My name's Jose, I am from Spain, and this is my first post.
Here's my problem, I have a phone with a broken screen, so I want to find a replacement screen. However, I can't seem to be able to find one, and I think it is because I am not using the correct brand/model name.
Here's what I know about the phone:
- It says Hisense on the back.
- Under the battery there's a sticker that says Model: Hisense L695.
- In Settings-About Phone, it says Device name: "PureShot Plus" and Model number:"Hisense L695".
- The screen is 5.5 inches.
I have been looking around with those names, and it looks to me as though it is only sold with those names in certain countries (Spain, South Africa, Indonesia, Italy). I have found some links, but I can't post them properly because I don't have enough posts:

In this forum I can only find one Hisense device, and for example in gsmarena.com it doesn't even list Hisense as a brand.
So, thank you all for reading this. I hope someone can help me, either by telling me where to post this, an alternative name of the phone, or where to find it (well, a link for a replacement screen would be awesome too :laugh: )

Hi, I will answer to myself in case it helps someone. It looks like the screen is glued to the front casing, so you need to replace both. I found a kit here (I can't post the link properly because I don't have enough posts)

Please post here if you find out anything. I'm interested in the possibility of upgrading Android on new Sharp phones. Especially if this can help use the gadget (not really a keitai) on another operator, not just DoCoMo.
Don't know if it's locking or just plain incompatibility, but the IS01/SH-10B seems to be stuck with 1.6 and the Netwalker, for example, with Ubuntu 9.04. Same thing goes about older devices running WM.
IS01 has been rooted.
Have you got anymore details or a link?

It's possible to install a ubuntu version on this device?
I tried to find something on google, but i find only a few links to xda forums, where someone ask about this device, and many links to articles to the launch of this device on japan, etc etc, but nothin useful.
Got something but it's in japanese and translated pages are a little weird (bad translata I think).
I wonder if someone here will start some project....

With hardware specification you give, i think it's maybe the GooApple G22 (but with clone it's a bit dfficult because many model exist...), and as is an androphone, you can normally install clockwork mod recovery and flash it to android 3.2 (as i've read for the G22 model).
But before doing anything, be sure what hardware you have exactly otherwise you may brick you phone !!

Sorry but there is too much models with this specifications ... a lot use the ARMv6 ... and there is no relevant infos on your pics ... nothing found about freesoft21.
When you buy it, wich name have the phone ?? (they have always a name).
Unfortunately, where I had ordered a phone model has seen fit to send me another model and then disappeared.
I find it unusable as a phone
What can I do? you have other suggestions?

Can you check this video and follow it, let me know if you arrive to activate english.
If your menu is not the same, try to do that :
Type this : *#0044# then press SEND button
This must Set Language to English

I would try to do a backup and try updating.
give me some instructions on what to do?
I know it would be alot of work and research, but you could go to YouTube and watch all the different videos on all the iphone clones and try to see which one your phone looks and operates like. Could be a shot in the dark or it could tell you what you have. Best of luck.

Currently I have a samsung glaxy tab (one) gtp1000 - running Kanged gummy/paranoid android...
I am hoping as my searches have been fruitless (maybe I'm a bad searcher using the wrong terms?) some one here could point me in the correct place for my next question(s)* pretty please?
I have on order a Lenovo A8-50 tablet ... it comes in three variants A5500-HV (I want but probably not what is going to turn up) A5500-H (think mine is this) and Lenovo A5500-F. The F is wifi only, the HV is wifi & 3d for data/voice calls. The H is wifi + 3g for data. it also connects to some 2g networks.
I would like to make voice calls on it...& need to know if I can just install a dialer app as it has 2g, or upgrade the rom unofficially...in which case can I use the same rom as the lenovo a850 phone (note the lack of - ) or is there a generic data tablet crack that someone can show me please?
I am able to follow instructions and have some skills.

Thanks - I'm glad I've not missed something. I was sure I'd lookeed there but maybe not hard enough...I seam to have found that the firmware is the only difference & that is other countries 3G voice is turned on...I guess uploading the official rom in russian in my answer...google translate better be right that 'it is not fatal, machine will not start - you must re-sew'

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I've recently broken the screen of my Xperia (sucks) so I went into town and purchased about the only cheap decent phone available which just so happened to be network locked to boost/telstra (Australia).
Seems a soft network unlock option is available through third party websites but I figured why not try my hand at rooting the phone and loading a default android ROM onto it (I hope I have that terminology correct).
So the phone type is in the description and I cant seem to find anything that will help me out in rooting it.
Kingo/iRoot both seem to fail and I cant find a forum or really any information on this phone anywhere online.
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me out - ultimately the end goal is to remove the network lock and maybe if possible remove the bloatware.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Greetings and welcome to assist. Yes that thread should be fine for rooting your device but rooting it will not normally network unlock your device. As far as I am aware the only way to network unlock it is from the carrier

Its happened after 10 month of good endurance, the oled screen broken.
I want to order one but found many websites and as it an oled screen, i want to get a genuine one with same quality.
Any advice on website i should check ? And if there is any thing i should know before changing mine (with a pro shop), i would love the advices.
