I am trying to add 3g on dual sim fuctionality to the custom...rom... !! So far i know where the changes are to be done.....
those are in settings.apk , phone.apk and few telephony smali files in framework.jar or telephony-common.jar...!!
I have done the chages reqd n settings and phone.apk..!!
But i am not sure abt the specific telephony files from framework.jar or telephony-common.jar...!!!
So, please anyone can help me with those telephony files....................? i need to know the specific files related to 3g...................

I'm a new member in this great forum hop to get some help from you about some issues.
I am trying to modify the language files in the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android v5.0.0 in order to make its ROM support Arabic language by adding another "values" folder with its string file.
I went ahead with all the system apps except of "SecContacts_Phone_FLAGSHIP_USA.apk" with its "framework.apk".
After I had finished modifying the language files I couldn't recompile it. It shows me some errors. Except if I didn't modify anything!!
I used "APKtool 2.0.0 RC4" and "APK multi tool" for compiling
please check the attachments ...

hello XDA it feels so good to be finally part of the family.....
Now i have been following XDA for a while now.....everything i know ive learnt i got from here and i appriciate it a lot so thanks.
I have a mt6572 S6 clone that i bought for developing practise....ive been trying to mod status bar....
i can now properly decompile and recompile apk and jar files, but I have a problem my mtk device policy.jar doesnt have classes dex, only have METAINF file....so how do i mod it if I cant find smali files I have the same problem with system ui apk, no smali files
the phone runs on aosp rom, rooted. I'd really appreciate the help.

im new in xda sorry if i posted in the wrong forum or with the wrong title
i have the samsung theme editor i have made my own theme for my Lollipop 5.1.1 phone but when i try to apply theme to my device via adb it fails with the error message: device not supported...
however i tried to extract the theme as apk and install it i extracted moved it to my sdcard but when i install it as apk it dosen't show in the themes settings (i don't have the theme store just the old theme chooser)
please help ! :silly:
note: if you can make the apk work pls contact me i will upload it for you
