone else experiencing it as well?
Thanks to @Aayushya for this fantastic rom.
No auto-rotation here too.
Excellent rom.
This ROM works great :good:, little battery consumption. The problems of rotation and automatic brightness are not so serious to me. I've used other rom with 6.0.1 and this is really liked.
I'll be waiting for an update, thanks for the ROM.
Sorry for my bad english.
layers with multiple color combo like magpie, peeaf etc not working....i meant to say only base colors are applied even though i choose some other primary color or accent color......same prblm was der in the orion os's first build for falcon from the aospb base.....i hope it will be rectified in next build apart from that, the rom is pretty smooth...
AOSPA 6.0.1 for the Xperia Z2 Tablet!

Thank you very much for this. I just flashed it and its working well so far on my castor windy. Awesome that the front and rear cameras are working! I couldn't root it with the trusty 2.46 SU binary. Ill try a newer one shortly.
Any success with a newer SU binary.
I also would test this ROM but for met an existing root access is absolutely needed!
Tested the ROM,
SIM card is not working / not recognized
I flashed first Stock-ROM and then wiped all and flashed the ROM for CASTOR LTE. ROM itself works, but claims "missing SIM card"
Has everyone tested a CASTOR tablet?

Yup, can confirm.
No SIM card detected. Everything else is working fine Tapatalk
Edit:
Scratch that. Vibration isn't working, either.
There seems to be missing some hardware drivers. I think they compile the version for the Castor, but have no Tablet to test it out ?
Maybe @rcstar6696 can help?

ATM I am using his ROM
all is working perfectly, but AOSP is very "original" and I am missing some features like CM12 like Battery in %, customizable fast access switches etc.

I can confirm that we (I) have a castor device to build and test on. The modem blobs were missed from the build as they were not present in the used vendor. They have now been added and will be present next build.

This is AOSPA not AOSP.
Battery % is in settings > battery > battery icon/three dots
Customisable buttons is not a feature on the Nexus/AOSP branch

He was referring to the AOSP ROM over in Android Development by rcstar.
Not one to ask for ETAs, but will the next build only be next/end of the month or will there be a release in between? Can't wait.
Just wanted to report back with the new build:
Everything is working perfectly now. Thank you so much for this ROM! First time using PA since years ago and it's still amazing.
Sent from my Xperia Z2 Tablet (AOSPA) using Tapatalk
Tested it also with last build from 9. August 2016. LTE works fine
Which working SuperSu/Superuser do You use?
And how about activating "Developer Options" for enabling USB debugging?

Thanks for the report about LTE.
For SuperSU I flash the latest zip from cahianfire on my castor_windy. For Dev Options keep tapping the Build Number in About Device.
Yesterday a longer test with the Tablet.
I made serveral longer connects with LTE and OpenVPN, also tested NCP VPN client over LTE.
All was running fine and I found no bigger items in between.
Only gReader crashes time to time, but can be a problem with the app itself
I am using the build #3 as may daily driver for now.
Are there any known problems with the build? Changelog?
paranoid is using cmte or substratum now?

unfortunately CMTE ...
Comment for the LTE:
LTE itself works without problem, but International Data Roaming does not work???
In the EU-countries the Tablet connects to the roaming partner, the APN is set correctly but I get no data connection ??? Any hints?
The same SIM-Card in another device works flawlessly!
recovery
Hope it's ok to ask here, but those of you with the Z2 Castor-Windy (WiFi only) tablet, what method did you use to get recovery (or root if needed) so you could install this ROM? thanks.

Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of Substratum Themes
What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is OMS?
OMS (Overlay Manager Service) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,OMS is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!
