[Completed] Softbricked Fairphone FPU1, can't flash rom - XDA Assist

Since i wanted to use the latest apps, I followed this guide to get Android 4.4.4. a couple of months ago.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/fairphone/orig-development/rom-fairphone-fp1-kitkat-4-4-2-t3243623
Everything was working fine untill 2 weeks ago i got an error saying 'launcher3 stopped working' again and again.
When i tried to downgrade to the stockrom again my phone hardbricked.
I then followed these steps to restore it to Cherry 1.6. (Restoring with flashtool)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Fairphone_Fairphone/Guides#How_to_restore_Fairphone_if_you_totally_bricked_it
This worked. I got the welcome to Fairphone animation etc.
Next i updated to Kola 1.8. and it softbricked...
Now when i try to go in recovery mode, i first get three options: Recovery mode, Fastboot mode or Normal boot.
Whatever i try it just won't boot, the screen lights up slightly indicating a functioning battery etc but that is it
When i go into fastboot mode and try to flash (fastboot flash boot [kola 1.8.zip]) i get a write error. This made me think that maybe i don't have root acces?
I tried sideloading with adb. It says installation complete but still no boot.
Any ideas or should i start saving for FP2?

[Completed] Galaxy S2 booting loop/ corrupted files

Hello,
My S2 keeps rebooting, I had a modified version of cyanogenmode (lollipop, taken from galaxys2root.com ) and one day my phone closed unexpected. I tried rebooting but It was in sort of a loop, so I try reinstalling its original ROM.
I followed the steps, how to flash using odin etc. etc., but when I was supposed to do a wipe data/ cache from recovery mode, my S2 rebooted. After that when I was able to enter in recovery mode, there was an error, E: failed to mount /data. Now, I'm only able to enter in download mode.
What should I do ?
*******************
Things that I did so far:
1. Reinstalling 2 versions of stock firmware (I9100XWLSU_I9100OROLS5 / I9100XWLS8_I9100XXLS8_I9100FOPLS3_HOME)
2. Reinstalling using different versions of odin
3. I've removed the battery for some time (read somewhere that this can make a difference)
no response, I see only the initial logo and then again, reboot
Note:
After I've installed third time it's original rom, there was hope because it displayed the setup to choose the country and to connect to a wi-fi, but after 10 or 15 seconds, back into the loop.
P.S I hope that I explained my problem well, please ask for more details If you think you have the answer to my problem.
Have a nice day.

[Completed] htc one m8 think i soft bricked

i wanted to update from cm 11 to cm13 and in order to do this i thought it might be a good idea to update my twrp. so i installed the twrp update app, dl the update and attempted booting to recovery. it gave me the htc boot screen and said at the top "entering recovery", but it never did. after about 5 min of waiting i shut phone off and attempted to enter recovery manually. did now work. now when i turn phone on it refuses to leave the htc boot screen and if i enter bootloader i can enter hboot or fastboot and turn off but nothing else. i tried to flash twrp from fastboot but phone is not connecting to pc via usb. phone is in fastboot mode, i plug it in, nothing. adb and fastboot is setup on my pc from when i rooted a while back. any suggestions on what to do? btw i dont think debugging is turned on but not sure. didnt know this was going to end up being a giant debacle. usually updates have gone pretty smoothly.

[Completed] Cubot Note S - Stuck into Boot Loop

Hey, guys good afternoon. I have a Cubot Note S which I manage quite stupidly, to brick. The phone was rooted with KingRoot and I accidentally press to update to the latest software version from the Update Center of the phone and before it managed to complete, it showed an "ERROR" message. After that, I stuck into a boot loop. I've been searching the internet for a stock firmware of the phone in a .zip file because the Cubot has something like a stock Recovery mode, which I can boot to, to factory reset my phone, to boot into bootloader or apply an update through an sdcard etc. So far I only found a rom on needrom and it is in .rar and has many other irrelevant files in it. It has instructions below how to perform a clean flash of the ROM, but something goes wrong at the process. Either the SP-DMT (Flash Tool) doesn't work properly or my computer doesn't recognize my phone and I can't find the proper drivers for it. Has anyone ever been in this situation before with a chinese phone? Please help out with this because the cell phone belongs to a dear friend of mine and I can't afford to buy a new one these days. Thank you in advance.

[Completed] Galaxy S3 SGH-i747 - Boot loop - tricky situation(hooking up to pc not an option)

Hi thanks for reading not sure if this is the correct place to post. I'm rather lost on my options and fear that I've essentially totaled my phone.
USB isn't recognized(yes I've updated drivers and confirmed my cord allows data transfer and tried with usb debugging on and off), this is a hand-me-down phone I received rooted, attempted to apply Cyanomod (successful but got the No SIM issue even though I could call and receive texts no data though) proceeded to follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898
However after installing the latest modem my phone went into soft brick - boot looping.
I then decided to wipe Cache - D.Cache - system - Data. After doing this over and over I accidentally wiped internal data as well (fixed this issue by buying a micro SD card today) So now I got all my .zips and roms back where I can still flash.
Still in a boot loop and have read that maybe my recovery (TWRP) could be the cause of this, seeing how I've basically wiped everything multiple times to try and get to the bottom of this.
Is there anyway I can use the Command Terminal IN TWRP to flash a newer version of TWRP ( because I had not used the latest TWRP )
If so can you please give me the command line in which I could use the .img of twrp-3.0.2-0-d2att.img and when going into the Command Terminal at what level should I select?
I really can NOT afford another phone atm and I'm very gracious for any help. I've watched and read many useless videos/articles over the last few days and can't seem to find a video that would involve not using a PC to use Odin.
P.S. - I'm also prepared to go back to stock everything if that's what's called for atm but first this boot loop is the issue. Thanks in advance.

[Completed] Dead Android Logo but No Recovery Menu?

I've been trying to get SuperSU on my new phone for hours yesterday and hours today and it seems that absolutely every method I try has some kind of error somewhere and it's getting extremely frustrating. The only actual root I've been able to accomplish is with Kingroot, but I only wanted to use that to install SuperSU and then uninstall Kingroot with it, but it refused to install so I just uninstalled Kingroot and am back at square one.
After literally hours I finally managed to get ADB to see my LG Pheonix 2 so that I could boot in to recovery mode. That is seemingly the only way to do it (besides Kingroot) because I've found absolutely nothing anywhere specifying how to do this with the buttons on the phone and no known methods for other phone models have worked on mine. Well, I'm finally into it, but to no surprise there's another problem--the dead Android icon is displayed over a black background without the recovery menu. I have some hope left that if I can access the recovery menu I'll be able to root my device with SuperSU. So, with that said, how can I make the recovery menu come up when I'm on the screen with the dead Android logo?
Also, my phone doesn't seem to have any fastboot or bootloader page either. All it does is reboot the device like normal
Any help would be extremely appreciated :crying:
