[Completed] system unmount - XDA Assist

Hell everyone am not a tech but just an Android user with a broblem.l OK, I own an ainol numy 3g Chinese version. I came with 1gb ROM 4gb storage and I install a 16gb SD card. My problem is every thing I down load is going on a 1 GB internal memory storage. And the 4gig storage is there untouched and it doesn't give you option to choose where to store your data or downloads. However the sd card was being recognised but I could not download to it, again no option but at least one could see the sdcard is mounted. All of a sudden the sdcard was unmounted and the phone wouldn't see it still inserted.
So I decide to root the phone and install Root explore to check if I can detect the sauce of the problem. First thing was I try to write to edit bold.fstab and Rexp reported that the system is in mounted. Same thing for the 4gig storage and the sd card. So I downloaded adb tool. When I try to check for my system adb reported that the system is in available. Go back to root explorer it reported that my USB is in mounted. Can any one help me to solve my problem. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Unsufficient storage available problem

Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 5830i and today I bought a new SD card because the old one was crap. I had this problem before, I have it now. When I try to download an application from the Android Market, there is always this error ''There is unsufficient storage available''. I checked and I had 23 free MB of Device memory and 1.8 GB free on my SD card. I read a lot of articles about this problem and tried many ''solutions'' and nothing fixed it. I will be really, really thankful if anyone can help me fix this. Cheers!
Try MarketFix by Felipe Aaon
You could also use Link2sd to make room on your internal storage.
the error you are facing is because once your internal storage is filled by approx. 85-90%, it shows the error - Insufficient Storage available
Try moving your apps to sd-card from settings/apps. if you moved them already, have you rooted your phone? If yes, then you can partition your sd-card to make space on internal storage. this can be done either Minitool Partition software for PC or through your CWM or TWRP recovery(needs root and custom recovery flashed)
what it does is, it takes a part of your sd card and converts it for internal storage.
If you have problem with the Playstore, you can root and install a newer version of the playstore. try this though i may not be sure about this
Google for the method as i cannot posts links currently
Cheers

[Completed] [Q] MT6592 Re-Partition

Hi Guys,
I have a MT6592 Based phone (SKK Phoenix X1) which indicates having 8GB internal storage. But going into Storage details shows that I have the following:
Internal Storage: 0.98 GB
Phone Storage: 5.28 GB
System: 787 mb
I am able to use the internal storage for apps but have no option to install or even move apps to the phone storage (Only in SD).
I would like to know if there is an APK / application that would help to have the storage repartitioned?
There was a guide on how to do it by hexing but I'm no good in calculations. There is also a pre-hexed EBR (Generic I think) but i do not think it would work (different file size, also some comments says they got soft bricked).
I would at least want to have 4GB or 5GB on the internal storage and the rest goes to Phone storage. (It would be good if System could be adjusted as well. 4GB internal, 1.5GB System and the rest is Phone Storage)
I have attached a copy of my EBR1 and EBR2 as well as the scatter file. I think these are required based on other threads.
Any assistance you may give in regards to this would be appreciated.
I doubt repartitioning is an option so id recommend trying towelroot or some other means (your phone doesn't have a specific rooting method, ask me for more info if that doesn't work) . Then you can use an app such as link2sd to move apps. Good luck
N.b. your device might already be rooted, many of those type usually are. Just install supersu or root checker to check and if not try my method above

Yes, My device is already rooted. But Link2SD (even with premium) is not an option though. It doesn't even see the storage in its list (it sees the external SD as the one for OTG storage). This leaves the Phone storage excluded from the options.
I've tried re-partitioning with my previous phone (MT6582: allocated 2.5gb to internal) and it worked well so i was thinking of the same here.
Thanks for the reply though.

Try this app to make SD Card visible. If that doesn't work, your only other option is to see if anyone in the Q&A forums can help. I hope you get it sorted

[Completed] I can't partition internal memory.

Got a Tab10DUALC Sunstech tablet (RK3066 chip, 8 GB Flash NAND).
As I started to install some apps it quickly became out of space, checking storage settings I found out that internal storage was about 1gb full and Nand flash 5.26gb free.
So I started to search how to root it and after a lot of trials and errors I got to flash CWM and root it.
Now, I wanted to make a partition out of that 5gb non used space but when I tried that with CWM recovery (advanced, partition) despite having doing it correctly, when the tab restarted it all reseted back to the way it was, this is, no ext2 or whatever.
I've tried just about everything, Link2SD tells me there's no SD CARD 2nd Part. I went to recovery and mounted USB and tried partition it with Mini Tool Partition Wizard and while succeed, when restarting, the tab reported bad SD so made me reformat (Link2SD reported unmountable 2nd Part) so it all came back to the way before, no partition.
Could it be some safe measure or something that doesn't allow me to get this partitioned? I've tried just about everything and can't come up with any other ideas. I mean, I don't want to use my only mini SD card if I can help it, I just don't understand why I can't use that extra 5gb while running out of space on the internal memory.
I also tried moving a few apps to SD and got all kind of errors like not loading.

Partitioned sdcard not being read properly

Hello all. Not sure if this question has ever been posed but I have a problem that deserves the attention of the pros here at XDA. I recently purchased a tablet with Android 5.1.1 lollipop with 16gig internal storage and 1gig of ram. After loading the device up with apps I started noticing that I was rapidly running out of room. I installed a 32gig sdcard formatted as fat32. After rooting the device and installing Link2sd I came to find out that this would only work with an ext partition. So I reformatted the card with two partitions, the first being in fat32 and the second in ext4. So far the device seems to be running pretty smoothly and was able to link all app files to the sdcard via link2sd. The problem here is when I check the storage in the system settings it shows all of the available space in the fat partition as expected. When I check the storage in link2sd, es file explorer, or any of the other file manager apps, it shows that there is only 502meg available on the sdcard. I was wondering if anyone here would be familiar with a problem like this and could advise me as to what I could do to fix this. Thanks
