4G Mobile data problem after GEM-702L upgrade - Huawei MediaPad X2

Hello,
I have upgraded with the TW b202 on my GEM-702L international ed.
I have only one slight problem, there seems to be some kind of registration problem to the 4G network.
By default it connects to 4G (sign right left) but mobile data wont work (it is on and APN correct).
If I go to network settings and change from LTE to WCDMA/3G then mobile data works.
If I then go to network settings again and change to LTE, then it connects to 4G and mobile data works.
After restarting the phone the same problem persists.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

It works great on my 702 with yoigo 4g.
Try to set network company manually instead auto.

[Q] 3G not working.

I have been trying to use 3G for a while and it is never connecting to 3G. It always works on EDGE.
These are the things I tried:
1. Changed the Mobile Networks setting to 4G(recommended) and 3G.
2. Dialled *#*#4636#*#*, and tried selecting all the options. On LTE and SCDMA options it doesn't select any network. But on all other options it selects EDGE network.
Subscriber and circle: Vodafone India, Karnataka Circle, Bangalore.
All are welcome to help.

Had the same issue with a network in China and fixed it by flashing a small file.

I'm on ColorOS. Not sure if you're on CM11S or another rom but it's worth a try.

I get the same issue, i sit on edge a lot, unless i get good reception it will go to 3g. With my nexus 4 it was never on edge.
Thank you for all your help.
It so happened that, after I updated to 33R, suddenly my 3G (HSPA) started working. And it usually connects to it, but when the signal isn't strong it connects to EDGE, but I am least bothered about that. Thanks

Stock S6 on UK 3 network how to set to 2G only network?

Hi all,
I'm on UK's 3 (Three) network and just took an upgrade to S6. Since I'm going to get new Nexus5 I gave the phone to my wife since 3 gives new S6 unlocked my wife is with Vodafone.
The problem is Vodafone sucks in my area and in certain places in my home there is no or very poor network connection. With her previous S5 we selected to use 2G only and she gets full signal.
The problem with S6 you can not chose 2G mode there is no such option as on S5 was. I only get these:
LTE/WCDMA/GSM
(auto connect)
WCDMA/GSM
(auto connect)
WCDMA only
There is no GSM only option as it was on S5. And since WCDMA/GSM is auto connect it prioritizes 3G which is very poor.
About the phone:
All stock from 3 (Three UK) used with Vodafone SIM.
Model: SM-G920F
Android: 5.1.1
Baseband: G920FXXU2BOGE
Kernel: 3.10.61-5012324
Build: LMY47X.G920FXXU2BOG8
Is there any way to force 2G only mode without rooting the phone or changing the ROM?
I tried Telinfo app it doesn't launch giving the error message: Your device does not have the required native Google API. (S) And this app works no problem on my Nexus5 with 5.1.1
When I try to input *#*#4636#*#* in dallier nothing happens.
Please Help!
Thank You
I read somewhere here that Nova launcher has a widget to select GSM only. Not tried it myself as I'm also with 3 UK and have good reception. Hope this helps

3G and H+ won't work on T-mobile network

I have a problem 3G or H+ won't work. I'm on T-mobile in the Phoenix, AZ area. I have the L29. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe post their APN settings. This is becoming a big headache. I had the B170 build. Then I updated to B180... same issues still can't get it working... 2G works and 4G works no problem. But all data service goes away when it goes to 3G. (or maybe it's so slow it times out) Not really sure what to do at this point, anyone have any ideas?
Thank You for helping!
Update to B320 they added a 3rd modem which resolved the issue.
Also check the internet settings. Choose the one with LTE/GSM/WCDMA (3G) and more.

Network problem

In my V10 Sim1: Jio4G & Sim2: Airtel4G, data on on airtel, but from my Jio I can't able to make any call. At same location Jio working fine on Moto G4+, but in honor V10 there is hardly any network bar available. In low network area there is problem but other phone working fine at same location. I think it's a bug, please help me on this.

I have the same setup.. No issues whatsoever for the past 2 weeks..
Jio needs data to be on for it to work btw.. You need to enable data on it..

I see that I mentioned ur other phone is a moto.. The aosp network indicator isn't very accurate.. Check the signal strengths for both phones using jio from a weak location.. It's there is settings, about phone, status, network and there should be network strength there in dbm.. Check it and see if there is actually any difference between the 2 phones..

LTE B20 PROBLEM. Can not answer a call if you have a B20 LTE network.

ATT and Mi Mix 3

Hello XDA community,
I have a Mi Mix 3 Palace Edition phone and I am using AT&T for my carrier. The phone came with a Chinese ROM but I flashed it with a Global one. I have been trying to get 4G + LTE to work on the phone but so for all I am able to get is 3G. I have contacted ATT and was told that my account was not setup for it. So ATT's advanced technical support made sure the IME/my account on the phone was LTE enabled. I am still stuck on 3G. I have selected the correct APN for it but I do not connect.
What am I missing?
Preferred network Type?
preferred network LTE.

Did you checked if your apn is correct?
Try selecting 4G network manually. I faced issue like that initially with ATT MVNO. After seleting 4G network manually I am geetting 4G+
In the Settings, go to About Phone, and tap the storage until it brings you to the SIM and WiFi screen. Tap on the Phone Information for the SIM you are using and set that Network Type to UMTS/LTE.
AT&T blocks any device you did not purchase directly through them from using VoLTE and WiFi Calling. 4G is also LTE, so if you see the 4G icon, that is also LTE and 4G+ is also LTE-A.
