Hello.
I have a tablet Asus TF700T. I have uploaded it Android 6.0 and all nicely worked only at night began to restart - bootloop stands on a log Asus 1 minute and restart and continue standing. I tried to enter TWRP because he had loaded and the same, entered into fastboot and I have uploaded new and without rebooting launched himself but could not mount any partition when I Flash android 6.0 or so at first it was only after the reboot mounting partitions, but in this case after the restart and entering the TWRP TWRP stands for the string with a minute and restrat, other recovery is the same. I went again and I gave in Fastboot fastboot erase system cache recovery, the date - I know that the date did not go, and now I have uploaded TWRP tablet does not enter at all into Fastboot. After turning himself enter into TWRP only that stands as before for string TWRP a minute and restart again and the same thing. The bootloader is unlocked. Originally it was on Android 4.2.1. After the combination POWER + VOL tablet enters the APX. But I do not have copies of the files and blob nvflash do not know if you can do something.
Is it possible to have it repaired, or is just replace the motherboard.

Hi there,
I need your help urgently.
I received a brand new TF700T and did make it work to support root.
I also did unlock the bootrom protection.
When I tried to install a custom ROM manager (Clockwork Mod) image from:here
The device didn't want to start any more - showing message:
The Device ist Unlocked.
Android cardhu-user bootloader <2.10 e> released by "TW_epad-9.4.5.22-20120615" A03
Checking for android ota recovery
Booting recovery kernel image
But nothing happens anymore (
I can wait for the battery to run empty in this mode.
There' no chance to boot from Micro SD.
The only thing what works at the moment is to connect the device via APX drivers.
I tried to communicate with device via NVFLASH tool
But when trying this - I get the message:
Nvflash started
Unknown Device found
Does any one have an idea where to find appropriate drivers for Nvflash?
Or the parameters to match TF700T?
Thanks in advance!
if you are able to access APX then you still have hope, first of all you need to push custom recovery like TWRP via fastboot mode and then install custom ROM. Most likelly you were to lazy to read a lot information on this forum how to install stuff properlly.
EDIT: if Tf700t has pin hole you should turn it off despite waiting for it to discharge...

I did already read a lot - for hours and nights.
But my main problem is: UNKNOWN DEVICE
What does TWRP mean? How do I get fastboot to work?
I'm even not allowed to enter recovery mode.
The device is just recognized as an APX -device...
I can't push or download any custom ROM since I can't communicate with the device in both directions...
For those who messed up really bad and can't boot but are unlocked.
EDIT: I didn't see that you are not unlocked. then you should Power on + volume down, wait, see two icons select wipe, pray to god it helped or not. And if it doesn't boot and you are not unlocked last thing to do is RMA.
You are not allowed to enter recovery because you have stock one with droid dead and red triangle I guess. This is TWRP site and all instructions are here TWRP - Team Win Recovery Project is alternative to ClockworkMod Recovery but better. to get to fast boot turn on your tab holding power on + volume down and then do nothing while it asks to pres up. if you are unlocked you will see 3 icons select usb drive icon. FASTBOOT mode. now follow instructions from TWRP site. after that youl need custom rom zip. if recovery instaled successfuly and you can get into it you'll need to put custom ro into microSD or if you can into internal storage. if you can't conect to pc via cable and start cmd if Windows or terminal if Linux or mac. type
Code:
adb shell
mount /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /data/media
you will be able to access microSD via recovery (unless it is different than Prime tf201 you will need different command, but give it a try)

Thanks for advise - BUT
I have no choice like selecting Fastboot or USB etc. with volume buttons.
These options unfortunately do not come up anymore.
My device is definetly unlocked. It shows up "Device unlocked" when trying to boot normally.
When trying to go to recovery, with Volume - hold, the device tries to launch to recovery but hangs in status:
Device is Unlocked
Android cardhu-user bootloader (2.10 e) released by "TW_epad-9.4.5.22-20120615" A03

