Any way to hide the pattern on the lock screen on Marshmallow 6.01? It's so easy for others to see it because it's visible. I'm surprised there's no way to hide it.
If you are using a pattern, you don't care about security anyways.

I like using the Pattern Lock feature and think this is sufficient when unlocking it.
When I enable Pattern Lock I still have a swipe to perform before, so I have to swipe and then do the Pattern Lock. Is there anyway to remove the swipe?
Thanks.
CM7 based roms should have an option to disable the lockscreen when lockpattern is enabled. Works in HyperSensation, not sure about other roms.
Don't think it's possible on the stock however.
I have activated patterned security lock but the slider lock screen is still there which is very annoying. How can I disable the slider lock screen?
I'm not sure if there solution for this as everyone was looking for one aswell.
You may try AntiLock apps. Some of my friends are using this. Temporary solution.
I'm kind of obsessive as to how perfect things are, so here we go.
With WidgetLocker on my N4, if I have a lockscreen with WidgetLocker, then the default pattern lock, before the pattern lock shows up, it flashes to the home screen, then the pattern lock shows up, which bothers me.
Is there a way to fix this, or as a workaround, an app that automatically locks every app/shortcut with a pattern lock?
Thanks!
Some months ago I came across a lockscreen idea which didn't put a separate lockscreen on the top screen, instead it simply locked the visible screen as is, and allowed display updates to show as though the screen isn't locked. A simple gesture unlocks the screen. I thought it a great idea but could not disable my own phone's lockscreen to use this app. Now I can disable my phone's own lockscreen but now I can't find this app!
Help please?
Is this it?

"Show notification icons on the Always On Display screen if a screen lock type has been set."
Why on earth is that specific requirement needed at the end? I want it activated during AOD even without using some type of lock screen.
Is there a way around this? I just want the small notifications to pop up underneath it.
AOD clearly works without having a screen lock.
I was wondering the same thing. I finally landed on using fingerprint to unlock just so that I could see notifications on AOD.
