[Q] slim bean 4.3 - settings app crashes

Settings app crashes when I try to open "developers options". Everything else seems to work fine. my device is rooted and unlocked. Also how do I enable backlight notifications? I can see the option under "advanced options" but it's greyed out..

[SOLVED] Default location settings to 'Device Only'

Hi,
Just installed CM12 for OPO and noticed that when I tap the location icon from the quick settings menu, it defaults to 'High Accuracy'. On CM11 I had it set defaulted to 'Device Only'. In CM11, it initially defaulted to 'High Accuracy' - however once I selected 'Device Only' from the location settings menu, subsequent tapping of the location icon in the quick settings menu set it to 'Device Only'. This method does not work in CM12. Don't worry about why I want it this way, I am simply asking if it's possible.
EDIT: After some (more) playing around, I found the solution. Go to Settings > Notification Drawer and toggle 'Advanced location settings' under 'Quick Settings panel'. It doesn't default to 'Device Only' but allows it to be selected upon toggling location reporting.

Developer Options - strange behaviour

I enabled the developer options on my new Honor 8 and can't disable them(at least not without deleting the cache of the settings app).
If I toggle the switch to disabled it just reverts to enabled if i leave the developer options(or press the recents button) and reenter them.
The developer options don't behave like this in stock android.
Is this behaviour normal in emui? Is this maybe a known bug?

can you be more specific about the wierd behaviour that you said?may be with a screenshot??

Are you rooted with xposed installed and active? If so xposed is doing this as it is needed for xposed to work.

broken 'work profile/show notifications content' after Android 10 update

Hello,
I have a problem on SM-N975F after Android 10 update.
I'm using Work profile, and got "show notifications content" enabled. Problem is that even if it's enabled in 'Settings -> Work profile -> Notifications and data -> Show notifications content' it does not work, and even if I disable this option, go one menu level up and return again it's again enabled.
Any ideas how to fix it? maybe some way to reset work profile settings?
