Yes. From Android 4.1.1 to Android 7.0 (untested)

This app is great and has a lot of potential. I am currently using the leaked nexus launcher on my oneplus one with android marshmallow.
Some issues I'm currently having
- If kernel is in selinux enforcing then the app won't load and will get stuck on loading. I have to switch to permissive. Would a logcat help?
- I am using an icon pack called candycons but for some reason the app is not finding every single icon. It only finds one icon per app. However in another launcher like nova launcher, I can see all the custom icons for one app. This is a bit annoying as I can't use some of the better icons as they don't show up
- Although the app does alphabetize the all the custom icons for candycon icon pack, it unfortunately does not separate them into categories by the name of the app. For example, in nova launcher, it will separate all the custom icons into categories like Google apps, Lg apps, and also categories by letter
Again thank you for all your hard work and I hope you can address some of my issues

^^ apk doesn't work and i Google searched and none of them work...

works to me, but i can't to set a icon pack, just one app each time

nice app!
but the project is dead or...?

Does not work for me. N5X, Android 7.0, Nexus launcher v. NMR1-3063178
SElinux is permissive.
If I try to apply an icon pack, it shows zero icons selected. If I try to change a single icon, the icon in the launcher just doesn't change.

BlinkFeed and Service Apps Ported to Non-Sense Rom's

HTC have announced that they will release Blinkfeed and Service Apps to the Play Store for use on non-HTC phones.
http://www.androidheadlines.com/201...-and-service-pack-apps-in-the-play-store.html
Just a quick update....
No news about the official apps from HTC but devs have ported the M8 version of Blinkfeed that's already on the play store.
New thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735764
USE THIS THREAD FROM NOW ON, DOWNLOAD LINKS ARE IN THE OP
ALL CREDITS GO TO GAKUGAKU
REMEMBER TO THANK THE DEV'S AND TO MAKE A BACKUP FIRST
Requires Android 4.4+
Confirmed working on: CM11 / INFAMOUS IOAP / .... (Should work on any AOSP based rom)
(Old thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696399)
-
Clock: To get the clock to show at the top you must set Blinkfeed as the home page.
Weather: To get the weather to show in the Blinkfeed header you must go into phone settings/accounts and add HTC weather. There are settings for Celsius/Fahrenheit and update interval in the top right corner as well.
Not Working: Facebook Feed, Instagram Feed.
Version 12 has a 4 x 5 home screen grid size, it cuts off some of the icon label text. To solve this you need to download the xposed module 'app settings' and reduce the HTC Blinkfeed launcher font size to 92%.
-
HOW TO INSTALL - NEW
- Backup your ROM.
- Download Htc_BlinkFeed_vXX.zip
- Extract Htc_BlinkFeed_vXX.zip
- Normally install the apk files(Twitter Weather Prism hsp)
- Enjoy!
CHANGELOG
Updated to v8: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51621342&postcount=644 (Old thread)
Updated to v9: Now available in black/orange/magenta. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51743554&postcount=1085 (Old thread)
Updated to v10: (Green background). Now has Twitter working. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51928423&postcount=1329 (Old thread)
Updated to v12: Choose Blinkfeed colour in launcher. Now has 4 x 5 homescreen grid by default. New thread opened by gakugaku, link can be found above, download links are in the OP. Added Custom RSS App for Blinkfeed, also can be found in the OP.
-
SIDE NOTE:
Just in case anyone didn't know, you can use this basically as a Blinkfeed app if you want to use Nova (probably will work with other launchers as well). Just follow the steps below:
- Flash the zip in the OP, this installs the Blinkfeed launcher.
- When you boot into system set Nova back to the default launcher (Always).
- In Nova, long press on any space on the screen. Select Shortcuts > Activities > HTC Blinkfeed > HTC Blinkfeed (Launcher)
- This creates a HTC Blinkfeed shortcut on your screen.
- Click on the HTC Blinkfeed shortcut, delete all pages apart from Blinkfeed, delete all the icons in the dock (Apart from the app drawer icon).
- Now when you press the HTC Blinkfeed shortcut from inside Nova it will take you directly to Blinkfeed.
- Pressing the home button will take you back to Nova.

