Are they the same when it comes to flashing roms? I am not sure exactly but I am under the impression that one is just a dual sim model. I have been on here every day keeping my eyes open for roms. I have the FRD-L04 model. white 32gb single sim. I got it at an amazing deal so I couldnt pass it up.
according to @Mostar088 here are the differences:
Frd-l09 32gb eu version
frd-l19 64gb eu version
frd-l04 32gb us Version
Frd-al00 China version
When buying a phone designed for a different continent - double check the supported frequencies/bands...
You could regret it when you only have mediocre support for the mobile bands used at your location...

L09 and L19 are dual sim L04 singel sim.

I wonder if u can activate dual sim function on L04 if you flash L09 firmware on it? I know it was possible on P8 Lite and P9 Lite if u crossflash. I dont know if the hardware is the same on L04 and L09?

I had the P8 lite us version and it was dual sim out of the box. I can't believe they are even shipping a single sim unit to the US. Absolute deal breaker for me.
I checked the user guide of L-04 and it says Dual-Sim, can someone verify?

Should be getting mine tomorrow... Insane the amount of misinformation around the 'net, I've seen official Honor support claim the U.S. version (L04) is both single and dual sim. Most reviews refer to it as dual-sim as well...
No dual-sim capability. Not sure why there is such confusion (some legit sources say it supports dual sim).
well i never checked mine, but my FRD-L04 has only one sim toolkit app installed, while my previous honor 7 PLK-L01 had two sim toolkit apps
so i guess it"s a single sim phone
gonna bump...I understand the FRD-L04 is the US version of the Honor 8....that means it will come pre-installed with all the google apps and google play services, etc? I am buying for a friend, and he isn't too phone savvy... thank you.

It's worth, my previous phone was LG G3 32GB, and i don't miss it, battery life is superb on mate7, display is bigger, like finger scanner unlock, phone is fluid, and only missing infrared.

Soooo I received Mate 7 and it is MT7-L09
I think seller thought there are two slots it is dual but second slot is for SD card .. so yes it is EU version NICE

I went to that website it shows a 64gb version I thought there was only 16gb and 64gb
Is the AM7 mt7-tl10 available for UK owners also does it contain Google apps also how do you know if it's 32gb because it doesn't mention it on the box
US LTE Info Extremely Murky
This device comes in 5 flavors - US Info on the 16 gb version is more clear than the 32 gb version then again what 32 gb version cause there's 3 or more of them - Incredibly frustrating - I have ordered and now in the process of canceling the order - I'll wait for something state side.
Speaking of which I have also not liked the 4GB version phone from Asus - because it's battery life really sucked - really really really sucked compared to the Ascend Mate 2 which I am using now - the battery life has ruined me for any other phones.

if you have the MT7-TL10 international version, then YES, it have dual-sim capability, but if you have the MT7-L09 international version, then NO, this one is single-sim only
Hi, can someone help, cant find anywhere Honor 8 FRD-L19C432B101 full firmware or B120 full firmware, is the stock firmware B101 even available?. Also how to relock Honor 8 bootloader, i keep getting error "root type is risk" why is that?.

Just tried it today, but it just finds FRD-L19C432B130 firmware and that is for US and FRD-L19C432B120 which is latest ota version for this model, so no luck with that tool.

L19C432 is EU version L04 is US i have install L19C432 on my L09C432 with no problem. And now i have L09C432B130 on my phone.
EU cust is C432
EU is L09 32gb L19 64gb
US is L04 32gb L14 64gb

At the bottom of page change Region to US and u will find it. Only L04 US version for download.
U can find L09 EU version here.

No you can't.

L09 is for single SIM phones whereas you have an L29, a dual SIM phone so attempting to swap things wouldn't be a good idea.
