Keyboards for XDA II

Does anyone here know which PDA keyboards (if any) will definately work with the XDA II?
Bluetooth or IR?
Thanks.
How about XDA I Foldable Keyboard.
I'm using an XDA I Foldable Keyboard with my XDA II, without any problem. The shape and design is the same as that of iPAQ.
However, I install iPAQ Foldable Keyboard Driver 3.03 instead of the provided driver.
Hope this helps.
i've seen both Foldable Keyboard and the thumb keyboard listed as official qtek2020 keyboards
I'm using www.tt-tec.com Snap'n'type IR keyboard (for few hours at the moment ;-) ) and it works great.
I use a thinkoutside ir wireless keboard. Excellent

Using a BT mouse on the Galaxy S

Holy molly.
I didn't think this was possible at all. Does anyone has a bluetooth mouse that they can try on a 2.2.1. firmware? I don't know why anyone would want to use a mouse on a phone, but hell, it's just so damn cool.
P.S. How on earth do you embed youtube videos?
yeah, its really cool. I did it too and a BT keyboard is working too, btw.
My god guys r crazy...but cool

I'm running the stock Bell rom and my Dell mini BT mouse that I got on sale for $15 before xmas and my old Stowaway keyboard work almost mint, I say almost because a few of the windows mobile shortcut buttons don't work but it's over 90% functional.
Neil
yep got it working aswell i am using a Targus mini laptop mouse and works absolutely beautifully
only bluetooth mouse and keyboard i have is my partners Apple ones, but will try them when i get in whoop
WTF ?
I take it none of you have seen this dusty old thread then

Thanks for posting the link to my video, but as someone has pointed out there is a rather long thread about this already!
Main reason to use a mouse with the phone is when then phone is plugged into a TV, either for gaming or when in the browser. Some games like Castle Warriors are much nicer with a mouse.

Landscape Google TV apk

I love Google TV, but hate having the big keyboard in my lap all the time. The phone app is good but we be GREAT if it was in landscape. I know the best devs are here so I am challenging someone to try to make this. Maybe even with some nice teeming too semi transparent or ics theme.

It's on the Market, but I'm not sure it's quite what you're hoping it is.
Mainly, it's just a remote control for your existing set-top box (Logitech Revue) or Sony smart TV with Google TV integrated.
But I am looking for the app to be in landscape mode

Just picked one up myself, and have the same questions.
i would like to know to...
although i found this http://forum.gtvhacker.com/nsz-gs7-streamer/
yeah, found that too. Looks like GTV Hax is being coy about releasing the updated root. Sony plugged all the holes quickly.

I think they should not even advertise the Google play store: very very limited on what you can download.
I d/l stuff on my Kindle Fire HD & transfer it over. A lot of it works anyway, as long as it's not too touchscreen dependent. Be nice if we could get root (it exists), but it's being kept from the general population.

any news on a jellybean update?
I sold mine. It was awful, slow, laggy device. Cool at first, but novelty wore off. Better off buying a computer and using a wireless keyboard and mouse app for your phone.

[DEV] dlmirror - Nexus 7 video output

Hello, I made a cmd app called "dlmirror", it can mirror the screen of Nexus 7 to DisplayLink devices. For example, with DisplayLink adapter you can connect your Nexus 7 to TV/Projector via VGA/HDMI/DVI cable.

Very nice. Is this the only development on getting TV output for nexus 7?
Please forgive my ignorance, and I realize that we have an accessory section, but what kind of adapter would I need to purchase to make this happen?
AW: [DEV]dlmirror - Nexus 7 video output
I guess you need a normal OTG adapter and then you can plug your DisplayLink monitor or a DisplayLink adapter (with VGA, DVI or HDMI output) into it.
Re: [DEV]dlmirror - Nexus 7 video output
Hmm I was thinking the same... Did some googling, maybe we need some of these

I am interested in this.
1) Do I need to root my nexus 7?
2) Is there an Android app to do this?

of course root is needed. there's no app to do this... this is the 1st in the world
I'm busy these months, maybe I'll develop an app to use dlmirror easily when I'm free.

Great news and great wotk man! So there is video-out possibility after all on our Nexus 7. Is there a hardware cap at 15fps or is it possible to go higher?
Re: [DEV]dlmirror - Nexus 7 video output
Is this faster than android transporter ROM or has the potential to be faster?
Would this adapter also work?

seems ok, dl165/195/160 series are supported, other devices are not tested.

Yep, I'd very much like this to happen. Just went to a hotel with the kids recently. Couldn't use the hdmi tv that was there...
This would be excellent.
Re: [DEV]dlmirror - Nexus 7 video output
Would be very interested if this was compatible with slim port adapter's.
I just bought a slimport adapter for my nexus 4 and was hoping to use it with the nexus 7

From http://www.analogix.com/technology/faq.html
> SlimPortâ„¢ is not a standard. It is a family of products from Analogix based on DisplayPort, an open standard.
DisplayPort is totally different from DisplayLink.