Booting recovery kernel.
I have NO option to go to fastboot! Only way will be APX but nvflas always tell me unknown device.
So I was looking for any other version of nvflash.
In other forum I did find hint for nvflash ICS but didn't find right version yet.
If I only could get communication via APX worked to my device, then I could send data via nvflash and APX...
I assume you can't even go to rom as it bootloops on EEE pad screen not on rom splash screen
1. Did you try Wipe option in (power + volume down, wait 5 sec.)? [it is esential in all situations of trying to recover]
2.ammm... when you enter "adb devices" in your cmd on PC doesn't it show anything (do it while your tablet is on and hangs anywhere, just make sure it is on)? list is empty? if not it shows your device with some random letters and numbers.
Try manually setting your pc. Download android SDK and all packages for Android 4.x then in Device Manager (Control panel) find your Tablet and update your driver to Android ADB interface (you can experiment, till your device is shown correctly via adb devices command).
But first of all make sure you do or did first step. it is common issue among Prime users so maybe it can help you.

I would like to exchange email-adresses to enhance communication.
You could also send email to [email protected]
I did try with button combination (power & + button) as well, but device did not wipe.
For now - I'm about to update Android SDK )
Hopefully this works to recognize my TF700T...
If you manage to unbrick please post the information back here it may be helpful to others.

How did you get your TF700 unlocked? Asus hasn't posted an unlock tool for it yet that I could find.

Unlock + Root was never a problem.
I managed it to unlock the device using the TF300T tool / link.
Boot loop was big problem.
I did raise RMA in the meantime. New device is on the way.
Thanks to all repliers.
I will keep off doing this again / wait until xda-experts will provide a working way to CWM TF700T.
My Transformer Infinity isn't bricked, I just can't get it to boot into recovery. (I'm unlocked and rooted, but no custom ROM.) I have tried both CWM and TWRP 2.2.0 with GooManager. The tablet just won't boot into recovery mode. I can hold the Down Volume key and Power button to have the initial boot up menu display. When I press the Up Volume button to boot into recovery mode, it just hangs like the OP talks about. I then have to hold the power button for about five or so seconds to get it to power down again. I can turn it back on and it will boot normally.
I thought maybe something was messed up because I installed busybox, or hacked the Flash Player to work in desktop mode, or tweaked the build.prop file or something. I've put the build.prop file back to default, and removed the busybox apps, but that hasn't resolved the problem. I've tried re-running the unlock tool, but it fails halfway through. I'm not sure if that's normal or not after you've run it once, or an indication of something messed up.
Any suggestions on what else to try or look at are appreciated.

UPDATE: I finally got TWRP 2.2.2.0 to work using the following option from the Instruction Page (http teamw.in/project/twrp2/105):
Download - ADB / Terminal method:
Download the above file. Save it to the root of your /sdcard directly (internal memory only) and rename it to twrp.blob
Launch terminal emulator or connect to your computer and open an adb shell, then type the following:
su
dd if=/sdcard/twrp.blob of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
Then reboot to complete installation.

Trying to flash the new CWM recovery, too. Mine gets stuck in the bootloader menu (where you have to choose between Wipe, fastboot mode, and cold startup). Every time I select fastboot it says "starting fastboot usb protocol" and just hangs there.

