Hi guys its been a while since i tinkered with android devices
Ive been trying fixes but i cant seem to find one
I tried using the PC suite but i cant find any key for factory resert
Then i tried using the vol up power combo and i cant access the stock recovery
By the why i need to factory reset the device as my girlfriend forgot her password

Is your hardware keys are okey , if yes , you can access recovery, use right key combination, search google how to put mi4c in recovery mode.

tried that, but it appears that the phone has a locked bootloader, i just need a way how to factory reset this

this is what i see when i get into recovery method ( vol down + power )
im not allowed to go up or down in the menu, its just stuck.. and if i press power it just reboots into recovery, if i take battery off i can boot back to os (4.0.4) thinking Original owner installed this wrong? Or is this normal stock? again, i just got the phone so not sure.

You can try to unlock the bootloader and flash the factory image. Beware, you'll loose every data in the internal memory.

Thanks, so does this mean this was stock, or no, since i can't move up or down.
Where do i go from here, a how to flash factory image tutorial?
Search the forums. Its all here.
All bootloaders are stock. There are no custom bootloaders/radios.
Cant tell what is on your phone in the bootloader mode. But there is some kind of issue if the volume up and down doesnt work in that mode

I just have a Lil problem. I've been trying to flash my LG p500 for like 3 days now, the phone is stuck at "Blue error handler", display but when I press the up key it goes to emergency mode but when I connect the phone to my PC, my PC doesn't detect it and I have all LG drivers installed. I have changed the cable still the same thing, I have even tested my PC by connecting another LG p500 to it and that was working great. RIGHT now I dunno how what to do anymore... Any assistant will be appreciated

If you are good rooted.
Use LGMDP to flash a recovery and then flash s rom.
Or Use LGMDP to flash a stock rom.
Or Use KDZ to flash a stock rom.
All of these need your phone in emergency mode. Search for procedure.
You need to go into emergency mode manually. Remove the battery the hold power+vol up+back button to go into emergency mode. Computer will then detect your phone. Then flash recovery from lgmdp

It works. Just download and, even if is not english, just press the button most to the right (or the green button)
The phone must be in USB debugging mode.
After a restart of the program (probably after installing some needed drivers/modules) click the ROOT green button, wait, and after a reboot of the phone, install root checker.
For me it worked. The only bad point on this stuff is that installs some sort of super user application in chinese. I've installed super user from google play.
After I think I'll install a recovery app and put a custom ROM over this stock ICS.

I unlocked its bootloader and installed twrp
But I accidentally deleted its OS and chose to reboot
Now it just shows this message

Hello
If you keep the power button pressed for ~10-15 seconds, your device will reboot. While the screen is black, quickly press the power+volume down button to access fastboot mode. Then you can flash the stock firmware.

i have a serious on my samsung sm-A500H/DS, and i hope find solution with xda developpers.
I made an error while flashing my phone Samsung sm-A500H/DS yateley.gu466gg.uk made in VIETNAM, i used recovery.img extracted from the original .tar.md5 of samsung with flashify application, and after reboot, the is brocked only i see logo and self restart, (please see images)no volume + Home UP + power works and no volume down + Home + Power works. Please help me to fix my phone.

Hi, since the device can boot to the Samsung screen it's not hard bricked. This means it can be recovered. I would recommend downloading the stock ROM for the device from a site such as sammobile.com and then flashing it to the phone by putting it into download mode and using Odin to flash the firmware to the device.

Hi, first i thank you for your reply, the problem is i cannot make the phone in the download mode with power down + home + power. i think may be i must use USB JIG and see if it works.
