Hello
I am having a hard time with my n920p since a few days.
All sensors are down. *#2663# gives a FAIL, updating the hub fails. MCU name: NG.
Flashing different roms nothing. Deleting cache data anything deletable.
21 sensors detected through cpuX. Though no data received.
Opened the bugger nothing visible. All Cables in place.
Read somewhere that reballing the MCU was the key. Though i don't want to mess with the electronics yet, because i still hope it's a software issue.
Any Thoughts?any ideas?

I am also having the same Issue and am almost certain that it was due to a ROM that I installed on the device that wrote over a key component of Samsung firmware. I have unrooted and gone back to my original stock 5.11 to no avail, I then upgraded to Marshmallow OTA with my fresh, unrooted factory firmware to no avail. I even went as far as installing multiple different versions of factory sprint firmware (closely following double install instructions) and I'm still stuck with an issue that I'm sure is only software related.
I am more than willing to do whatever it takes to get this problem fixed so if there is -anyone out there who has some insight please contact me back!!!!!!

Hello everyone. I already wrote this message before but somehow it didn't post.
The problem:
After a software update with Odin, the GPS does not lock on to satellites. It finds them faster than before, but doesn't lock
After seeing this, I've tried multiple software versions (KE 7/8/4 etc - 500 mb+ files) Still the same. Even tried hard reset.
Played around with lbslabtests when I used these versions. No change there helped.
What should I do?

Flash latest radio?
and how do i do that an where can i get a radio image?
Hello.
I am also having exactly the same problem. I've flashed mine with LR 6.0, then GPS cant lock anymore. LR 6.1 still gives the same condition.
How to fix this?
New to this site but have done days of searches for my problem. Since JB update my bluetooth is not working and I have also found out Airplane mode is messed up also. Both will have slight responses for a short time after booting , then nothing. I down graded back to ICS and I get some functionality and have actually paired a device but does not work correctly. Asus wants the tablet sent back , but it sure seems to me as it is Op system causing all of this. It was working fine before. I am new to messing around with android , So one question is since I down graded to ICS 4.0 does the actual device firmware downgrade completely also ? I see that Bluetooth Version lowered and other versions lowered , but could something else not get back to that version , some type of Bios type settings? ( I was told no Bios in android ,but is there something like it ? )
So does anyone have the same problems , any answers or thoughts ?
Is there a way to erase everything completely and go back to the exact files software , kernals etc. as when in the box it came in.
Sure seems to act like a software driver type problems.
What are the "Source Code" that are offered on the Asus Site ? Can those used to be used to Factory fresh the device ?
I do not want to void any warrenty , but before I send back I want to see if it is Hardware or software.
Thanks

Source code is only useful for software developers. To restore your device as close to factory state as possible, install the full firmware package of your desired version, as you already did when downgrading, and wipe data.
Things not restored by this method:
- device-dependent settings (e.g. serial number, sensor calibration data)
- DRM key
- Partition table
These usually cannot be changed by the user and therefore do not need to be restored anyway.
My main concern is the kernal, I feel that this may be the cause of my problems , if indeed the hardware does not have a problem. So when I restored to ICS , Did the kernal complete revert to factory also ? I understand now that the Kernal is the ( Bios) of Android , takes comands from software and tells hardware what to do . ( Right ? )
I am finding that the "Factory Reset " from from "Setting" does not truely reset all settings ( I set a Sound Setting before Reset , and the same setting was "on" after the reset ), therefore a "Firmware" reset back to ICS may leave the reason my bluetooth and airplane is not working.
So is there a way to use the "blob" with-out rooting or causing a warrenty issue ?
The kernel is part of the full firmware, so it is flashed when you install the firmware. It is the core of the operating system and also contains all the hardware drivers. The PC BIOS would be more comparable to the tablet's bootloader, as it only initializes the hardware and loads the kernel.
Your problem description is completely worthless. If you expect help, state exactly what you did, which error messages appear, and describe in detail what does not work and what you expected.
I thought i expalined better. I will try again. I used my bluetooth on my tablet connected to my phone and sent photos to tablet from phone. All was fine, Did not try and use bluetooth again untill a week later ( 3 days after OTA JB update ) now the bluetooth does not work and I see that Airplane mode is not working correctly either.
Since this happened right after the JB Update , It made since to me it is an update problem. I was wanting to go back to the exact state before update to see if errors were gone. I have re installed ICS and had better response from bluetooth , was able to pair a device but after pairing would not work ( headphones , sound stayed on tablet ) .
With these findings it would lead me to beleave two things , the "Firware install of ICS " left traces of the newer Kernal , that caused the problem or the Tablet hardware is the problem.
does that make more since to you ? Sorry about the first Question. I have let the tablet do the OTA back to JB and still in the same situation. I have an RMA set up , but I just like to know for sure the cause before sending back.
Thanks for you time.

