Not a fan. The silicone is flimsy and our doesn't really cover the lip of the phone that well. Horrible case imo

It's a minimal dual layer, I have one for my gs3, as well as an otterbox. The otterbox has more protection but you gain mass and heft. I like the incipio because it is slim but still offers good protection
I actually had this one on my phone and was paying for it in the store but I scrubbed the purchase before I could even check out. I think it looks really nice and will probably give good drop protection, but the flimsy silicone would drive me crazy. When you push the side buttons the silicone would buckle. The silicone in the top and bottom didn't fit snugly. JMO. Like I said I looked the way it looked. It was the brushed aluminum dual pro shine with black silicone. Just not snug enough of a fit for me.

I have had this case on my S4 since I got the phone thru verizon, about 10 days . Black on black. I wanted a slim case with decent drop protection. This was a good compromise. The soft inner core does over lap on to the front of the screen a bit, wich is good as I can lay the phone face down without damaging the screen. The soft rubber inner core does attract lint where it is exposed, but I expected that.
so far I am happy with the case. But, I have not dropped it .....yet...

Does anyone have one? I just purchased one and was wondering if anyone had one and could give me a good review.
Thanks!

I like it. I chose it over the UAG and Spigen Slim Armor. Tried all three and kept the Aspira. It offers more protection then the two others I listed and is much more comfortable to hold. The UAG and Spigen have hard edges that kind of irritated my finger the way I held it.
It fits with the Spigen Glas T Nana Slim screen protector and some Chinese wireless charging receiver tucked under the stock battery cover. It's tight but it works if anyone was wondering. The hard plastic part seems to attract finger prints and very fine scratches but you have to really look to see them.

Yes. I have one. it protects very well. the lip around the sides are strong and sturdy. and on each corner. theres a rubber padding. the padding is so thick that if you drop ur phone..it will litelerally bounce like a handball. very good case. and very easy to install
only negative is that its slightly bulky but not too much. and its an ugly case compared to others.
I was actually looking for a blue/white case just like this. Hopefully the color will look like the website picture.
How is the headphone jack and USB port? I know on my spigen I can really get too many headphones to fit except the stock ones. Also when you lay it backside down with music on does it completely muffle the sound like the spigen does?
Thanks
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
The ports for the headphones and USB are bigger than the Spigens. I haven't had an issue with either. When it sits on its back or front it's raised. The four corners protrude out in all directions so it doesn't muffle the speaker at all.

Wish UAG made a case for the Note 8.
I ordered it for $39 dollars on eBay, I hope to get within a week..I'll let you know how it is.

Received it today; first impressions...it fits like a glove, but it's easy to put on.
The silicone is the inner shell so it doesn't attract any dust. The plastic outside shell has a nice texture and isn't slippery. The only rubber parts which can be seen are the"enforced"edges, which serve the purpose of protection and makes sure that your screen never touches anything when laid down on its face and a narrow ring around the screen. The case however doesn't have covers for the ports(usb, camera, headphone and speakers) I had the idea that it would come with a screen protector, but my dead brain cells must have misunderstood the description. It comes however with a protective cover which also serves as a stand. It feels sturdy and with it on, your note is well protected, it makes however quite heavy like a brick.
The "phone"still fits in my hand, but that is without the cover attached.
All in all I'm quite satisfied with this case it will protect my note well and the design is not too shabby either.
I'll give y'all an update in two weeks.
Cheers my friends.

Do you still have access to the S-pen?
Sure no problem, the spen is easy to remove and all the buttons(volume etc) react perfect even with such a protective case.

thanks for sharing your impressions and the pictures. i am very tempted to pick one of these up myself. I got a simple/cheap flip case to hold me over temporarily, but to be quite frank, I am too damn clumsy not to invest in more serious protection for my electronic devices.
Note 8 is my first case, so was curious how such a sturdy case felt on the device. Ballistic basically won over my loyalty two smartphone ago...had the equivalent case on my Atrix, and one day while running to catch a bus my phone fell out of my pocket and when flying, slammed into the asphalt of the highway/street i was running across hard enough to bounce three times and make it halfway back towards the other side of the street. I was horrified, went to retrieve it... not one single scratch, not one sign that anything had happened, just nothing. Those massive corners do their job, is all I have to say...
Hoping the case for this device is as reliable.
I can highly recommend this case, after two weeks of using, it has been nothing but good to my sweet note. The case and the stand feel sturdy, and when the note is my bag, the cover protects the screen...good stuff and a hell of a lot cheaper than the otter box.

just received mine today. this case is perfect but i am wondering how come the front cover which acts as a kickstand has a big hole that we will display the name samsung. i find it weird and find the hole redundant.
any thoughts?
When you put the cover on the back, the hole is a cutout for the camera.

yup i know but still find it funny as that hole will trap dust over a period of time.
Just picked up this case. It's very nice. Good tight fit and solid all around. I had the poetic revolution case for one day and tossed it. Pure junk IMO.

Has anyone noticed the case puts too much pressure on the back of the tablet. This is causing white spots to appear on the screen. Looks like LCD mura, but goes away when you take the case off. I've sent Ballistic an email, maybe mine is defective.

I have a Puro black TPU case and i was thinking on buying an S-View cover but i was wondering if it's worthy to buy and use.

S-View are great cases if you dont mind having to hold it open like a book. If you play games there not the best.

The S View screen is actually a bit useful. Add my mod and you get music controls! (Shameless advertising)
However, whether it's worth it at the price is something else. I have a Samsung black one and it got scratched a bit easily (could be cause of the car mount though), and I'm tslking about the front side, the material is a bit torn in a way.
Take a look at the Spigen Slim View Armor, it's what I'm thinking of next.

Not really worth the expensive pricetag. Doesn't offer protection. The s view window thing is quite cool though
If you are using TW roms you will love it. It works really well with calls (answering without opening the cover and really protects your screen scratches in your pocket etc. It is also more likely to prevent a screen crack after a drop that a case without any from cover (even with a screen protector on) withou affecting the size of the device that much. It does make your s4 feel a little larger (the back is not as thin as the stock cover. On the other hand have its own back cover means that it doesnt really matter if it gets scratched.
The downside is that is leaves the corners and sides unprotected which can scratch quite easily.
I've been using it since the day i bought my s4 and i love it. Am now using it on PAC ROM using s-view hatdroid app from playstore. (which works better that expected and has music support for apollo) and i can even answer calls like TW roms by enabling glove mode.
Spigen Slim Armor View all the way. Buy directly from Spigen... anywhere else its a 99% chance you get a knockoff. Learned that the hard way.
I love the screen protection it provides. And I love S View. Makes it great to just glance at the time, answer calls, snooze the alarm, etc without opening the case. And it seems the case provides very good protection without much bulk.

Hey, i just posted this in its own thread..but i picked up an S-view at Tiger Direct for 29.99...had it marked on the shelf from 59.99.
I didnt think it was worth it for $60, but for $30 i figured what the hell.
Does the S View cover have a magnet? Or just like the Samsung Flip Cover which is utterly meaningless?

I don't care much about the size or weight of the case. i just need something that can withstand a lot, maybe even a bullet.

The defender is what I use. I work as a mechanic and bouncer and had a very annoying clumsy ex that would drop it all the time.. Nothing stronger.
