Hi guys! I flashed the cm12.1 rom and then the gapps zip. Everything worked fine but with no LTE. So I flashed a 6045l 6.x modem radio and now the sim card is undetected. I flashed back to stock MM and my sim card is still undetected. Is there a fix for this?
I'm on the cricket USA michigan service on the 6945l model.
You flashed back using mobile upgrade software?
I had the same problem and had to reflash the Panasonic Eluga firmware to get my SIM to detect again (then had to restore a TWRP backup after another failed attempt to get LTE back). It seems the 6045i_6.0.1_K7VAUEB0BG00_radio_update_usa.zip from famewolf's Mega folder breaks SIM detection (or I failed to flash it properly ). After coming across this thread, I'm now looking for those referenced files to hopefully restore LTE to my phone.

I have the 5.02 files from an untouched 6045I, that I use on cricket, it fixed my sim and lte issues, I'm not at home right now but if you think they can help, I can post them when I get home. I flashed them via fastboot, then ran mobile upgrade q and everything was fixed, I'm pretty sure I would not have had to use mobile q, and simply flashing those files allowed eluga switch even to see cricket lte, they just are not 6.0.1 versions so not sure how they would work on a MM rom. Let me know if you want them......
Edit: I see you were flashing CM 12.1, they should work fine just enter fastboot and flash the files after installing 12.1

I would appreciate those files when you get a chance. Mobile Q did not restore those files/partitions so I'm running the Eluga lollipop files with a 6.0.1 Project Material build from The Marionette and everything works aside from LTE.

Glad, everything worked out for you. I was so panicked when I lost LTE, I just assumed using Alcatels upgrade Q software it would fix things, but apparently it does not restore all partitions, which is strange, but at least there is a solution for it now. I have seen posts as far back as June where people have lost LTE, and we are just now finding out how to fix it, thanks to @Mario223 for providing the solution!!

I sent this device to Europe, used eluga to downgrade and then installed Aleks OS and sim card is not detected at all. You think this would fix the issue? don't matter if LTE works as long as H+ is ok.
EDIT: service restored with these radio images.
Now i would like to try maybe European radio to see if LTE will work? does anyone have it?

Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner, it was a rough day... I have had that happen once, I had to flash those files with sim inserted. Glad things worked out...
Would you happen to have European radio for Europe lte bands? Just to try out both. But I'm guessing eluga baseband didn't work so it's better to keep it with USA lte radios. At least it works.

I have the same problem on 6045Y variant after phanasonic Eluga I lost some bands. The very strange thing and that if I install with phanasonic Eluga leaving inside the sim card of my operator (Tim Ita) recognizes the sim and everything worked, when I try to put a different sim type Vodafone Wind H3G are not recognized. I have to use it again phanasonic EUGA With Inside operator sim that I will want to use then.
I also tried using panasonic EUGA without any sim in the phone but in the end did not recognize any.
I tried with MobileQ update but ninte to do the situation remains as it exits the panasonic EUGA.
Pi would love to restore my phone as it was before I could put any SIM of any operator and was recognized.
Does anyone have the right partitions of the model 6045Y mono sim 16GB thanks in advance.
Thanks to kal250, i can confirm this worked on my mothers phone, which is a 6045Y , and restoring those files and installing 6.0.1 on top worked out well.
What is not good was the panasonic recovery which started this mess ;( but thanks again to kal250

Last night i saw i can't connect on a carrier.
I saw on phone settings status that imei = 0
I changed a pair or ROMS (AOSB and then GPE) and i did before installing "fastboost erase all", that could be the problem?
Is there a way to have IMEI restored from 0 to what it's written on my battery?

If you have completely removed that partition then imei is lost. You must try something to restore that efs directory. If possible in this particular case.

