Hey guys. Im new to this forum but I've followed xda for a while.
Sorry in advance for my bad English.
I have a problem with my S7. The screen is black after i Lock the screen.
The phone is dead. I've tried calling it and send IM Message to see if it responds.
The only thing that works is doing a reset (power+volum down).
What is the problem and how do I fix it?
Phone is rooted with CF auto root.
I can enter. But it will not download.
And now i get an another error. No sim card inserted. Sim card is in, tried to take it out and put it back in. That didnt help..

hi all i have a e650 originally and now unlocked and flashed htc firmware to it. however on turning on the device gets to the final part before the homescreen comes on and then constantly restarts untill it decides to work.
i have the uspl installed from this forum.
any help would be appreciated

To me it helped when I removed a SD card.
what also helps, is to remove your simcard. the device will switch off, put back the sim and the next time it won't reset anymore

Oke, what happened to it!
I was just MSNing and poof it turned off. i turned it on again and i ended up at the IPL screen (you know with the Red, green, Blue and White bars).
I tried rebooting again and again, and it says "Searching for SD card" and then goes to the IPL screen.
What to do?
just a guess .. but but did you check the sd card on any other devise ?
becuase my first impression is that your SD card is malfunctioning.
I tried it without. but it seems it still doesn't work :/ i might just clean it out, and reformat it, thanks
When in the bootloader screen just connect it to the usb and then install one of the " tribula " roms through ruu_signed_shiped.exe something like that ,( refer to instaling through pc just search the xda)
I fixed it. The problem was, my camera button was broken, meaning that it was forced to go to the bootloader screen everytime i try to start it up.

Hi, yasterday i tried to change my rom, but in the midlle of changing my phone had fallen and the battery fell out.
my phone got stuck on the "sony ericcsson" text - screen when i turn on my phone.

I'll start from the beginning, II was rooted and I wanted to speed up my phone so I tried to use SWAP. I never got it to work for some reason but then out of no where I was on the home screen and then my phone rebooted but wouldn't start again, it got stuck at the T-Mobile 4g LTE splash screen. I was still able to go into recovery and all that. So I decided to format my phone. The. That screwed it up even more because then it got stuck at the Samsung Galaxy light start up screen. So then I used Odin and flashed a stock rom. But that still didn't help it got stuck at the T-Mobile splash screen again. I went into recovery and it said era error. I managed to fix that and that went a way. Then after an hour of searching I was able to boot up my phone because some forum said all I needed to do was spam the volume up and down buttons at startup to get it to work. After that I set up my phone but then I was getting any 4G and I couldn't make any calls but it said I had 5bars. I kept getting a message saying not registered on network. Nothing would make it work. I called T-Mobile and I went into setting tried fixing my apn, tried connecting to T-Mobile again but nothing. They just called me back today and after I gave them my i di number they said it's not working because I rooted my phone. It doesn't have a bad i eu or anything it's just not working. I did see that my imei on my account is different than the imei my actual phone displays. I am able to do wifi calling and that works. So obviously something got jacked up when I formatted my phone. I want to know if anyone can help. I didn't back up my efs because I didn't know I had to, the only thing I've rooted before was my tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy light SGH-T399 . Can anyone help. Ik my thread was long but I wanted to kae sure I got every little detail.

Good news is, that we have a forum for your device on xda: Samsung Galaxy Light Discussion.
Bad news is that it seems that your IMEI (and maybe your EFS data) is corrupt/lost now.

Hi I have an issue with my Samsung Galaxy J7, I'm running the only stock rom and kernel available from that forum so I decided to post here since there isn't much support there.When i have my sim inserted My phone will always shut off when the screen is off but not when im using it. the only way to get it back on is to do a battery pull or in my case, I load up the Odin screen and select restart to save time. I've tried getting a new sim but the problem is still there..oddly enugh theres no problem when the sim is inserted while then phone is in airplane mode. Can anybody give me a clue about what to do? I've tried installing different firmawares from sammobile via Odin but to no avail
