Installation instructions

Sure =)
1. make sure you are on a recovery which can flash .img files. I recommend TWRP 2.8.5.0
2. While in recovery go to install, change .zip to img on the bottom right, choose the image and flash the needed recovery which you can find here
3. reboot your phone into recovery
4. F2FS is not mandatory - the install.zip formats /system automatically into F2FS. But as aaz03 recommended to get full feature of F2FS and the ROM format /cache and /data to F2FS as well. You can do that in recovery with wipe - advanced wipe - select cache - click on repair or change file system - click on change file system - choose F2FS and confirm with a swipe. Do that as well for data. But as mentioned you can run /cache, /data in ext4 as well.
5. Flash gapps and you're done.
If you decide to format /data into F2FS make sure you backup everything in internal storage as you'll lose those files etc. in there
Click to collapse
But what if i don't want to use F2FS? Can you please make a ext4 rom?
FOR GOD'S SAKE F2FS IS NOT MANDATORY, THE ROM JUST SUPPORTS IT YOU DON'T HAVE TO FORMAT EVERYTHING TO F2FS TO USE THIS ROM. YOU CAN PERFECTLY USE IT WITHOUT DOING ANY CHANGE TO PARTITIONS! EXT4 IS PERFECTLY WORKING

Awesome mate. I'm a big fan of slimroms!! I'll keep a look out for when the rom is ready. Let me know if you want anything tested. :good:
Can't wait!!!! Great and thanks, if not for the job yet, for the intention!
Sent from my GT-I9305 using XDA Free mobile app
Fingers crossed this one will actually work! Any idea of an ETA?
slimrom is the best, cant wait
Could you say what is the base for this rom? Why exactly you chosen to compile SlimLP, not some other more feature-packed rom? [emoji14]
Just wondering and looking forward to testing a cm based slim lp?!? Sounds interesting and new for me ...can you share your local manifest? Are your sources on github?
can´t wait to test but will the cm12 musicplayer and musicfx be in this rom?
My sources aren't on github.com for the simple reason that I can't upload it, my upload rate is 100kb/s so imagine the time it'd get for 20gb... But I'll upload my local manifest. It'll be based on cm12 as atm we don't have an aosp base so I'll do with what I got.
Why slim ? Because we don't have slim on our device and it's known to work well with optimizations
EDIT: -08 March 2015 : Build started, pray for it

it is uploading or you are building this?
However, SlimLP is less feature-packed than any other ROMs. And I somehow prefer to have aaaaall possible options to configure my phone
I got a Optipop build finished from sources but it doesn't boot...does not even pass the samsung boot logo. I think its because of the kernel, which is DerTeufels CM kernel without changes. Any idea what I have to change and/or which kernel I could/should try? Cm-12-Boeffla 3.0 alpha 9 I have already tried, but with same result ....
One option is Boeffla 3.0 and the other is latest PSN kernel. These two are working for different roms
Well f*ck ,seems like it doesn't found the linux/videodev.h while compiling hwcomposer, i installed libv4l-dev and done the trick to use the new replacement videodev version but still not
when you gonna upload the rom I'm waiting anxiously. @aaz03
When I will find Wtf is going wrong with videodev.h
EDIT: Changelog updated , keep an eye on it i'll update as soon I have news.
SOON...
Guys, I'm just sharing this topic to continue to maintain organization and posture of our forum, this rom is the MokeeOS which was shared by our friend --- in general forum Moto E - Condor (thanks)

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features: (I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.
Downloads official:
CONDOR
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Here
Gapps recommended
http://opengapps.org/
Installation mode :
To install the clean rom:
Download the rom
enters recovery
make all wipes (all)
choose zip from rom and install
you can use a gapps any of its taste since it is for android 7.1
or you can go MokeeCenter after starting rom, there you can download the small gapps integrated into the system and have a lighter and clean rom.
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional, I do not)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go on to install update
let install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.
Big Thanks @martincz for development

Whether mokee ROM noughat and pico gapps can be flashed with out any debloater?
With the updates from December 31, they stopped working google services, try to make a new clean installation but I can not install the gapps, I get error 70 when trying to install the open gapps pico, delta gapps do not work later To install them and I have no idea how to download the gapps from mokee center, return to CM 14.1 to get a solution, it's a shame because I really like this rom

No mate LineageOS don't ships root by default, builders have to add the necessary code to root be builded and i will not do it because i preffer to let users decide about rooted and unrooted rom just like official LineageOS.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

First time installing Lineage to your Redmi 6 Pro, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy Lineage zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of LineageOs:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Great, another lineage update for tulip.
Hope you'll continue "maintaining" this rom, not only stopped on this build ?
Thank you! I have this version of LineageOS, the one back form January (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-6-pro/development/rom-lineageos-16-0-t3892841). Is it safe to dirty flash, or is it better to go for a clean install? I have no GApps btw, though that shouldn't be a problem.
How can I help you to get this unofficial lineageOS realease officially supported for tulip? I am running run the last stable version on my phone and it's great!

No, I always install magisk after the first system boot, to avoid conflicts.
I can confirm that bootloop is caused by gapps, I don't know why but it's related to opengapps only. In order to boot this rom I flashed this minimal package

What Gapps package do you use? I'm also bootlooping when using the opengapps mini package and I really need the opengapps because it has the pixel restore functionality that makes life so much easier when changing ROMs.
