I can't find stock firmware for my SM-J7108 hongkong version(android 5.1.1). My phone shows "Custom binary blocked by frp" and "kernel is not seandroid enforcing after i tried to root it. The way only to to fix it is flashing stock firmware. I also disabled usb debugging, and enabled OEM.(silly mistake) Please help!!!

Any mm firmware for j7108 should work but be warned that it won't include gapps

guy i flashed hk j7108 non root version. i found that a black frame around square., its so unhappy. is is normat?becoz my devoce is white coloe, so obviousely to see the black frame.

i found sm-j7108 android 5.1.1 root tar fr internet. i unzip the pack and flash root.tar thro odin(included), (select tar fr AP), PASS and reboot auto. install included supersu.apk reboot to take effect. then update supersu fr google store and update su use normal mode. reboot device. rooted. yeah.
i m waiting for gapps for j7108 cn stock rom. or other twrp work for this model.

The problem is the OTA and PC suite only available in korea. If you are in other area please flash through tools & stuff

When my phone is on kitkat, I received a couple of firmware upgrade thru OTA, outside Korea.

I am in the US and i too got a couple of firmware updates OTA but not 5.0 yet. what tools are you talking about?
try enabling USB debugging first
I got j7108 that costumer was trying to root it and it's now write me:
kernel is not seandroid enforcing
Custom binary blocked by FRP lock

Hey, I am having the same problem. Is your SM-J7108 HongKong version? You need to flash stock firmware to fix it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Internet.

There is now an official 6.01 marshmallow available. This is the Hong Kong firmware with Google services. It works perfectly on my China Mobile J7108 which was originally J7108ZMU1APG4

I was wondering if is there any problems if I update my S8 (G950F) with this one (region DBT Germany), because I forget at all which country I choose when I did the region update (in here the updates are just too slow to arrive, because the carrier).
I would like to know if it has some local / specific configurations or if is it totally unlocked, international, clean, no different boot screen, or something like that. My current software, as an European firmware, is so much fast receiving the updates, but I haven't received this one yet. Sorry about my English, and I hope u guys understand. Thanks!

Supposedly the U and U1 firmware can write to either device, but I have a Flip 3 and (F711U) and it only allows U firmware.

I was using Samsung Firmware Downloader to try and download the latest firmware for my S22 Ultra; the SM-S908E/DS. When Samsung Firmware Downloader returned this error, I wondered why it wasn't working.I used the same firmware CSC as my phone (XSA) but apparently the SM-S908E/DS doesn't seem to have a match?

I went through the files on some of the sites - specfically samfrew, sfirmware and samfw. None of these sites yielded the firmware for the SM-S908E/DS - Dual SIM version, only having firmware for the SM-S908E.
It seems like Samsung doesn't show these, or the Dual SIM firmware is considered a subset of the Single SIM version. There are other phones where the Dual SIM version is a different model; like the Galaxy S5 Mini:
SM-G800H (Galaxy S5 Mini Dual SIM)
SM-G800F (Galaxy S5 Mini International)
I unfortunately have no idea what will happen if a firmware for the SM-S908E is used in the SM-S908E/DS. Probably best to not attempt it.
However, I do appreciate the help you tried to give me.

Thank you for the offer but this is no longer necessary. I have managed to find a solution for my problem.
Apparently, the firmware downloader does not take the "/DS" and the firmware will work for both the normnal and "/DS" devices.
