How to install Xposed for S5 (g900h) with custom Rom of s7 - General Questions and Answers

I've already rooted my s5 and installed aj's s7 edge custom rom in my mobile. So now it's working on android 6. Model number is g900h. I just wanted to ask that how do I install xposed in my mobile without removing the custom rom. I'm using twrp for the recovery. And also tell me if by installing xposed there is any possibility of losing data as Im not backing up my data. Thanks!

[Q] Root + Custom Rom

Hello Everybody!
I am new to android and this rooting/custom recovery scene. I have rooted my Nexus 5 on 4.3, updated to 4.4 then rereooted, but that's it.
I have now done this:
Previously running stock android 4.4.2 with root/unlocked bootloader/TWRP/SuperSU working great
Wiped device (via TWRP bootloader)
Flashed custom rom (Omnirom, 4.4.2)
Installed SuperSU from gplay store
I opened SuperSU and it says I'm not rooted. What have I done wrong? And can you help me understand this process, because evidently the custom Rom (or the wipe beforehand?) broke my root. Can I get it back without flashing Omnirom again?
Thanks!
Adam
P.S. Anybody know a good Multiwindow Rom for Nexus5?
Download and flash the SuperSU.zip through TWRP from here
Then when you open SuperSU should work. You can apply this same procedure for most ROMs if they don't come pre-rooted like Omni.
Additionally, there is a setting which you should tick "Install SuperSU backup script" which means it should remain rooted after you flash an OmniROM delta update.

[Q] bootloader flashing

First of all i want to say HI!
I am plannning to flash Xtrestolite rom for my Samsung Galaxy S5 G900f Kitkat version [rooted already]. It says "Make sure you're on an recent Lollipop Bootloader/Firmware".
Q: can i flash lollipop bootloader on my SGs5 KITKAT version?
It also says "Make sure you have an custom recovery installed (I advise you to use the custom TWRP version by @ktoonsez)"
I can't find this custom twrp by ktoonsez on google search.
This is my first time to flash a custom rom. Please help me. . Thank you so much
Hi, you can look this page:
androidrootz.com/2014/04/how-to-root-galaxy-s5-recovery-root.html
To install a costum ROM you have to obtain root and costum recovery on your phone.
I had Galaxy S2 and the procedure was similiar... you have to download Odin (Samsung program to flash firmware and other system file), PhilZ recovery (a costum recovery) and SuperSU (root app).
thanks for your help

Installing custom ROMs question

Hi..
So currently I am on AOE3 5.0.2 on my G920F flat S6, rooted with PingPongRoot. I am wondering if to upgrade to 5.1.1 and root it as I want to start playing with custom ROMs. Unfortunately, I just broke my S3 LTE where I can not manage to install anything ( i was using TWRP) - so that makes me scary a bit . I am curious about this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/development/to-n0t3-bring-larger-fun-to-flagship-t3179857 but author says to install it via Philz.. and AFAIK there is no Philz nor CWM for S6. So will installing it via TWRP ruin my phone or not? And how about other roms? Please help
I use that room with Philz and all works fine here, just make sure to flash right kernel for ur s6 , (also knox gonna be trip)
Where cant I gest Philz recovery for my G920F?

Samsung S7 Root

Hello guys,
I've had root and a custom ROM since I bought my S7 but recently been messing up, so I put stock everything with Samsung Kies 3, my question is can I just put root and keep the Stock ROM, I really only root for iOS emojis, app disabling, and adblocker.
Thanks
Yea you can flash Magisk or SuperSU via zip in recovery on a stock ROM to get root access. Should be a thread for each in the dev or mods section.
