The Sm-N920F wasn't released. The SM-N920C is the international variant. If you have an 'F' variant then it means your phone was either a sprint or Verizon variant and was taken to China for the technicians to root and install a custom firmware which is like a mixture of Verizon and sprint. They did that in order to network unlock the phone to be able to support all carriers. That explains why there are no firmwares for your phone. Your best bet is to flash the sprint firmware and even when you do that am pretty sure your phone will be locked to sprint again. So you won't get reception. Do that at your own risk for I won't be responsible if you fry your phone

Which international variant of Note Edge will work with AT&T LTE/4G

Hi, I would like to buy an unlocked (carrier/region) Note Edge. Can some one suggest the variant I should buy that will work with AT&T 4g/LTE bands in USA.
SM-N915F
SM-N915G
SM-N915T
Etc?
I don't think that is possible, as each countries have different band. That's why most international/factory unlocked phones don't have 4g/Lte capability. 3g and some lte is the most you are going to get with an international SM-N915F
Best bet would be to buy out an Att phone, and request them to unlock it so you have the 4g/Lte in the states.
I believe its a 30day period or so when the account is open before they give you the code. I know t-mobile policy is 3-4 weeks.

go with the 915T (tmobile)
tmobile edge is the only one that has an unlocked bootloader (you can flash any rom, etc that is made for the EDGE)
the ATT, Verison, Sprint, etc are bootloader locked, and you cant unlock them as far as i know
Tmobile one, once its unlocked, thats it,, a world of possibilities in your hands.
Thanks. But why not SM-N915F the european or SM-N915G Asian version? are you saying those are also boot loader locked?

I am an att customer currently in Kuwait and I purchased the 915F because the LTE does crossover to them. I looked at the LTE bands and 2 out of 3 of them are the same. You just need to ensure you put the correct apn in.
I hope this helps.
The Note edge 915G will work with ATT LTE/4G
I have that model on Tmobile 4G LTE and it works fine. Since the update they took out the Lte icon and replaced it with 4G. But when you check the status menu it says LTE connection Type.
Is there a root for the Verizon note edge? If there isnt ...could I use a different model number with Verizon, and if so which one could I use. I would like to be able to root and bootloader unlock. Thanks

The only root for Verizon Note Edge is with the developer edition. And no you can not use any other Note Edge variant on Verizon.

to get lollipop, you can use either. Not sure if the TMO sim would work with the ATT phone. But you wont be able unlock the ATT phone.

To get the AT&T lollipop update on a tmobile phone you will need to use Kies or Odin 3 to flash it as it won't recognize the tmobile Sim when attempting to look up AT&T servers for the update.

[Q] CAN install the ROM STOCK of G900F galxy A G900V ???HELP ME

Hello why I write is that I have a verizon galaxy s5 g900v
since the operator has full bloatware can not even use the dual bosster copartir hospot anyway.
G900f was investigating and has the same core processor , GPU , all equal to g900v both are g4 lte
My big question was could flash the rom stock of g900f in g900v note I do not want to root simply whether there is the possibility to load the rom ,, ... Attentive to their thanks- answers.
Lol I need information true ...no fake
Short answer: NO!
Long answer:
Since the G900F is the general-purpose, worldwide, unbranded GS5 model, it can be activated on a large variety of carriers, and its firmware will work with many providers around the world. Verizon, however, is not one of them. A G900v has firmware that is customized by Verizon AFTER Samsung has customized the version of Android running on it. Verizon does this for whatever business reasons they choose.
You can try to flash (install) the G900F's ROM on a G900V, but the specialized bootloader on the G900V will likely cause it to be soft (or hard) bricked, wherein the G900V enters a bootloop because it has encountered software that it doesn't know what to do with.
As such, you can NOT install the G900F's stock ROM on a G900V (which carries the Verizon branding).

HI, i m Mani Singh From India.
I want to share my experience with all of you regarding G900F ROM in to G900V.
Now i have 2 Pcs Samsung Galaxy S5 G900V.(According to the command i.e-Downloading Mode(Volumedown+Home+Power key ).But both S5 Shows in Settings -About Phone-Model no-SM-G900F, Andriod version -4.4.2,Baseband Version-G900FXXU1ANCG,.
It means that the parent model is G900V .
1-My First S5---One day due to some network and heatup problem in my first phone i Flash with G900VVRU2BOG5_G900VVZW2BOG5_VZW, by odin3 v3.09. and it convert it into lollipop 5.0 G900V Verizon Mobile completely.
But,
2-My Second S5-- this mobile working fine on G900FXXU1ANCG As it was. It means that there is a way by which we can flash G900F ROM into G900V Phone , i have this phone . but what is the way to do it??? its need to know us. if anyone know something about it then Please share your experience.
Conclusion- a G900F ROM work fine in G900V model. then someone did flash it with G900FXXU1ANCG,
Thanks & Best Regards
Mani Singh
I also have G900FXXU1ANCG firmware working well on G900v!

I bought a g900v with G900f firmware. It works well but has some bugs. It messes up my SD card, obviously i can't update, privacy mode doesn't work. I would love to reset to g900v stock firmware. Is this possible? And how would that affect its use in East Africa?

Which S6 to buy?

I'm already using the Verizon S6 but I'm thinking of moving my plan to At&t. My S6 and my wife's iPhone 6 are having issues with dripping calls because if there is a week 4g signal the phone drops to 1x and my drop the call. I am tired of CDMA and want to have the freedom to use any phone.
I really like the S6. I'm rooted and I easily get a full day out of my phone now. I want to buy a unlocked version of this phone to use on at&t. Which is the better unlocked version? Can I root any of the stock Roms on this phone or do I need to stay away from a particular version of ROM that may not be root able.
Also are the boot loaders unlocked?

Most of the phones like branded companies come with bootloader locked! U can easily unlock and the procedure is specific to phone models (but most of the phones with fastboot mode follow same code set except the I'd, it's unique for a model). Once your bootloader is unlocked and you are on a custom recovery you need not bother much. U just have to flash supersu zip and you are rooted (no matter what rom you are on).

If you wanna keep root try a t Mobile. Att is locked bootloader alike verizon. Right now on 5.02 you can root but on 5.1.1 dont think so. I have a tmo variant and im using europes 920f custom roms.

Flash T-Mobile S7 ROM on AT&T S7

Hey XDA,
I just recently purchased a AT&T S7 (SM-G930A). I also just recently found out that AT&T doesn't push updates to non AT&T network phones. I am using the phone with T-Mobile and I was wondering if it was possible to flash the T-Mobile stock rom without tripping Knox or anything of that sort. I remember being able to do this to my AT&T Note 2 back in the day. If it is possible, can someone kindly link me to the file and instructions on how to flash the stock ROM from T-Mobile? Thanks!

Note 5 verizon to tmobile or unlocked international

Hello
I currently have a note 5 verizon and I want to know if I could just flash stock Tmobile OR International Firmware to it so i can get more support for wifi calling etc...
If possible which version should I go with I know there isnt a SM-N920(u) like other newer models that is unlocked firmware but I have seen international fimrware
Or should I just go with Tmobile ( but will bootloader be locked after flashing)
thanks for responses
Not possible. If you want WiFi calling on T-Mobile, buy the T-Mobile version. These phones are not cross-flashable.
