I have a GT-I900 running Resurrection Remix kitkat 4.4.x based rom. Happy with it except I want to remove the persistent google search bar at the top of the screen. There are instructions for doing this for the ICS based rom but not for this. There are no apparent settings to remove the bar, despite the screenshots in the relevant thread showing an absence of this bar.
Please can someone tell me how to remove the bar on this rom, or if impossible, whether there is another good 4.4.x based rom for the GT-I900 which can allow this.

Settings > Home Launcher > select trebuchet > settings > Home Screen > Uncheck Search bar option
and you're done.

I have this up to Trebuchet, but there are no setting for trebuchet? You can only select Trebuchet or Google Now Launcher. Where is the Trebuchet settings?
......ahhhhhhhh, found it. Back to home screen, press and hold until settings option shows up at bottom. Why can't thid be easy to find from the settings for the whole phone?
hello I installed the rom on notes 2 dr.Ketan V.9, and I can not set the background black when I open the settings, can be done? if you can how? because I've tried and I can not?
A quick search came up with the thread below for the Rom you mentioned. A search did not come up with anything specific to your question. However in the OP of the Rom I linked it mentions making the choice of BG ( Background ) Transparency in AROMA. As you did not mention your specific Carrier, make sure that the Rom I linked is the same one that you mentioned.

I solved the problem, maybe it was a bug, in fact as soon as I upgraded to the new version 10, it was resolved.

First make a backup & make sure you can restore it
I am not responsible for bricked devices
Download Rom from below
Delete Apps & media manually
Make space above 45 mb
Wipe data
wipe cache
wipe delvic cache
install from zip & reboot
Cannot be flashed on stock odexed rom
Flash on any custom rom
have a backup & software version 1.2.x of a62 try on your own risk!

Here are some
Only 1 call button well stock had two & the single one calls sim1 the contact button left to the dial button is for sim2
well i tried to port single sim dial from a65 but failed even changing all 100+ hex codes in twelve key entry & many smali edits
Some apps like Root explorer & Poweramp which have white text instead depending on framework look awful

what is non touch screen bug?my friend had micromax a26 just changed default launcher and flashed cwm recovery it now has nonresponsive touch can it be solved? if yes then can i flash a62 roms over them link to the same would be really helpful
well buddy problem comes when you format system while flashing rom & when you update busybox
Solution- well download my invincible rom backup from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/custom-rom-invincible-pure-s5-themed-t2840733
extract zip to sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/here & boot into cwm manually with pressing vol- & power button together till you see recovery while its power off
goto backup & restore & select invincible voila you are done
PS- if you got md5 mismatch error delete nandroid.md5 & make a new blank file of same name

do i have to install v1 first?? or i can install all with update only???

first time I use the power safe mode in android lollipop I thought:why this colour?I mean, I don't like it at all
So, my request is if someone can only theme the navbar and system bar in that mode and make a flashable zip so we can change that colour,I'll appreciate it

I've been looking through the web for any rom or Ui modded as android L didn't find
so
is there's CM Theme Chooser available for our core
can we use CM 12 themes for our phone? if possible, how and where to find them
and If I want to mod some for the UI and notification panel and the color of the pop ups background "the sound panel or power panel"
what can I do as a start if I can make it it would be amazing for our galaxy core which files need to be modified and how can I change it
I have the time but I need someone to guide me to the first steps