Currently on G+ ROM (switched many including stock)
BASEBAND: MSM8626BP_1032.340.63.00y
I read earlier this problem can occur due to a missing or not properly flashed radio firmware. You say you have already flashed stock, did you include the following commands?
flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
erase modemst1
erase modemst2
flash fsg fsg.mbn

Hey guys, had a bit a problem, had to flash the phone as it got stuck in a boot loop. Had some trouble with that but managed to get cm 12 on now.
The only thing is that I don't get any signal at all. In my network selection it says there are no networks available. I've tried taking the sim in and out, resetting the access points. Tried to change the preferred network type but it can't be changed from Lte/GSM auto (prl).
Just a bit of history, I had to flash to color os then to cm 11 now it has updated to cm 12.
Has anyone got any tips for me please?
Also I put in *#*#3646#*#* and I read to go into phone info and to turn off and turn on the radio, but the button said turn on radio but it didn't do anything. What does the radio do?
Thanks

Did you have a corrupt efs before this? It sounds like you followed the corrupt efs fix guide. Flash twrp 2.8.6.0 and then flash the oxygenos modem. That might fix it.
I don't know what a corrupt efs is. But I couldn't do anything with the phone. Followed some YouTube guide by using some Chinese programme and flashing color os the fastbooting cm11. How would I flash the oxygen modem? Through twrp or fastboot?
Will having cm12 and an oxygen modem be OK?

Be careful when following these guides, if it's outdated (and it looks like it is) it can cause damage to your phone.
What I'd recommend is flash twrp 2.8.6.0 or katinatez's unofficial TWRP 2.8.7.0.5
Download the modem here
Flash the modem through twrp
Thanks XDA
I got my fixed by installing modem via Fastboot.
Follow these steps:
- Boot to fastboot and run command : fastboot flash modemst1 modemst1.bin
- Once done, install Cyanogen OS 12.1 via fastboot and reboot.
Above steps got my phone fixed, it was not showing imei no, unknown baseband previously and everything is fixed now. :highfive:

That's right, instead of posting link to a post I copied text and posted, and yes I also had to flash color os using that Chinese tool as my phone hard bricked while trying to fix modem issue. But that Chinese tool revived my phone and when flashed CyanogenOS12.1 I flashed that attached modem which fixed the No SIM card issue.
The baseband version is 00241.
Hope this helps.

You Sir, you deserve a Medal.
If there is anyone who hasn't tried to flash the MM.zip to their cricket variant phone who can make a partition back up and make a zip that'd be greatly appreciated. Also for anyone who hasn't done so make a backup of the partitions before trying to flash MM or you'll be stuck like me later. Mobile Upgrade Q cannot restore the phone to stock once the partitions are overwritten by the MM.zip from the 6045I unlocked variant. I've tried everything I could and nothing works.
I have a stock rooted 5.0.2 6045O twrp full backup everybody is welcome to.I don't know how to get it to you.
Well, you need to use bash or shell script trought adb to get the partitions back
If you've a Windows PC : run this script with admin rights : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1T7tp6tJ_3kU3RobmhFNnREeWc/view
If you work with Linux : run this script, (don't forget chmod +x to make it executable), invoking sudo : https://mega.nz/#!QtEG3TSb!DJ8N1dVRUYNPOLk8kQj2ggZfx8o5M9whiag5WFfANtc
It will bring partitions back to your PC. For Linux script, it will be in ~/blocks. I don't know for Windows', as I never used it, but I get you'll get a message
I was trying to delete this thread because I managed to get my phone back online soon after. The current 6045O modem zip came from my phone. Right now @famewolf is comparing the partitions I've sent from stock 5.0.2 and 6.0.1 so we can effectively repartition the phone back to standard 6045O, but keep the MM update in system with TWRP and Root. I used the modem zip also and made another backup to see if just the modem zip fixed any partitions or not.

You can run a "getprop | grep non.ver" to see what version radio you are on from an adb shell. Verify you are on the radio you think you are. Radio versions are listed in the filenames now of the radio folder. Try flashing the 5.0.2 radio AGAIN.
As a last resort...reinstall using mobileq....the 6045O is still on 5.0.2 I think...once there..unlock bootloader..flash twrp and then use the two zips I have labelled 6045X....one will backup your OWN radio to /sdcard/modem.img and the 2nd will flash the radio partition using that same file...you can reapply one of the custom marshmallow's which should NOT wipe out TWRP and then reflash your own radio back.
I'd appreciate it if other cricket users would try the getprop command from a shell and if you have a DIFFERENT radio than the version listed please let me know...perhaps you have a newer version.
Does anyone have the original radio that came 6045O 5.0.2 out the box before the other 5.0.2 ota

Sure thing.
Is your Alcatel rooted and fastboot working?
I believe you need fastboot enabled to flash the modems if I'm not mistaken.
What I had to do to revert my device back to Lollipop was to flash with Mobile Q.
But Mobile Q uses a different modem so I had to root Lollipop and then I could flash the modem(s) with fastboot which got my wifi and data working again.

