[Completed] ASUS Zenfone Max-Rooting-Permission issue - XDA Assist

Hello,
I recently purchased a Zenfone Max which contains OS version 6.0. I have tried to root my device by a lot of ways but I am unable to do so..(namely by One-click install and ADB command line).
One thing I came across with the ADB method is that it showed me "permission error" on my phone. I tried running the CMD with Admin rights and even made the app compatibility with RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR for all users. It still does not work.
Could you please let me know the way out for it?

Hisense E860

Hi to all,
I have been looking for a solution for a long time. But all I see is empty thread with no response. So, please can anyone help me out here? My English is not very good. So, I will try and explain everything that I understand.
First of all, I am using Hisesne EVDO E860 Android Cellphone. It came with android 2.3.6 version. Kernel version 2.6.38.6-perf+. Software version E527.6.01.03.BD00. Hardware version, V2.00. Debug Info GRK39F. Model Number HS-E860.
I have been trying to root the device for a long time. But nothing helped. Last time I checked the forum for a software name Framaroot. I thought this is my last hope, as I tried several other softwares like superoneclick, vroot, adbroot, universal root, etc and also some codes using command prompt. None of the method helped rooting the device itself. Most of the softwares couldn't even detect my device. So, I installed Framaroot. Now that I run the software, it shows only available exploit is Gandalf. I don't even know what that means. But when I run it, it says "Failed .... Try another exploit if available (Error #5)". As this was my last hope, I couldn't help but post a thread here. Also, I am a newbie here, so I am expecting a little more than help. Please, help me out here with rooting my device.
Any method, any software and any guidelines or tutorial would be really helpful for me.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit operating system. Any suggestion would be really helpful and appreciated.
Best regards and thanks in advance

so may i know is there any solution to upgrade my device because after unroot also i am not able to update.
Unfortunately not a great deal of information exists for low-popularity devices such as this, and it's pretty hard to get your hands on official firmware too. During my searching on your behalf I've only been able to find other people in a similar situation, but no actual firmware. All I can suggest is that you keep searching and hope you come across something. Sorry we couldn't be of any more help.
Good luck!

Have you already checked this thread: [GUIDE][ROOT] Newest Root Method for LG devices by digital-bug?
Your device/model is listed as "Confirmed" ... so it should work fine.
If you have questions or need further help regarding this rooting method, please ask in this thread directly.
Good luck !
Hello. I have tried the two methods listed in the link and both did not work for me.
The error I receive when doing either one of them is (in terminal):
-bash: adb.exe: command not found
I have installed the latest drivers and I have set my phone to USB debugging mode and PTP transfer. I have tried these methods about 2 or 3 times getting the same result.
Thanks.

[Completed] [Urgent] Help with finding a ROM Please or How to extract System.img from device

Well people, at this point I'm BEGGING for help; thanks in advance and I'll be specific and provide all the details on the situation.
My wife has a BLU Studio 7.0 II S480L, that seems to be a Latin American version of the same (S480U), and some days ago the device got a virus, or that's what I thought.
In Malwarebytes Mobile it flagged a system app (Provisions.apk) as a malware (Andro/Trojan.Andup.e)
Image link:
Code:
i13.photobucket.com/albums/a277/David_Panzer/photo_2016-05-08_08-39-59_zpssmhlkmoa.jpg
So because Malwarebytes failed to clean it up, I decided to be a good idea to Root the thing up with Kingroot, replace the chinese Root admin with SuperSU-me and clean it manually (something that I've did before with LG and Samsung devices with success.)
Well, everything went fine until SuperSU failed to replace the su binary and needed to restart the thing up, then device got Softbricked.
Currently I know for fact that I have a Kingroot SU binary installed, I think that I don't have ADB enabled on Developer Options and also that Fastboot is working and I can do "fastboot oem unlock" if needed. I have fairly medium/advanced computing skills so don't worry with complex steps, I'll be able to follow them properly.
The complete idea is one of the following:
A/ Find the correct ROM/Software to flash the thing up to factory state
B/ Extract the ROM system.img somehow, edit it up and clean it manually, following the information provided by the Root Integrity status that the Factory Recovery of Blu has.
C/ Find the AOSP sources and recompile the entire thing up, oem-unlock it and flash it
The device specific information is:
BLU Studio 7.0 II Model S480L in Gold color, Latin American
Processor Mediatek MT8382 w/ Mali400 MP2
1Gb RAM
8Gb ROM
3G HSDPA+
Android 5.0 Lollipop
Software: BLU_S480L_V10_GENERIC // BLU_S480L_V10_GENERIC 02-09-2015 12:18

Allwinner a33 ro.adb.secure=0 device unauthorized

Hi,
I know a few similar questions have been asked regarding firmware but I AM NOT ASKING ABOUT NEW FIRMWARE.
I am having an issue where I bought a tablet for development purposes and when I went to connect it over adb the device would not give me the RSA auth prompt(and yes I have tried all the tricks online). I found that the ro.adb.secure=0 was set in the build.prop and without root I can not edit it. But to root it I need adb access so I am stuck.
Is there any way to authorize it on my computer?
Or is there another way to get adb access?