Any help? Please! :crying:
Well I went to install OmniRom 4.4.2 in my TF300T and when I reached the step to fully wipe it from recovery I did that and it took too long so I tought that it hangs up so I switched it off now everytime I try to boot it up it go on the Asus logo screen with this device is unlocked and then boot to the TWRP logo and stays there looping on it. Whenever I try to switch it on it will auto boot up and go all the way to the TWRP logo again.
What works?
From the TWRP Logo my PC is seeing my device and I installed the drivers from the Universal Naked Drivers but only ADB commands work
When I type: adb devices
It will write me this:
[device code] recovery
but when I write: fastboot devices
it will write nothing
I can also hold the volume up + power button to boot in APX mode.
In Short:
ADB commands working
APX mode working
Fastboot commands not working
My device got no bootloader now I think since I wiped it. Can I re flash recovery using ADB only withotu Fastboot?
Also I don't got any Nvflash blob files backups for my device :/ is it possible to use someone elses blob files? my SKU is WW.
(If possible pls tell me where to download the blob files and what steps I need to take.)
Or just put my tablet in the bin?
Thanks and hope I fix it pls reply.
Using other nvflash backup files to restore bootloader is possible, but not fully legal (and no one will help you, hopefully i'm working on it and i'm going to restore backed up files from other tablet)
If you have adb connection you can try to use dd command to flash official asus firmware blob or flash twrp blob for your bootloader version (4.1 or 4.2) into mmcblk0p4 partition. Unfortunately flashing can go wrong and you can get only asus logo and working apx mode, or when flashing is finished you will not see moving bar under asus logo after reboot (what means flashing partition(s)).
Hello everyone. I am new around here and totally new with android devices. I got my tf300t, installed twrp and flashed to the newest android version. Then my dad suddendly pressed something like restore to the manufactory setting and after that it rebooted and just keep booting with teamwin logo. I can not access twrp recovery mod, it is just in boot loop. I managed to get adb to work, but no fastboot since it does not boot into recovery mode. When I am in adb I can browse the device but the adb reboot bootloader does not work at all. It just hangs there. I can not power off the device because it does not let me, I can not boot into recovery mode with powerbutton and volume down button. After a long power button press it only reboots. I even tried with hard reset button but still the same. Could You please help me somehow? I really need that device for school and I would like to get back into the stock android. Thank you so much for any help.
//edit : I also forget to mention, when I execute adb deviced it shows:
List of devices attached
0123456789ABCDEF recovery
Also the device is unlocked.
Did you tried: adb reboot recovery ?
Did you tried to flash recovery again?
Be sure to use the right recovery for your bootloader. Did you upgraded bootloader to latest ASUS one? One then you're able to flash current recoveries like TWRP like 2.8.5.0 oder 2.8.7.0.
Edit: Also take a look here -> http://droidmodderx.com/prime/?page_id=74
Hello sir. Thank you for answering. I tried adb reboot recovery and it just hangs to be executed... But the tablet is still flashing the teamwin logo. I have the same bootloop as the guy on youtube called Francis Domingo and video called Samsung s5 stuck at TWRP Recovery boot loop (unfortunately I can not add link here).
//edit: Thank you for the link. It look like I have to use option 1a. Is it safe to use that command and I will not make it even more bricked? Thank you so much
//edit2: Now I just realized how to turn off the device to stop from rebooting. I just long pressed power button and up volume button and after the screen went black I kept holding the up volume button. I didn't work with down volume button or if I stopped holding the up volume button after black screen it rebooted again.
//edit3 : Let's say if I get to the twrp mode with option 1a from the link, what do I have to do next to get back to the stock rom (I think it was something like 4.0.3) ? Thank you
What the guy does in 1a is wiping mmcblk0p3.
Afaik mmcblk0p3 is the staging partition. That would be my guess anyway if you had access to fastboot. Usally when you can't boot into recovery, something is wrong in staging. I got the same problem 2 days ago. In this case you usually wipe staging partition via fastboot.
Since you got no fastboot access, you have to try with adb.
After cleaning the staging partition you can flash any recovery you want back again.
The recovery must be flashed to mmcblk0p4 <- 4!!! is the recovery partition. (but you should wipe mmcblk0p3 (3!!!) before)
So I would say, try what solution 1a suggests.
Edit: You can go back to stock android if you want, but there is no reason for this. My advice would be to unlock and root your device, upgrade to latest boot loader (which is done by upgrading to latest stock rom), then flash TWRP 2.8.5.0 and then a useful ROM on top. I'm using the one from timduru which is very nice. You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/development/rom-t2932783
