Samsung S6 flashed with Edge firmware? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought an S6 in Hoi An recently, and although it matches and is a Samsung S6 (SM-G920P), it seems to have an Edge's software, since I can access Edge-specific settings.
I wanted to flash the original firmware so as to have Marshmallow, but Odin won't let me. Should I flash the matching Edge (SM-G925P) firmware?
I really don't want to brick this phone. It is working perfectly as of now.

Download Latest Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 Inidan Version

I am in need of latest firmware for Samsung Galaxy SII....
I have been using 2.3.3
Baseband Version: I9100DDKE4
Kernel Version: I9100XWKF3
This is an unlocked version only so can i get the Official Latest Firmware to be used....

Can i flash stock firmware with sligthly different baseband version?

So i decided to unroot my phone today, and the only firmwares i found had different baseband versions than that of my phone.
My question to you is if it's dangerous for my phone if i flash a slightly different baseband version firmware?
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6
Android Version: 5.0.2 Lollipop
International version (SM-G920F)
Country: Sweden
Baseband Version: G920FXXU1AOCW
Custom root: CF-Auto Root for said device
Link to firmware availible for my phone (Sammobile): www .sammobile.com /firmwares/ database/ SM-G920F/ VDS/ (Assemble link)
The baseband version of the firmware is: G920FXXU1AOCV (Has a V at the end instead of W)
Will it damage my phone if i flash the firmware that has a V instead of my phones W at the end?
Thanks in advance
// Doge
i dont't think so. As long as it for G920F devices,it doesn't matter what the baseband version is or in what region !!
cause i tried on my own device, bro

It sounds like the person who sold it to u had rooted it, and flashed a custom firmware or Rom.

But it is a Verizon phone. Device type, and product name are zerofltevzw that's Verizon. Also, whatever it says in download mode, that's what model the phone is.

OK if I were you I would go to sammobile official site and download the official latest firmware for the Verizon S6. Also, I'm assuming you checked in adb by typing "adb" devices. To make sure the device is hooked up correctly.

Not really....and if i shud ask...what is it abt checking in the adb by typing "adb" devices....how is it done...
U have to have adb and fastboot installed. You just hook your phone up to the pc and open command prompt. Type adb hit enter, type adb devices hit enter. Should show your device status

@BobbyJanuaryBoy DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ANYTHING ON THIS DEVICE, EVEN ROOT!
Your phone is actually not "manufactured" by Samsung. It has Verizon motherboard, but the software inside is a firmware for international devices but modified to run with other motherboards (like Verizon), and a modified modem software and a unique IMEI & SIM lock storage.
You can only flash Verizon firmwares on it, BUT if you flash, your phone will be SIM Locked and you'll have some network issues due to unique IMEI & SIM lock storage and it is not revertable.

I'm pretty sure about that, sorry.
Same problem. Is it possible now to flash a Verizon Custom rom, without having any network issues?
Same here. I bought this phone few days ago and just discovered it was bootloader locked. Another thing is that I realised it kept on 4g signal even when the network drops to "edge".
-A galaxy s6 runing 5.1.1
- Csc bok7
- Pda Bok7.
Any help or advice would be welcome
