[H955 6.0] Camera stopped working - Possible to Downgrade 5.1.1 / Reflash 6.0? - LG G Flex 2

Hi,
i flashed the 20a version with lgup - everything worked fine so far but all of a sudden my rearcamera stopped working.
now i want to check if its something software related (20a is not a real final sofware) or hardware damage..
"reflash" with 20a and upgrade in lgup doesnt fix it.
is it possibe to get this phone back to stock firmware justin case i have to send it back to the seller or to see if it will work with stock firmware?
or are there any other ideas what to do?
thanks in advance

And my phone is in same situation

I'd start with a reflash and then downgrade if it doesn't resolve the issue.
Ouch.

It doesnt, Camera still Broken :/ But thx

[Q] camera firmware flashed improperly. Possible fix?

After about 5-7 seconds of recording in 720p I was getting recording failed problems every time. It wasn't doing that before or at least not very often until recently. So I decided to update the camera firmware. I go to the camera firmware update screen by dialing *#*#34971539#*#* I selected phone to CAM FW Write and I go to update the firmware to version 2.0.3 it downloads up to 225/253 pieces then stops and says the update is a success, then it tells me to reboot. I reboot the phone with the volume down and power button, and I find out the camera firmware isn't installed properly. Now under camera info it is displaying.

I don't remember exactly what it said before but I know it said something different. The rear facing camera is now messed up and displaying green. This is happening with all the different camera apps that I tried on the market. I also did a factory reset, cleared the cache and wiped the data. Still I'm getting the same problem. The camera info is displaying the same thing to so I know for a fact that the factory reset didn't reset everything. Maybe someone here who has the same phone can help me out by dialing *#*#34971539#*#* and going to "Phone/CAM FW Ver Check." Tell me what it says if you don't know how to directly fix the problem. If someone here does know how to fix the problem it would be helpful though. I'm rooted and I'm currently running stock Froyo 2.2.1 if that helps.
Once I figured out how to root and flash with the Infuse, I didn't waste much time at all staying on Froyo. However, I've had video recording issues that ended up being caused by the kernel. I suppose it's possible that it could be an issue with the Froyo Community Kernel (I'm guessing/assuming that's how you rooted). Any particular reason you'd not want to just back up your apps and upgrade to Gingerbread?

I'm rooted and on gingerbread 2.3.6 now actually. It didn't fix the camera, but I'm able to go into the camera firmware settings and it's now showing

Every time I try to flash the firmware now it says "firmware update failed try again." I read somewhere that you have to remove the camera before doing a camera firmware update. I opened the phone up and it doesn't look like the camera can easily be removed and put back in.

I hate to keep harping on the same thing, but I'm not so sure it's a camera firmware issue, and you may be making a mountain out of a mole hill. If you happened to upgrade with Heimdall, and you're not already running one of them, it may be worth trying one of the kernels in this post, for ****s and giggles:

I've never had any issue with the camera, aside from what was caused by a kernel, so aside from that advice, I've nothing else to offer. Good luck.

SM-G920F freezes and constant reboots out of the blue

Hi all, first post here, as a brief introduction... I have bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 a couple of weeks ago and recently it has been a constant pain in the.... mind
Currently I have G920FXXU2BOFJ Baseband and it constantly crashes, even without doing anything. The crashes/reboots are completely random and very annoying. I have tried to update the firmware to a latest version from France (which had some updates for Android 5.1.1, file name G920FXXU2BOG8_G920FOXA2BOG8_XEF) but the problem persists.
Trying to revert the firmware to the original I made a mess so I'm currently using Smart Switch as I write to recover the phone from the dead. Any ideas on how to solve these freezing issues? Anyone else having them? I thought it was a hardware problem, but I can leave the phone in Download Mode for as long as I want without issues (not very useful as a smartphone that way though ) However, even in the Wipe Data/Cache mode it still freezes.
Thanks!

Help with unrooting Galaxy S6 CM13 6.0

I need some help unrooting my S6 with cm13 6.0, I installed the cm13 and the camera and flashlight isn't working, also the screen seems a little fuzzy in some rare cases. I wanted to see if it's the cm13 that malfunction the apps. So I want to change back to stock firmware. I was told that if I was flashed to 6.0 I cannot use the old 5.0's firmware to flash and instead I would need 6.0 stock firmware to flash. I want to test out if the phone still malfunctions in stock firmware, if so I will send it in for repair. Please help, thank you.

Wtf dude... did you read bugs of cm13... its not even an alpha rom... download stock BTU firmware a guy just posted minutes ago... you wont have any problems and you dont need to send it for repair
All of the malfunction was fixed by flashing to another rom. I am back at 5.1 Loli now. I also tried the BTU files and they don't seem to work.

SM-N920p Keeps rebooting after root on marshmallow . Have i bricked my phone?

Hello all. I am from the UK and recently purchased a sprint model phone. I wanted to remove handsfree activation. In order to do that i need a root. I rooted 5.1.1 with kernel SpaceX-Kernel-v0.1_N920P(official).tar and all seemed ok. Then i noticed that you could root marshmallow. I followed a tutorial on youtube and flashed two files through twrp no-verify-opt-encrypt.zip and SuperSU zip. I rebooted the phone and now i have a persistent problem. After around 15-30 seconds my phone shuts off and reboots itself. I have tried reflashing stock roms and the problem still persists. I have no idea if i have broken the phone as its usable until it shuts off . I went into the about phone section and it tells me the baseband and software versions are unknown aswell. Is there anyway to recover this?
Known issue. Drain battery until it is dead and charge again.