Thank you for the answer. Could you please write a step by step to get out of brick and to get the stock version, because the newer one I installed was many times slower. The reason why I would like to have step by step is because I don't wanna mess it even more than it is. Thank you so much.
//the stock rom was much more faster than the one I have installed, I mean... the boot time wad unbelievable slow, same with responses and wifi problem. If there is any other faster rom than stock I would be happy but I don't wanna mess with any bugs or slow boot speed and I can not wait minutes until it boots.
Hm, try the Option 1a from the link.
If done, boot into current recovery. Tell me which version and which recovery do you have.
Top on this we can decide what to do to flash a good ROM.
I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday. Option #1 worked for me.
I did the steps from option #1 and powered down using the volume up + power. I then tried to boot into TWRP recovery, which only reproduced the same issue.
I redid the option #1 steps, and this time powered down using the power + volume down. I powered back up normally, and it rebooted normally into the ROM.
The tablet now works normally, and I can also boot back into TWRP recovery with no issues.
Thanks for the thread and the link.
Thank you so much Catscratch! After I executed both command from option 1a I can get into the screen, where it shows three options: RCK, Android, Wipe Data
In the top left corner, there is written:
Key driver not found.. Booting OS
Android cardhu-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "WW_epad-10.6.1.27.5-20130902" A03
Starting Fastboot USB download protocol
The tablet can boot into the last ROM but as I said, I would like to have the faster and less buggy rom than this. When I open the settings and click about button there is written: CyanongenMod: 12.1-20150814-NIGHTLY-tf300t and Android version 5.1.1.
If I start RCK it just brings me back to the loop, but now I have fastboot available as it said above and I can list the fastboot devices on computer, which I couldn't before. Should I just execute this command from the computer "fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob" and then "fastboot reboot" or should I download ROM from asus.com/Tablets/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/HelpDesk_Download/ -> OS Android -> Firmware and now I don't know which should I choose: If JP or CN or WW or US or TW (Probably US right?). After that should I execute "fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery firmware.img" and then "fastboot reboot" ? Or which ROM should I download to make it even faster and less buggy than stock ROM? Thank you so much again, You saved my tablet
//After I unzipped downloaded US ROM there is no img file. If I remember right the img file is only recovery to reflash the actual one and then when I start the twrp recovery I will select zip file with rom right?
OK, first of all to continue...I assume you got root access. (I think you should have, because you already got CM installed)
Next. Downloads.
Download: https://twrp.me/devices/asusTF300T.html
Also Download ROM+SuperSU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/development/rom-t2932783
And GApps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/app-minimal-gapps-gapps-lp-20150107-1-t2997368
Push all files to sdcard with "adp push" or in CM. Like you want.
Flash TWRP. (you can skip this step if you already got TWRP 2.8.5.0 or higher version). You don't need latest one.
fastboot -i 0x0b05 flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot
- or -
adb reboot recovery
Now, go into recovery and wipe everything:
- cache
- dalvik
- system
- data
After that flash ZIPs from sdcard. (use "add more zips" option)
1. ROM
2. Gapps
3. SuperSU
Next: Wipe cache and dalvik again (only these two).
Reboot and wait. First boot can take some minutes.
Thank you so much again. Everything work perfectly The rom looks a lot faster than the older one I had there. No issues yet at all. Just awesome. Thank you so much. Really appreciate your kindness and help. You have a nice day !
Thanks. Have fun with your tf300.
Purchased an Lg Gpad 7 Wifi tablet (v400) 2 weeks ago. Came with preinstalled Lollipop android so i couldnt install a recovery rom to flash any other custom roms. Downgraded to Kitkat version following the instructions on Xda forums and succesfully installed Twrp. When i installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 through Twrp i got stuck in fastboot screen.
Any suggestions and / or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
I had a similar problem.. Only mine was stuck at the bootloader. Go in TWRP and repair /data and other partitions. My data partition gave me an error since F2FS is a little flaky and some ROMs corrupted it (claimed they supported it). I would recommend erasing the system, cache and data partition if you can't get into TWRP.
The problem is i cant get out of fastboot whatever i try. It says start on bootloader but the tablet just restarts on an empty screen doing nothing.

