[REQUEST] Google Talk (Talk) apk :D

Hi, really need the Google Talk app right now
Im talking about the Talk applcation which comes with stock rom. Its name is Talk and Talk is written on its icon
I couldnt find it on Google, Inc. on playstore

Which ROM you are on ?
IF you are on cm9/cm10/AOKP/PA then you can flash Gapps in Recovery to have it back.

Place it in data/app and reboot. It'll autoinstall. Remember to change the permissions to RW-R-R, which looks like this:

I added the apk to zip and flash the whole.
Now it works! :laugh:

untar the JB_V05, go to the folder system \ app and put the file talk.apk then compact it all and flash

I tried downloading all the files but none works. It says something about parsing :S Please help!

no need to install it. just use root explorer and place the apk in data/apps and set permissions to rw-r--r--, then check the app drawer screen, there should be an icon for talk. try a reboot as well

I tried the above steps, but i am not seeing any icon for talk. Can someone please help me?

hi im using acer liquid e.. i have root my phone and accidently delete talk app.now i cnt update/intstall any apps from google play..i have reboot my phone and all my file manager and other apps deleted.now im helpless..plz any1 can help me..wen i intstall talk.apk its says application canot be installed..

I tried to change keyboards sounds (4 files in system/media/ui) with the one of Windows Phone (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/f3alag84jyrqtt5/qjeoyWaHme) but it doesn't worked. Why? I also changed permissions with Root Explorer.

This is because samsung's stock keyboard has his own sounds integrated in the apk, you have to decompile the app if you want to change anything

Yes,cause those 4 are not gona do it.now I didn't checked ui but you got to change TW ogg also. If you can wait I'll can make the one's you need but will be like over 7 hours or so.

I only found exactly these files with the same name as the one of GS4.

Need original hosts file

If you mean host files as in preloaded stuff, you can simply download the rom and pull whatever you need from it. Just put it in using es file explorer.

Just flash the zip in recovery and that's it...the zip delete the old one and paste the new one

Gallery is not working it opens but doesn't show the videos,pic etc..also air gesture is not working for music app..

Download any .rar unzip apk from play store which can open rar files with password . I Use an app called "RAR" which is free
