hi guys,
i have a samsung galaxy s7 not rooted, and i want to recover deleted photos from internal memory of my phone
thank you
If its deleted normally its 'gone'
If you haven't rebooted the phone there was an app in the app store a while back that could recover deleted items however it was hit and miss.
See if this tool help to recover deleted photos from Samsung S7, it will root your S7 automatically.
Turn on your Google Photos sync, it will be big help when you regret deleting your photos.
If you want to get back deleted photos from Samsung Galaxy S7, you can use Samsung Data Recovery program. It can scan your Samsung Galaxy S7 and SD card deeply to find the deleted photos. You can preview them and recover any of them from your phone to computer.

I have a samsung infuse. I found a thread that said Snapchat stored the pictures in /data/data/com.snapchat.android/cache but when I go there the folder is empty. Anyone have any insight?

Of course I can copy files like images, e books, music and videos via a PC connection, but please tell me how to copy following things:

Your out of luck. The contacts will be backed up to google. The rest needs a backup like TIBU backup done.
What's TIBU? Titanium Backup? How can I use it without my display?
Ok atleast can nybody tell me abt transfer of just whatsapp chats?
TIBU would only work if you backed it up before you lost the display. As for whatsapp it is stored on the data partition and without root or adb debugging enabled you won't be able to pull the info. Other then that I can't help. I and many others stopped using it when FB bought them.
I have a samsung galaxy s4 which I just installed a micro sd card in to free up space on the device to upgrade to android lollipop. I moved all my photos to the sd card and now when I take a picture, the photo is automatically saved to the sd card (which is good). However, I use the picasa app which was pre-installed on the phone for organising my pictures, instead of the gallery app, as I want all the pictures to back up to google plus. The problem I'm now having is that deleting a picture in the picasa photo app does not delete the picture from the sd card! It deletes from the picasa gallery, from the stock gallery app and also from the auto backup album on google plus (which is what I want), the only thing is doesn't do is actually delete the picture from the sd card for some reason? When the photos were saved on the device it deleted the pictures from there but it doesn't seem to want to do the same thing with the sd card. This is annoying as I have to 1st delete the picture in the picasa photo app to get rid of it from the online back up album, and then go into files-all files-DCIM-camera, and then select the photo and delete it from there! Is it possible to have this sync properly again so I don't have to do this?!
Thanks
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Lets start by properly identifying your device, which variant of the S4 do you have please?
No response in two days, thread closed.
Guys, before resetting phone i had copied all the photos and videos to my desktop. When i copy it back after resetting all the photos are interchanged. I have all the photos backed up to google though . Is there any fix for this like arrange the photos properly?
Recently I had bricked my mate 9 due to changing system files without reading into, anyway I flash official update through HWFF reinstalled OS and set my phone up as new.
Photos would not sync after logging into my accounts, I left it and a day later I checked my gallery again and the photos were there, however I checked again today and they're not there.
I checked internal storage and all photos and videos are in a picture folder.
My question is how do I get the photos and videos to show in gallery again?
I have a mate 9 running MHA-L09C432B198