if you have an sd card, try removing that, then reboot.
if that doesnt work, try entering fastboot command, fastboot continue
Tried without sdcard and i get the same fastboot screen.
How can i give any commands? The only options i have are Restart Bootloader / Restart / Power off. Tried restarting bootloader but i get nothing in return tablet just stays on with nothing on screen.

you said it was stuck on fastboot, if thats the case, install any needed drivers on your pc, connect device to it, open a terminal in the fastboot dir (after you go get fastboot), then try those commands i gave. you could also try, fastboot reboot dont think i mentioned that before.

hmm, ok, im guessing it would have said that normally, when not broken. all the command does is try to release it past where its stuck. it doesnt actually flash, lock, unlock, or change anything.
imo, this seems good, because now we know fastboot is working.
i own lg devices, but not your specific device. i would hate to give you some bad advice and make your tablet broken more, but if it were me in this situation, i would try to flash the factory KK firmware you used to downgrade with odin or however you did it. hopefully, that will clean everything up and let it boot properly.
if for whatever reason you cant do that, we could try extracting the factory file, and just flashing recovery and system, those should be the only things that got changed putting on twrp and cm normally.
Sorry, I have the serious proplem wtih my LG pad V400, I rooted it and using <LG Flash Tool 2014> with <V40010c_00.kdz> to downgrate the firmware but their is error then my LG pad stuck in fastboot menu as with just turn off, restart and restart bootloader. if i seclect one one them the tablet just logged again the fastboot menu
it stuck on the fastboot menu and i cannot do nay think with it. I can restart with factory restore mode but when select yes to restore, it will restart and log in fastboot menu again.
I downloaded adb and fastboot program and put in one folder <Minimal ADB and Fastboot> in C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
I dont have recovery image so i download file <cm-13.0-20160421-NIGHTLY-v400-recovery.img> form your link to download TWRP file
move it to folder of fastboot programe and changed its name to <recovery.img>
I turn on the tablet and it waited at fastboot menu
when i run the command <fasboot flash recovery recovery.img> and they said some thing wrong like in picture
please help me
Hello Everyone,
I used the TWRP-3.5.2-guacamole-FBEv2-Nebrassy.img to flash recovery. Unfortunately when doing the adb side load (the 3rd try) for the partitions I received the message Unable to decrypt FBE device, failed to decrypt data, Unable to decrypt with default password, you may need to perform a format data.
update 0ct 29 early afternoon: which I did, but didn't change. I did both partition A and B.
So my idea is: wrong TWRP.img
1.How can I remove the wrong img and put the correct one in? Preferably not using the sd-card or is that the only way?
2.Can I go back to fast boot? How?
3.Do I need to turn the phone of, because it won't?
4. OR can I flash the correct TWRP-3.5.2-guacamole-Nebrassy-2.img and then -in team win- choose the option POWER OFF? and will this just overwrite the incorrect TWRP?
update oct 29 midday: I managed (don't know how) to get back in to Fastboot so I thought I could flash the correct TWRP, but ended up with the old TWRP and also noticed that I flash a=everything in partition A instead of B.
So I didn't change anything concerning the partitions but found that it should all be happening in B.
Because I did it in A, did I kill my phone?
update oct 29 evening:
so I did the UP DOWN POWER button 3 times:
- 1st time nothing happened
- 2nd time I got the correct start boot screen but unfortunately with partition A (need partition B)
- 3rd time it went back to OxygenOS, hahaha so now I can start all over again
who says computer's are pure logic! they have a mind of their own....
hopefully I won't mess up the next time I attempt flashing everything,

update:
I can't find anywhere (via startpage) how to reflash, also because I can't seem to get back into Fastboot. Can't power off except via team win but the when in boot loader it says POWER OFF instead of START at the top of the screen.
What can I do?
update:
with the 3 key combination up down power the phone (after 3 attempts) went back to stock.
Kind regards,

fastboot erase recovery
can I use the above command to erase the current unfinished TWRP on my phone?
Please let me know, because I am not intelligent enough to find an answer on google.

Why not just boot Nebrassy TWRP and flash it once it's booted, does that not work?
Boot to bootloader
Download Nebrassy TWRP
fastboot boot twrp.img
Replace twrp.img with the name of the recovery downloaded
In TWRP go to Advanced --> Flash current TWRP
