Hi guys,
I've recently bought an S7 (SM-G930F) and was updating apps from play store and installing a touchwiz theme. The phone crashed and now i am unable to boot. It goes to the Galaxy S7 logo and reboots with blue LED lit or sometimes gets to Samsung animation then locks up.
I've already tried the following:
1. factory reset, wipe cache.
2. Used Smart switch to reinstall firmware. Process is successful but then "install update" fails (blue screen with android) and locks up.
3. Used Odin to install my firmware again. Successful goes to blue screen and can install update but still wont boot into android.
Does anyone know of anything else I can do?
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
Really sorry to ask about this but tearing my hair out!
I have a P6200 UK model. I installed CWM v6.0.1.0 and it worked fine. The intention was to install Galaxy ROM HD (build #06), so I downloaded it, put it on my SD card, and installed from CWM recovery. The install got stuck on "Flashing boot" - so after around 15 mins I reset it.
It went into a boot loop on the initial Samsung logo. Luckily I'd previously re-flashed stock HC with Odin (to cure a dead Wifi problem caused by, I think, an errant install of Busybox) so I did this again, rebooted, and the system came up, text started scrolling up the screen, followed by a red error message (see picture) and a reboot. I was then once again stuck on the initial Samsung Tab 7.0 Plus log. I repeated the process and it didn't even get past the Samsung logo.
So I thought I'd try the newly released ICS Rom (GT-P6200_ATO_P6200XXLQ1_P6200OXALQ1) - this seemed to install OK, then half booted, did some text type installation stuff with the blue Android, then rebooted again, finally getting stuck on the Samsung logo with blue pulsating behind it. It never gets any further than that.
I tried flashing HC back - same result as earlier. I can also reflash CWM and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It seems I've run out of options.
So - question is - where (if anywhere!) can I go from here?
Help greatly appreciated, many thanks!
have you tried a system wipe in cwm? if not do a system wipe and reflash HC using odin.. same thing happen to me 2 days ago.. I think something is up with HD rom
Hi guys, so recently I bought a Galaxy S6 Verizon off of eBay. I got it for fairly cheap because it was stuck in a boot loop. I usually have no problem fixing stuff like this, but this time is different. So the first thing I tried when I got the phone was to do a reset and cache wipe from recovery. I rebooted the phone and it showed a screen that said "Android is starting, optimizing app 9 out of 31." when it got to 21 the phone rebooted and went back to 9. It did this several times before I attempted to wipe/reset again. I then downloaded the tar file G920VVRU4CPH1 and flashed it in Odin. I did a manual reset before the phone booted, and it is doing the same thing again. reboots to a green screen where it tries to optimize apps, stays there for about 20 seconds, and reboots over and over again in the same cycle. I have tried all other stock marshmallow roms that i can find, Odin won't flash older ones, (assuming its not letting me downgrade). Also another weird thing, every time I flash, the blue update screen goes to 32%, stops, erases, and reboots. Phone is on 6.0.1 version MMB29K.G920VVRU4CPH1 as seen in recovery. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thank you!
I am having a similar problem with loading new rom. The farthest it gets is 32%. Sometimes it doesn't get even that far.
I ended up just buying a trashed s6 and swapping the motherboards. Only way I could fix it
Dear Support Team,
Please note that I am facing this issue since 1.5 Months, after update by samsung official. My Phone automatically downloaded update and install the update of October 2016. After that my phone turn itself off and keeps rebooting.
Rebooting Types:
1. Reboot properly come upon HomeScreen, when I try to unlock homescreen It goes again hang first then reboot.
2. While rebooting itself it stuck on Samsung S6 Edge and Andriod Logo.
3. While Rebooting itself Samsung logo came and again screen off and reboot.
Note: In all rebooting case my SM-G925F Vietnam Country's Phone. LED Light Blinks White Color, Some times White Light blinks Like On...Off...On...Offf, and Some time White LED Notification Light Keep on.
In this way I tried multiple times pressing 3 buttons (V-Up+V-Down+Power) Same time it get off from stuck and white led off and Phone Starts Properly. and Sometime I try to go Recovery Mood by pressing (V-up+Home+Power) buttons, and try to Reboot to bootloader, then my phone comes alive properly.
I tried rooted successfully one time also, and tried also Install Stock Firmware from Samsung-firmware latest one also.
and I am unable to install any other old update of Marshmallow because my Phone says B:4 K:2 CheckFail.
Please help me.

Ali

Greetings and welcome to assist. Have you tried kies/smartswitch emergency firmware recovery ? That should return your phone to stock
Good Luck

Dear I have tried Kies it said no phone connected found. It shows and connected in ODIN app. But not showing in Kies.
Smart Switch have only option to transfer data from old phone to new phone. Otherwise there isn't any option to firm in mobile.
Please guide me.
I was having trouble with random lock ups and reboots so i wanted to flash my 915A to another version of firmware that i had installed before. I used odin and it updated successfully. I then wiped cache and then did a wipe data/factory reset and then a
reboot. And then the samsung logo and then the AT&T logo and then nothing, The logo stays on for ever. The blue led is on and
dims in and out and thats all. I have left it for over a hour and nothing. SO i reflashed a few other firmwares that i have saved and have used all of them in the past and they all load via odin just like they should. I follow the same steps i have always used and
everytime it hangs on the AT&T logo? I have tried pulling out the SD card, I have tried with and without the SIM card and still
the same? IS my 7 month old phone bricked? PLEASE help me i really want and need my phone back. Does anyone have any ideas
on what i can do or try? Thank you for reading.

My S7 has suddenly rebooted and now it won't go pass Samsung logo. At the first few reboots I was able to see PIN unlock screen where it would eventually freeze and automatically reboot, but now as I removed SIM and microSD it will only boot to Samsung logo in best case.
I have tried to enter recovery mode, but it freezes after 7 seconds at initial screen stating "updating system files". I can only successfully enter download mode.
What should I do? The warranty is not valid anymore, could I flash it with odin? Is there any way to recover data from internal memory? Please help.

Hey, same problem here !
I have, in addition of all that, the famous "Black screen & blue led" issue when i try to boot up my S7.
But my phone keep freezing when he try to boot. Keep freezing and rebooting 30 seconds after i unlock the screen with the pin (when he can boot), and for the recovery, it works for me, but only once in ten ...
Every times he freeze at the boot, i must wait when the battery hae 0% and shut down automatically
i already tried to wipe cache, but the situation doesn't change anymore.
i don't know too how to recover the internal storage data ...
If someone can help us .. :fingers-crossed:
(For me, my phone is entirely stock, and never flashed)
