Hi all,
I am having some problems to pair my Samsung Gear S2 and my phone Meizu M2 Note.
Device info:
Meizu M2 Note Flyme 5.1.6.0G
I tried using different guides to pair my phone with the SW. But it is impossible I can link via BT but when i try to connect with Samsung gear app it never connects.
I tried resseting the S2 multiple times, trying with diferent versions of the OS of the phone (Downgraded to 4.X upgrades to 5.1.x , dowgrade again...) Tried, rebooting turning on/off BT, Linking, un-linking...
I installed just installing samsung gear app and this app installed other required apps.
Samsung Accessory Service
Gear Plugin
All this apps are updated to last version.
It will be so helpfull if anyone can help me to pair the devices, I am getting mad !
Thank you in advance
PD: As I have seen in other forums people paired S2 with m2 note, in some cases there are few compatibility issues. Because off that all functionalities do not work, but at least they can pair the devices!

Hello,
Sorry for my bad english.
As i told in the title, my gear s2 is unable to reconnect BT after i turn it on-off on my phone (or after i reboot my phone).
Every time i shutdown bt or reboot phone, i have to partial-restore my gear s2 because samsung gear manager cant reconnect (it sent to me a little viber without connect).
Please, do you have any idea or trick for solve this problem?
Is there any way to "freeze" BT situation during phone restart? Maybe it could preserve my connection.
Thank you all.
And thanks samsung, stupid cheater (universal smartwatch, yeah! )
I solved with a trick, but when i move myself in another room and i lost BT connection, gear s2 wont auto reconnect to my phone :crying:
New problem: impossible to pair Samsung Gear S2 with my phone while Jabra headset is connecting to my phone.
samsung equal ****.
Hi Sheep85 . Which trick did you perform to connnect both devices? Thanks!
I Have the same problem, it´s always with a MM 6.0 rom. Any solution for this? Is there more people with the same issue?
Hey today I started testing Samsung Gear S2 but I cannot pair it with Vernee Thor. Everything is OK but at the end of the process watch can't pair with my device. How can I solve this problem?
Hi, i had a problem with connecting my Gear S2 to Samsung S6. I have my S6 rooted and i have Kingroot. Kingroot is blocking Auto Start of Gear Manager, Gear Plugin and Samsung Acessory Service. I cancel the block and now it works perfectly
I've looked around a bit and cannot find a thread about this, but I cannot pair my watch (S2 3G Verizon) with my phone over bluetooth *WITHOUT* the Samsung Gear Manager app.
To be clear, I'm trying to pair the watch to my phone without using the Samsung app (because I think it's creepily intrusive), only bluetooth. My phone can see the watch, and when I try to connect, I get the expected prompt on the watch, but even when I click the OK (checkmark, but whatever) button on the watch, the phone eventually times out and says that it cannot connect with the watch.
The watch is a Verizon S2 3G.
The phone is an AT&T Moto X 2014 (LineageOS 14.1, OpenGApps STOCK)
Truth be told, I'm hoping that adfree can get Android wear working or - failing that - xposed framework will be updated to work on nougat, because I just can't imagine letting Samsung apps (Gear Manager and S-Health) run unrestricted on my device.
Has anyone encountered this before?
The watch cannot pair with devices except through the Gear Manager app.
So I have the Gear S3 Frontier LTE and noticed tonight while walking that the GPS can only find a fix when the watch isn't connected to my phone via Bluetooth.
Is this the correct behavior? If not, how do I fix it?

I had the same problem, Gear S3 F paired with Huawei P10 lite... when I connected to phone GPS didnt work... BUT only with Android Oreo 8.0! If I installed other ROM, Nougat 7.x or 8.1 it worked perfect! With other phones with Oreo 8.0 or without pairing too... I dont understand, why... I gave Gear 3 times to service but they didnt find any problem (they tried it without phone I think....)
I have the same problem with Huawei p20 pro. Tried disabling all battery saving options for Samsung apps but no go. No GPS when connected on Bluetooth, making this "smart watch" just a watch and a step tracker.
After updating the Gear S Plugin to 2.2.03.19010761 and Galaxy Wearable t0 2.2.21.18080361, GPS works properly again.
Hi,
I hope someone can help me! I have a galaxy Watch 4 and it was paired with my Galaxy S7 phone. Everything worked perfectly. I had to send my watch for repair. Now it's back and my phone absolutely doesn't recognize the watch at all. The watch is not in the bluetooth device list. I cannot pair the watch with my phone.
I tried pairing the watch with another device to see if the watch was the problem. I was able to pair the watch with another android phone (galaxy A5). So the watch is not the problem. It seems that the problems lies within my galaxy S7 phone.
I tried rebooting both the watch and the phone. Didn't do anything.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the WEARABLE app. Didn't do anything. (the wearable app can't find the watch either).
I tried erasing cache memory of WEARABLE app. Didn't help.
I unpaired every bluetooth device from my phone, then tried to find the watch to pair, but the phone doesn't see the watch. Note that the phone can recognize and pair with every other devices: earbuds, car, speaker, etc.
I tried to find my phone from my watch bluetooth menu, but the watch doesn't see the phone.
I hope I explained the problem clearly. Does anyone have a solution to suggest? I hope so, because without being paired to my phone, my watch is basically useless...
Thanks!
