[Q] Is anyone working on a custom ROM for the OF7 firmware?

It would be awesome to have some information on or about anyone working on a custom Rom for the Sprint S6 running the OF7 firmware...

That would be a no since there is no custom recovery yet

Once we have working TWRP recovery for 5.1.1, I'm sure Sac's updated ROM for OFE build will soon follow.

There is unofficial versions of TWRP that work with 5.1.1.

Its all about attempting to build it.., if i take the source for international twrp add our zimage and create a lunch menu and build it, that sounds to simple

None yet. I wonder if you can get into recovery can you sideload a USB OTG that has a proper build.prop and overwrite the F'd up build.pro?

How ironic, first phone to get nougat and the last to get oreo. Meanwhile pie is out so you're a little late LG.
Anyway how does it perform for those of you that took the leap?
I'm not too terribly excited to upgrade to oreo unless performance is at least equal to what I am getting now.
My note 3 got slower and slower with every upgrade.

Too early for me to tell about performance. Home touch buttons now shrunk down to a more normal smaller size. Now looks like my wife's G6, very good.

Still ARB1. I have been trying to get the OTA off my V20 for a bit. It is downloaded but I can't seem to find it. Already tried every folder in /cache/ with no luck at all.

1st phone to get Nougat but last to get Oreo

Finally I received an update.
I checked today and I found it.
Not sure if auto notification works for me so I may be wrong with release date.
The file is a .zip OTA update and I can't install right now because TWRP tells me error E1000 (system contents modified or similar).
Hope you can do better than me...And please do it!!!
Waiting for AFH to grant me developer permissions, I uploaded on my Google Drive.

Gussing from the size. This is might be patial update. If device is rooted I think Full OTA will be needed.
My U11+ is running on GSI asop pie but camera is really buggy. Hopefully they release Pie soon so I can get back to stock ?.

But I'm not recommended flashing to 9.0 if you are going to use the camera. ASOP camera is too bad and I can't manage to install Gcam( I have tried many versions but none of them work).