Not 100% sure how it's going to work yet, all will be revealed today I assume. It's a step in the right direction though in my opinion. The bad news is it might be only M8 onwards and require sense framework. Basically just splitting up the apps like Google did so they can release the updates quicker.
It's possible to obtain this on our One S?
I will see it in Play store?

Hej, I just found the supposedly .apk of Blinkfeed at APKleacher.
I am not sure if I'm allowed to provide a link, therefor I won't risk it, but would be interesting if someone could validate the authenticity of the file.
Edit: False alarm, the .apk is for Blinked Feed
Just a quick update....
There is still no official date for HTC to release the apps on the playstore, but they will require 4.4.2 to run when available.
Some developers are working on porting the new Blinkfeed and the rest of the HTC apps here.
They have successfully got most of the Blinkfeed functions to work, but are still working on Zoe/Gallery etc.
I have installed CM11 M5 Snapshot and flashed the Blinkfeed V8 file in recovery and it installs a HTC Sense launcher over CM11. The feeds all seem to work apart from Twitter/Facebook etc. It changes the app draw to the one in the attached picture below. The scrolling in Blinkfeed is not quite as smooth as we have with Maximus/Viper but its still pretty good. Anyway if you want to give it a try make a backup first then flash the Blinkfeed V8 zip found in this post, I'm not sure if it works with every AOSP based ROM, only tried with CM11.
Note: To get the clock to show at the top you must set Blinkfeed as the home page.
Edit: I tried the other apps in the OP but none of them work.

Ah.. That makes more sense, thanks for clarifying. Just for the record, I'm using it with the Infamous IOAP rom and it works fine. :good:
I've been looking into editing the launcher so we can use a 4 x 5 grid on the homescreen, the 4 x 4 grid seems too spaced out to me, but that's probably to be expected as its not designed for our device. Having trouble compiling at the moment, so something is wrong with my setup, if anyone else is able to do this it would be greatly appreciated.
SIDE NOTE:

- Now when you press the HTC Blinkfeed shortcut from inside Nova it will take you directly to Blinkfeed.
- Pressing the home button will take you back to Nova.
I will copy this into the OP.
Updated to v12
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS HAVE CHANGED, PLEASE READ OP
- Change Blinkfeed colour from within launcher
- New 4 x 5 homescreen grid size available
All credits to gakugaku. He has opened a new thread for updates to the launcher, link in the OP.
I have not tested this version.

Hi,
Trying the free version It looks nice but does the paid version:
- a way to hide apps?
- a way to sort apps?
Ok.... tried the paid version untill refund time. Sorting is there but hiding not. I would buy it if i could hide apps. The reason is that i also have some frozen system apps that i will never use. So there's no need to have their icon in cold launcher. Can this be implemented please?

[Open Source][5.0+] Rootless Pixel Launcher 3.9.1 - Based on AOSP 8.1 Launcher3

Vision
My launcher is a close to AOSP launcher that only changes the necessary code to allow for small extensions and backporting to older Android versions. If you want a more feature packed launcher use Nova, Action or Lawnchair. I focus on simplicity and rock solid stability. If you do not agree with that and would rather have experimental features, you are in the wrong thread.