Ok, Well thanks for trying ? I do not have any other info. to tell you then my last reply , that is all that I can explain , What is wrong what I did and what I was trying to figure out by process of elimination.
I accidentaly flashed the edge version of twrp to my regular s6, 920r4. Now my touchscreen is reversed along the xaxis. When I dial *#2663#, nothing happens, only a dialtone goes on. Any suggestions?
Reflash regular S6 5.1.1 stock ROM via odin.
I did that, still no fix. Then I did a full reset, no fix.
Bring your S6 back to Samsung for repair.

Obviously my knox is tripped after flashing TWRP, would samsung be able to fix this anyway?
I hope so...
In other related threads, members were able to use the "secret codes" to update the TSP firmware. Could I perhaps install say the firmware for the 920F, then access the secret codes on that firmware, and in that process update the TSP firmware?
Flash this S6 regular S920R4 5.1.1 stock ROM instead of G920F:

Posting this for future reference for anyone that comes across this issue. The instructions below resolved my reversed issue.
@ScottBroker - If that happens again, you will not need to exchange your device. In the dialer, input *#2663# and select the "TSP FW update (General)". In order to do this, you would have to actually press "TSP FW update (Internal Storage)" since your horizontal touch is reversed.
This did not do anything for me. Could i just use the right one instead and all should go well? or there be another solution?

I finally got this issue fixed after almost half a year. I updated the firmware to a newer version, using the software update on the phone. My issue is finally fixed. I think that perhaps the several months new software update was different enough to require a complete changing of the recovery software.
Or at least something like that!
No longer will I be using my old s4, running liquidsmooth, that restarts 3-4 times a day. With a shattered screen at that!

A year after OP, I've ran into the same issue as the OP.
I accidentally flashed an edge kernal (I think, might've just been an incorrect baseband) on my flat S6 (920t). Tried things from flashing correct kernals to wiping to Odin restoring stock firmware. Nothing worked, then I found this and my problem was resolved in 2.4 seconds. I laughed at myself for this one :silly:
(Note: I had a TWRP backup, but didn't try restoring because it was from a previous firmware and I'm not sure it would've worked, which is why I searched for other solutions...and found this one!)
Hi I have got same problem. but afters tiping *#2663# nothing hapend. What can I do?

Which model do you have? The dialer menus might be specific to the model/carrier, I'm not certain about that though.
After rebooting my phone couple of times it works. Thanks!!!

No problem, glad it worked out and you can use your phone regularly now!
As I have found multiple threads for the same issue, I figured I would post the info in a few of them so if anyone else come looking for the issue and fix - they can get right to the howto instead of digging through multiple threads like I did. More info about the issue was found on the following link/s - https://1024kb.co.nz/galaxy-s6-reversed-touchscreen/ & https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62289392&postcount=9
You DO not have to flash any stock roms or other versions of twrp to fix this, as it will NOT fix the issue, as near as I can tell something corrupted or changed the setting somewhere on the hidden section of the phone's firmware. All you need to do is access a hidden engineers menu, click on a button and your done.
The hidden adjustment setting is accessible through keypad *#2336# (reverse-entered as #*2114*) (you have to do this as the touchscreen is still reversed so you are unable to enter *#2336# normally). Once the task completed I then was able to press the back key and have it function as normal which confirmed the fix.
suddenly i bought this phone second hand. then when I tested Turning on my bluetooth it won't turn on.
Is there anyone experiencing the same problem?
I already did troubleshoot and performed this steps:
1. Wipe cache of Bluetooth Applications on System apps in settings
2. Force stop Bluetooth Applications on System apps in settings
3. Restart my phone
4. Wipe Cache on stock Recovery & restart my phone
5. Restore Factory Settings on Recovery
but suddenly bluetooth still won't open when touching it on notification panel nothing happens even directly on the settings toggling the bluetooth won't work. :crying:
my phone is untouch on rooting world.
So my questions is;
1. Will rooting and flashing rom can solve my bluetooth problem?
2. Is this a hardware problem?
3. Is there a separate chip or module for bluetooth on the motherboard of S7 edge?
to all XDA members I'm asking if you have an idea on this matter please feel free to reply to this post.
thanks you so much!
Rooting and flashing a ROM shouldn't be necessary, if you're willing to lose data I would just recommend a full flash via Odin as it keeps you on stock firmware, doesn't trip knox etc. There's stock firmware files and a guide on www.updato.com
Sometimes the OTA updates can be buggy and end up with issues like these. It could be a hardware problem, but I suspect it's probably more likely to just be something wrong with the firmware or bootloader.

