As I have seen the XDA Assist I thought this is the right place to ask my question...
Firstly,I want to confess that I am totally noob about developing...I am using a device named Micromax E483 which has 3 GB ram and msm8929 processor running stock aosp lollipop 5.1.1(LMY47V)..I am big a fan of cyanogenmod and when I was thoroughly searching for it I found a thread on xda about cm13 unofficial ROM made for Lenovo vibe k5 which has almost same spec as my device(Only ram diff.)When I asked on that forum they told I can run this ROM on my device but I need a custom modified kernel first...As I am totally noob so the thing I can do is I can ask for help here.If anyone sures me that he can do it for me(creating custom modified kernel),I will upload my stock boot.IMG..I can also upload the modified boot.IMG made for vibe k5...but pls reply sir....

Assist is not the right place to ask waht youre asking for.

I would like to install Lollipop 5.1 ROM on my phone Micromax Xpress 2 which has 4.4.2.
As there is no custom ROM to install on the said phone, I would like to upgrade to Lollipop 5.1 without waiting for Micromax to provide the upgrade.
Is it possible?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. First, please register so you can access all the good stuff here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/register.php. Firmware and roms are device specific so never try to flash something on your device that is not specifically made for it. Unfortunately there is not a specific forum for your device on XDA. And I can't find lollipop firmware or roms for your device. The best place to find help though is here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android.
I just rooted my iBall Slide 7803 Q900. and need a custom os preferably cyanogen mod.
will i get full features of a custom os if i flash stock rom on my tablet?
Please help me find a custom os for my tab

Thanks for using XDA Assist.
If you flash a stock rom then you will have the stock features. Nothing more, nothing less.
There's no custom rom for all Android devices and I didn't anything for your device. You can keep an eye out in the general development section here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development
I have an alcatel 4033a and it has an cwm tecovery and i installed a cm rom for it and it did not work is therd a way can i edit some thing to make the rom work ......the recovery,rom or something plz

Guys I have been searching for cyanogenmod for lenovo a369i for sometime. I even tried to port one but it didn't boot. guys I am sick of the stockrom. I need cyanogenmod with lollipop or atleast kitkat. All I found was some themed stock roms which claimed itself as cyanogenmod. Guys please help

Hello everyone i have a lenovo phab plus (PB1-770m) i've been using it for over a year now and it's starting to lag so i thought of changing the ROM cause the official firmware is old And 5.1.1.. i found a rooting thread and rooted my device but i couldn't find any custom room for it . is there any reason why there is no custom room for it .

Because lenovo didn't ship a device tree and a vendor tree. And they shipped a dead kernel