Ended up wiping and starting fresh with the O developer preview. After doing so, Launcher3 installed without issue. Is there any way to get the Pixel icons working with this? I downloaded the Pixel icons for 7.1.2 from apk mirror, but it doesn't seem to have taken. Thanks.
Working great on LG Aristo, Suggestion: icon pack support.
Please either add pixel icons or icon pack support. Would make this the best launcher ever!!!
Its like dream come true for me... using it on my Galaxy S8... But I have two requests and an issue:
1. could your please support pixel exclusive automatic round icons for supported apps... it is possible as Action Launcher 3 has this feature with Round Icon Option on non rooted phone.
2. Is it possible to overwrite app closing animation like stock android (slide down). this feature is available in Nova Launcher through "Reveal App Animation". I don't like the default zoom out closing app animation of my Galaxy S8.
3. Check the screenshot: the Navigation bar color is muted .. not white .. gray color.. this is related to Poor Samsung design... Nova launcher has fixed the issue... But each and every other 3rd party launcher has same problem.. kindly look into the matter..! Thanks..
[Screenshot of Galaxy S8 muted color navigation bar..!](http://i.imgur.com/NF8JcFh.png)
Thank you.... Much appreciated work...
Thanks for share.. keep the good work continues..
Thank you for ur work but thanks even more for making a thread here on XDA!
Fix status bar
https://github.com/amirzaidi/Launcher3/releases/tag/Pixel-v1.3
- Possibly fixed Samsung's Secure Folder and MIUI from causing crashes
- Updated the requested Google Now overlay version from v0 to v5, like the O Pixel Launcher
- (EXTREMELY EXPERIMENTAL) added an entire library of obfuscated code to get the app shortcut row working
- Added a toggle for the app shortcuts, so you can disable them if they do not work properly
- Force the Pixel colours throughout the app, including the widgets and preferences
There is also a version without the entire app suggestions library in it, if it causes any problems you should try that one.
Anyway to get round icons without needing to change systemui or have root access ?

Hi there, im using Note 5 witj stock rom. But this is the result after install3d the apk.
Google crashes? Oh man, that's a new thing I've never heard before. Only way I can get that to happen is in an emulator with a broken Google app variant. Is your G App up to date?
Hey, thanks a lot for your launcher, looks dope !
Just to let you know it has been featured on the biggest French - Android website today, so your Github might receive a bit more traffic
On a side note : I've tried it on my Galaxy S8, and I was not able to get the weather to show, irregardless of the number of time I've pulled down the cards to refresh google feed.
Do you happen to have an idea on how I could fix it ?
Also on a side-side note, would you implement icon support into it ? As with samsung ROMs we have the ugly looking icons instead of rounded/pixel ones.

[ROOT][APP][9.0+] Android 10 Launcher (+ gestures, feed)

Android 10 Launcher for Android 9.0+
Google has made an interesting change on Pie release: moving the recents app screen, along with the (was new) swipe up gesture to the stock launcher. Following that change, the Lawnchair team has released the QuickSwitch Magisk Module which allows you to change the "stock" launcher to a supported one that you prefer.
So let's get to the point. A week ago Google has released Android 10 along with its new, improved gesture navigation. It's much better than the gestures on Android Pie. Today, I'm happy to announce that you can get the new gesture navigation on Android Pie too with this port and the QuickSwitch Magisk Module.
Features
Video preview
- Clean stock Launcher3 base
- Android Q gesture navigation
- Swipe down for notification drawer
- Dark theme
- Google Feed (dark theme now included), YAY!
- Simple icon packs support (no dynamic icons/icon masking)
Installation
1. Install the QuickSwitch Magisk Module
2. Download and install the Launcher APK
3. Open the QuickSwitch app, select the launcher and reboot
4. Set it as the default launcher
5. Open home settings, select "Developer options" and then enable gestures in there
Download
Unified build

- View attachment Q_Launcher3-v1.2-debug.apk

For Android 10

Notes:
- This launcher requires the QuickSwitch Magisk Module to function properly. It should work as a normal launcher alone but that's untested.
- Unfortunately, the back gesture is a part os SystemUI and can't be achieved in this port, but you can use apps such as Fluid NG to replicate it.

Enjoy.
Please press thanks if you like this.
Thank you, really nice!
It's not working for me. I've done all the steps. The name of the launcher linked here is "Quickstep" in my default apps settings. And choosing that makes it so I can't even close any app, it just reopens the app immediately. (like there is no home screen).
And I guess you don't mean the lawnchair settings? I thought that at first but there is no gestures option in the developer settings in lawnchair (latest beta).
Working great in Havoc 2.8 This should be your new grand project. I'm using lawnchair 2 and that's awesome.
Works flawlessly on my Xperia Z3 Carbon 7.0 Pie.
It would be nice with a dark background option.
Nice work, mate.
Would be great if you add this in lawnchair

Although untested, it should work as this launcher is the same one that stock Android 10 provides with only a few changes. Just make sure you download the one for Android 10 and it should be fine.