I tried flashing newest stock nougat firnware XTC csc.
Tried it using ODIN
But still bluetooth won't turn on.
Can you say that our problem is hardware failure? But I think if it's a hardware issue then wifi should not work too. Because wifi and bluetooth is on the same chip module. ???
Update: I've talk to numerous technician and they think its not a hardware issue since my wifi is working. They said that wifi and bluetooth is on the same micro chip module. So if it is hardware issue on the bluetooth wifi should not work too. ???????? @dhawal4u
Same Problem here. Since 2 months after trying Badman Rom my Bluetooth doenst work. Now I load Stock Rom, Bootloader, Modem but no solve for the Problem
Hello there,
Please forgive me if i posted this thread on the wrong place.
-I would've not posted a thread here unless this got serious, so i own a Samsung Galaxy S6, it's 1 year old phone, when i first got it, i used it normally like everyone else and had no problem with it, but my curiosity got me to root the phone, i still did not get any problem with it until i chose to add a ROM. I used NNE 5.1 S8 port and it was working well until it got my phone broken somehow.
-My phone started acting really strange after 2 months of activity of that new ROM, my phone just started restarting randomly and it got me worried, i thought it's an application problem so i first just factory reset it. It seemed it was not the problem on an application, so i chose to change my firmware to a stock one. I searched up recently on the newest firmware for S6 and i found out it's: XEF (France) , PDA (AP): G920FXXU6ERC1 and CSC : G920FOXA6ERC1 on 2018-03-22. I Downloaded 4 files: BL,AP,CP,CSC , and i found out about PIT on one of the posts in this forum (Filename: SM-G920F-ZEROFLTE_EUR_OPEN.pit).
-Before i flashed with Odin, i wiped System, Data, Cache and Dalvrik Cache. The firmware worked well but after 1 hour it started doing the same thing but now differently. It happend to me only 1 time that it froze up on an application, but i think that is just an app problem. The main problem is that when i lock my screen, i cannot unlock it anymore, it just freezes there until it restarts after a short period of time. After the restart, it just keeps going, restarts, asks for pin, restarts and so on.
I tried removing the sim card and putting it back in, did not work.
I tried Safe mode, still same.
Model of phone: SM-G920F
Current firmware: XEF (G920FXXU6ERC1)
Android version: Nougat (7.0)
If you can help me, or you know something about this problem, please repost here, i would be really grateful since this is my only phone
Ininstall twrp backup everything most important efs partition.
Install samsung switch and pray that it asks you to do an update. If not try to flash a diferent version of nougat for example November security patch and try again with samsung switch

How could samsung switch possibly help?
I did flash it with different versions already, but no luck :/.
I've been praying a lot for this lately but it is not working lol
Please Bump this!
try doing this.
1) go here: https://updato.com/
2) choose download 2 roms. 1 nougat and another marshmallow (to my knowledge, stock roms are one file. no more splits and unless otherwise stated... no need for pit)
3) first flash nougat using oden
4) try the phone for a few some time.
if after a set amount of time, phone works fancy and no issues present then it's solved.
if not... install marshmallow. then try again.
if all this fails then...
install nougat. as soon as possible afterwards install twrp.
boot into twrp and just leave it there. my twrp locks after a while and screen goes dark until user interaction (just like it's supposed to)
if the same thing happens then its a hardware issue... probably... (i have had my main board fail... kinda similar not similar issue... hope you dont have the same issue and that its just software related)
good luck.
In my case every time there was an update available it would download the whole firmware and by doing so you would get the most fresh and updated version. Also it updates every partition to match