Here are some instructions I copied from another user that I used to restore my modem(s).
-------------------------------------------
The Eluga Switch software replaces the fsg partition to enable different LTE bands.
Mobile Q fails to replace it with a U.S. one so you get stuck with LTE band 1/3/7/etc.
Restoring LTE band 4 (from stock android 6.0.1):
1. Flash Eluga Switch to get fastboot back
2. fastboot flash fsg fsg.img
3. Flash Mobile Q
--------------------------------------
If I remember right the ".img" file extension is not on my fsg image so if you get an error with the above command just leave off the file extension like so: "fastboot flash fsg fsg" (without the qoutes)
Hi. I was just wondering is it possible to install huawei watch 2 rom on 4g version. I assume that It would loose 4g conectivity but is it even possible without bricking the watch?
Thank You
I have the same situation as you, no 4g Internet connection after updated to Oreo, try all the roms here in the forum but still no 4g Internet connection, if you try to flash the Bluetooth version of Huawei watch2 roms, you will lost the sim card function, of course you can try it but remember DO NOT flash the BOOTLOADER coz it will brick your watch!!
Also , I tried to flash back to watch 2 4g Nougat 7.1.1 but when I try to flash the bootloader , the device not allow to downgrade the BOOTLOADER to 7.1.1, but you can still flash the rest imgs ( boot, system, userdata, recovery) to get back to Nougat, but after flashing back the 4g Internet connection still not working.
If someone have any solutions, please share and let us know:crying:
Thanks

If someone have any solutions, please share and let us know:crying:
Thanks

In the twrp thread I posted the 4g Oreo firmware. I don't know if it will fix your problem, maybe flash OEM and aboot? Note aboot is the bootloader, so only as last resort!!!

It depends really... Try just boot, OEM, recovery, system. Then try wipe data. Then try all again. Only now can you try aboot. NEVER EVER flash abootbak, it is a backup!!!

Yes use Fastboot only. If it fails though there is no fixing it so I am not responsible for your actions. Only flash with a reliable usb

Thanks , btw just wondering what is the extension of the aboot, img or bin? I think I will not flash it, and just bring it to the Huawei repair center.
Thanks for your help

It's an elf afaik, but maybe a bin...
Btw Huawei will charge you - if the bootloader is unlocked you have no warranty.
Finally fixed it by sent it back to Huawei service centre:good: thanks

Install it just like any other official firmware package: with fastboot or RSD Lite.

For owners of the Boost Mobile variant of the Moto G7 Play (xt1952-4), I can confirm that this Android 10 firmware package runs stable and smooth. I've been using it for a full day and I have not yet noticed and bugs or instabilities. Bluetooth, WiFi, RIL and 4G/LTE mobile data all work without any issues.

Here's a guide I put together that works for the Boost Mobile variant Moto G7 Play. In theory it should work on other variants, but I can only confirm my Boost Mobile model.

In fact, the Brazilian ROM works flawlessly. Think on it as a Retail Android 10 Stock ROM independent of the country

Indeed. I'm using Android 10 as a daily driver on a Boost Mobile CHANNEL and my device runs just as smooth -- or smoother, perhaps -- than it did on its native Android 9 Pie OS.

First make sure the bootloader is installed to slot _a and _b. Then flash everything. If you reboot into the bootloader it should say something like, "failed to start, try again?" And give you the option to factory reset. If it does that then you'll need to factory reset in order to boot up. Just an FYI, "fastboot erase userdata" should never be used on Android 10. You must use the Android 10 stock recovery to erase user data. Using fastboot to do it will corrupt the data partition. This might not be true for the sdk version of fastboot, but I haven't tested that yet.

So the bootloader.img needs to be installed to both the _a and _b partition slots?
Thanks for the info on "fastboot erase userdata" while using Android 10.

It really only needs to be done once. Our phones don't ship with a bootloader in slot b so if you swap slots without it, you'll brick and need a blank flash file to fix it.
