[Q] Xperia Flash Tool 0.2.6 didnt work?

I tried to flash Xperia X10i with new firmware, but Flash Tool 0.2.6 didnt work.
See the logfile below.
Xperia is now bricked, its rebooting on boot screen with endless loop.
I need some help pls.

Xperia X10i is runnign again!
I flashed my X10i with Android 1.6 (R1FA16), and update it with SE PC Companion to Android 2.1 (Baseband 2.1.54 and Firmware 2.1.A.0.435).
Flashtool 0.2.6 is still not working on my PC (windows 7).
I tried it on my second PC with XP its also not running.

Need to install Flashtool 0.2.9 !!! Working perfekt !!!!

Unable to flash xperia j to 11.0.A.7.5 firmware using flashtool

I have tried several times to flash my xperia j to 11.0.a.7.5 firmware using flashtool. But every time i failed. I have added XJ to flashtool using a zip file provided by another xda member kishenpj21. The log file is:

It says it right there, be sure you're not in MTP mode.Go to settings>xperia>connectivity>set from MTP to MSC mode and flash.

Ur problem. Is that u are connecting. Ur phone before selecting firmware so. Connect it when asked by flash tool......

Flashtool does nothing after showing this "Flashing data" massage for a time being. There was no progress in the progress bar. It remained in 0%.
kushalbhalodia, can u provide me a full and detail tutorial which is specially on flashtool for xperia j so that i can update my phone? I have been unable to update the phone even using the sony pc campanion and sony update service

this xperia neo user http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997620 had a similar problem he just used seus to sort it (repair phone feature will be best)

but for me, SPC, SEUS and flashtool are failed update. Either they shows an error or stop functioning as stated in earlier post of this thread. but why..? Then, how will i update my phone?

have you tried a different ftf. or the extracted update service that hard installs the firmware

I assume you waited patiently as PC Companion/SEUS downloaded the update. So the raw update files are in your PC right now!!
All you've to do to make your own ftf file is to follw the procedure here...

Bricked x10

Hi, first of all, i know there are lots of post about bricked phones, trust me, i've seen most of them but none of it helped me and i am kind of fraking out. I got a Sony x10 a few weeks ago and I loved it. I upgraded it to Andoird 2.3.3, rooted it, installed xRecovery, etc. But yesterday I tried to install Android ICS, for that I had to unlock bootloader. Read a lot of post and started, and finally used a method which uses kernel downgrade, a batch program and the kernel upgrade, but guess what, it didn't work, couldn't flash kernel upgrade after all. What freaks me out is that I can't install any ftf either, flashtools keeps showing ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed". Tried using update service, tried with many ftf files and flashtools. Nothing happens. Phone just vibrates a little bit longer than normal when I turn it on and nothing else. It also turn the green led on when connecting to the charger and flash mode seems to work.
I am desperate, I had to do a lot to get a phone like this and now it doesn't even boot with the SE logo. Thanks and I hope someone has the solution.

That one should be easy to solve When you choose an ftf file to flash in firmware selection window you have to check "No final verification". That worked for me
P.S. also try to post your threads in the right section

U read a lots, but why didnt u unlock using flashtool plugins? It's easier.

I want to flash the newest 5.1.1 firmware for my Xperia D2303 and i can't do it. I reinstalled all drivers, flashtools etc and again and again i have this problem. In Device Manager is everything OK, no yellow "!", everything working fine.
Any tips? I google it since 2 days, found lot of tips but nothing worked for me.

click menu devices > devices sync > manual sync (require internet connection) wait until done
or download this file: https://github.com/Androxyde/devices/archive/master.zip and then extract to folder *:\Users\*\.flashTool\devices\ , and you can try to flash again

[PLEASE HELP] Flash tool problem: Flash stopped with no red error

I'm trying to downgrade my xz from 8.0 to 7.1.1
The flash tool I 'm using is 0.9.24.4 and 0.9.28.0. I had already unlock the bootloader pf my xperia xz, all the drivers had be setup.
When I try to connect my phone to my PC it always shows the following situation :

I had check that there is no problem with my cable. So I had tried the other version. On 0.9.23.0.
Everything is the same, but in 0.9.23.0 it shows the following:

I had also tried 0.9.18.6, and I think it's too old and doesn't work for XZ.

Are you using win8.1? In that release, the driver always gives errors I switched to Windows 10, and i've improved this error