Does the Pixel launcher from Android 10 come with new gesture animations, and are you planning to port it?
Also, for the people who have been using this launcher, what is your method of replicating Android 10's Navigation bar? I've tried Fluid NG and the Home button doesn't seem to work when Navigation bar is hidden. I'm on Xperia X running Lineage OS 16 (9.0).

Yeah, as I said, when I choose it as my launcher, it doesn't work at all. The phone behaves like there's no homescreen. When I try to exit settings, or any app at all, it just reopens that app immediately. It closes the app, shows an empty wallpaper and then opens the app within 1/10 of a second.

And also, the bottom google search bar is also missing. Hope that gets added too!
Overall first impressions, a fantastic port!!
Can this work on unrooted device

Unrooted devices have no means to change Android's quickstep provider, which means you are stuck with default recents provider and navigation gestures.
Which, you know, defeats the purpose.
When I try to select is as the quickstep provider on OOS OB1 Q then I get an error message "Error: Boot script failled"

[APP][6.0+]Launcher Ops

Original Post (6/29/2020)
So, Your in the market for a new launcher app replacement? GCA Launcher? Lawnchair? Nova Launcher? Action Launcher? Pear Launcher? So many choices? Maybe your that guy/gal who switches launchers for certain profiles or environments. A question remains as you make your choice, is their an easy way to switch to my favorite launcher and is there a way to manage them more easily than what the android os provides? Well, I may have an answer!
(Edited 5/25/2023)
(Looking back at the op above from 2020) That was the question almost 3 years ago. How can we take a core feature of android and manage it? We answered it. In 2023, new questions came to the confront us. What launcher apps are safe to use, what launcher apps are legit and not cloned? Do they have ads? Why does it need access to my storage? Why is it connecting to the internet? We explored those questions and came up with a solution this year.
In June of 2020, XDA Developers had this to say about No'Me, https://www.xda-developers.com/nome-launcher-manager-switch-multiple-launcher-apps/
My Vision for No'Me changed as well as the angle for my vision of this app. First off, the name needed a rebrand. Second, No'Me needed a rewrite... And I had a few tricks up my sleeve.
I'd like to introduce No'Me's biggest update in 2 years. Welcome Launcher Ops! Launcher Ops is a next generation Launcher App Manager and Analyzer. There are 2 main features Launcher Ops focuses on.
Firstly is management, allowing users to quickly switch to and from different launcher apps quickly using the Companion app, Launcher Quick Tile, and it's brand new launcher switcher interface! Launcher Ops now allows users to switch the default launcher app programically without needing access to the android settings. This works by tapping into a relatively new api called Role Manager. The Role Manager API is not available on all android os and could possibly be blocked on some heavily skinned firmware and if it isn't available, will fallback to our original method of switching Launcher Apps. Launcher Ops will also create App Shortcuts inside of its Launcher icon of any Launchers it's discovered to quickly launch them or allow the user to pin a shortcut to their homescreen.
Secondly, This is the main new feature of Launcher Ops existence today, Deepsight. Deepsight is a brand new feature developed to allow users to Analyze and Inspect their current homescreen app or one they plan to use. By using Deepsight on a launcher, Launcher Ops will identify the following...
-Any agressive or high risk permissions accessed
-If it has Ads
-If it uses Google services or has micro transactions
-Is the launcher up to date and use the latest android SDK?
-Does it have the correct permissions set to operate correctly
-Identify how many Permissions, background services and activities are running or accessible
-Identify if its a clone or related to launcher3 in any way
-View it's activity list to see what and where and how
-View to see if it will support quick switch from Magisk to see if it has access to overlay services
-Grade it's overall analyzes by checking all of the above as well as any sketchy pings like messy labels, excessive activities and services running in the background and dangerous permissions
As a side bonus, Launcher Ops will also compare all the launcher apps installed and identify which ones are using high risk permissions.
Another bonus to Launcher Ops? It's powered by OPEN ONE UI. A smooth and easy to understand user interface that mimics Samsungs ONE UI for all with some custom views in the mix.
With as much work I put into Launcher Ops this year, I did lock some things up to a License requirement.
*Requires a License
-Permission Querry Tab
-Discovery Tab
-Permission Details Tab in Deepsight
-Overlay Support Tab in Deepsight
-Grading Details and specifics of flags causing grades to decline or increase
I hope you all enjoy Launcher Ops and find a use for it to discover clones or launchers that need to be questioned.

Your welcome
Publishing a hotfix for an embarrassing bug where No'Me tries stating certain builds of Lawnchair is not supported by Quickswitch so that will be up soon.
Just published an update on Google Play and already live on Labs (probably last one for awhile unless i start getting feedback)
-Fixed a bug that would crash the app if backing out of a donation or selecting a new one
-Updated the logic for the launcher manager menu actions (Sometimes, wrong actions were available for system launchers)
-Updated modules and libraries
Screenshot demoing usage of Quick Switch module active
It doesn't allow me to switch to the OnePlus Launcher. I also have Lawnchair (default), Nova and AutoTools installed which work.

Im finding that the dynamic shortcut doesn't show the system default launcher for some reason.
Nice find!
What I miss a lot when switching launchers is a way to import configuration from previous one. Is there a plan to implement this functionnality?
Thanks!

Most of the premium launchers should already offer an import feature (for compatible configurations) but some launchers may not be compatible with previous configurations and its a gray area. For example Nova launcher configurations are not compatible with my launcher (GCA) so users are offered an opportunity to start fresh.
Another blemish is apps cant access shared preferences from another app without root and i dont really wanna walk into that territory.
If a launcher stores something in its private directory or its res folder , i could essentially find it and list it but not all launchers work that way.
If anyone is encountering a force close as soon as the app opens, please let me know. Seems to be an issue for some users
End of the year patches have been published this week. These patches included the following changes
-Android 11 optimization (style changes and maintenance)
-Pre Android 10 maintenance (Android Shortcut Manager fixes, Style and general fixes)
-A fix to the Launcher list inflater (Progressbar would not show properly)
-A fix to launcher icon rendering (Context not properly initialized)
-A fix to the launcher list receiver (When putting the app in standby or exiting may cause crashes)
-Shortcut Manager not properly generating the shortcuts correctly
-A fix to the donations list
-Updated dependencies
-Updated Kotlin plugin
-General cleanup
Im not sure if the updated changes to Magisk affects how Quick Switch works and the compatibility with No'Me so if you run into not accurate info on the Quick Switch properties, let me know as I do not have an unlocked device anymore.
Thank-you for using No'Me!
wow, 7 Months... it's been awhile.
Some important news coming soon. No'Me is getting its android 12 ready update soon. In this update, The user interface will be polished up to fix some issues we discovered along the way and fix some things that just don't sit well. The app will be integrated with Monet library (Android 12 theme backport" so everyone can enjoy a really nice and up to date interface! The Manager tab will be cleaner and provide some extra info for users on their daily launcher. The settings tab will be alot more cleaner and allow detecting root and magisk alittle more in depth (this is used to determine if Quick Switch capabilites for the launcher is TRUE). They'll be a few new toggles to help manage switching easier. The manager tab will have a cleaner interface as well that's more up to snuff to standards of material design while playing a bigger part for newer features.
Along side the release, an open source variant will be released on my github to allow the community to possibly add onto the launcher manager to make it better or hold the key of adding the manager app to custom roms. I've held onto this app for to many years and it's time to move onto bigger things.
a preview of No'Me's material you update
A pre beta of the Material You update has been published on Google Play! A few bugs to work out but should be resolved in the next few days
